My own masochist deck honestly gets hurt by it, I’ve ended up making a strat to rush monsters like mekk knights on the field to use as tribute fodder for Krystia and Vanity’s Ruler (also some mad pulls). Also have BLS link, Number 101, and exciton knight which are crazy. Not to mention I also somehow have fenrir… It is funny when I don’t open any of that crazy side though, I just normal a level 4 and it’s so funny to see the Maxx c -1 drop :)

Ballgame is such an insanely cool card. They need to make an insect with an effect like: "You can discard this card; Add 1 'Ball' card that mentions insect monsters from your deck to your hand." I would play the shit out of Ballpark insects if they did that.
I forgot what episode it was, but I remember Cimooooo considering cutting it and calling it not that great. Just goes to show you that it's actually a solid card in his insect deck. Makes more sense to keep Ballpark over dogshit like Man-eater bug if you ask me.

I feel the best borrel for master duel is borrelguard it's underlooked it says can't be destroyed by card effects so it's both & borrelend is a link 5 too high investment! 😂

17:22 the right choice here may have been to actually banish lovely labyrnth. most lab builds only play one of her. if you banished her, you would've had a much better shot at taking it, even if i don't know if you would've won outright Lady Lab is annoying to deal with but besides being sticky as hell, she's not as strong without Lovely also in rotation. and Lab decks always play at least 2 so banishing her doesn't do much when she's so easily accessible
He could've prevented so much card destruction if he banished it. He was scared of the lady labrynth but he has ice dragons prison in his deck, which is great at taking her out.
Absolutely Lovely was the only legitimate choice. He got a golden chance and passed it up like nothing. No wonder he loses to Lab everytime when he doesn't even know how to play against them.

This card reminded me of the effect of a card that Izayoi YGO TF4 used called "mask of roses" where the effect of equipping it on an opponent's monster will take control of it

Konami is turning every darn deck into a combo deck lmao. Salanangreat used to be midrange, now it is combo. Altergeist used to be control, now it is combo. Dinosaur used to be OTK deck, now it is combo. I mean put a resonator engine into Labrinth and guess what, it is also combo xD.
I'm not even sure how to distinguish between any deck type in the game anymore tbh. Literally all of the relevant decks have the same "combo into a big board" style, at least as far as I can tell.

You had the line much earlier in the Code Talker game. You could have crashed Giant Rat and summoned Resonance. Then Ballgame reveal Cross Sword and swap Firewall/Resonance.
I recently just started my own masochist run and got to Plat V after 117 games. Personally, I think this is where the heart of Masochist run is. There's a bunch of meta decks roaming around and the ups and downs really make it for me. I'm playing an additional two rules: Rule 5; 3 Win Streak, 1 Common Maindeck monster craft that is NOT in your collection, and Rule 6; 5 Win Streak, 1 Rare Maindeck monster craft that is NOT in your collection. This means that the pressure is really on when you start hitting a stride (or lucky streak). 181 Games played and only used Rule 5 four times total (and have never gotten to use Rule 6). Something to think about. Best of luck on the road to diamond. I'll be on the trail with ya.

Was wondering how long it would take Cimo to realize the potential of giant ball game. I recognized it as soon as he put it in the deck but he always just used it for the weak monster reborn effect instead of the creature swap effect.
I think once a week you should do a masochist tournament and the winner, including yourself gets to pick one card from all of the participants carpools to craft
He'd kill for some of my generic insect stuff I've got floating around. Or my Royal Chaos Angel. He's a wonderful big bastard that sits there like an asshole.
I think a good pull would be Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring. While it doesn't fit the insect archetype, it has a pretty unique effect in hand, that may be helpful
That's Gold for you, 99% of games are Bots or Try Hards (If you play Snake Eyes in gold or lower we are talking about you) and like 1% are fun back and forth matches. Its sad when you look forward to someone summoning DM because at lest its not a bot.
YuGi-Boomer in me was driven crazy by that Lab game at 22:00. Man summoned and resummoned and special summoned half his deck and extra in a single turn while blowing through at least 3 destruction/banish attempts, and wiped out Cimo of every single resource he had and still ended on a full board and up 6 cards. I know its Masochist deck and vs a Meta deck its going to be a shit show sometimes, I get it. But damn I just hate it lol.
