@katie15732 Phil (deaf) from The Penguins of Madagascar and Mr. Bean (ADHD, Peter Pan and Asperger's, some of kind of a mixture), too. There was also an obscure Spanish (produced in Basque, actually) cartoon (i remember watching it on my native language), named Los Balunis, in which it features an elderly character riding on a wheelchair.
I watch helluva boss and when the scene with Oliver showed I was literally crying so hard omfg, my sister is deaf so seeing they added a deaf kid in the show made me so happy 😭
I once made an art of Oliver as an actual imp(AKA demonic goblin) in which he was a bit more cuter than the usual imp designs I made(cuz they were ugly as Hell which was intentional) and his pointed ears were ripped, not fully but they looked like something had took bites outta them, sadly I accidentally got rid of that, whoops, but yeah also in my take he's Fizz's son and that succubus character with the glasses is the mom
I’m very glad you put Warriors in this. The series has a pretty good representation of disabled characters. When I saw Jayfeather in the thumbnail, I was like “Hell yeah im watching this!” Oh, off topic but my dog is disabled too :> (He is paraplegic, or paralyzed in the lower body, he has a wheelchair but my family prefers him not to use it so he can build up strength in his legs, he walks just fine!)
My dog is disabled too! He has a neurological disability so he’s very special, my best guess is dog Down syndrome but there’s very little study of neurological disorders in dogs. I watched this video because of Jayfeather as well lol! Crookedstar and jayfeather were two of my favorites
Oh very interesting! My friend has a cat that has something similar to that i think? But yeah i was happy to see Warrior cats making the video lol@@TheGenshinSimp
warriors does not have good representation of disable characters. it has its fair share of them but the Erins do not treat them with the proper care and respect they should. Brightheart for example is only able to get passed her trauma because Cloudtail loves her, her self worth is fully dependent on what the man in her life thinks (Warriors is also notoriously misogynistic). Jayfeather too has his disability done away with during his dreams and all the time travel parts. And not to forget Snowkit who only existed to force his mother into retiring; the erins used his deaf character to kill him off. This doesn't even begin in just how extremely ableist the Warriors series is.
omgg the oliver scene was so cute but the dumb bird app had a tantrum AGAIN just cause the kid was in hell like it’s literally in the lore that imps are hellborn.. BRO WAS BORN THERE HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING
WAIT PEOPLE ACTUALLY TOOK ISSUE WITH A GUY IN A SHOW ABOUT HELL BEING IN HELL?! THEY'LL COMPLAIN ABOUT NO DISABILITY REP AND THEN PULL THIS?! TF DID THEY WANT HIM TO BE?! IN SPACE?!
Ayo weird fact, my birthday is 31st December... So this is my last day being 15. Thank you all for your support. I hope this new video doesn't disappoint. Also sorry for the voice jumpscare /hyp being subjected to British is never fun /j also I was really fighting that stutter I get when reading. Far too many takes 😂 Edit: btw I currently can't pin comments because Google doesn't want me to Edit: it is now my birthday 🎂
Suggestions: 1. ENA (I think) some people think she has DID or bipolar, but for me it feels more like 2 different people in one body, since they have different voices. But it is ENA, so anything could happen. One side is an optimistic side and one is a unoptimistic side. Plus the unoptimistic side seems kinda depressed as she breaks down a lot and wishes for someone to “end her suffering”.
More Warrior Cats characters who classify as disabled: Cinderpelt: Has a limp after being partially run over by a car Longtail: Blind due to an incident with a hare Briarlight: Back legs were paralyzed after being crushed by a tree Jagged Peak: Fell while tree climbing and was not properly cared for, resulting in a permanent limp Moth Flight: ADHD Shadowsight: Photosensitive epilepsy Deadfoot: Born with a twisted and unusable paw Petalfall: Photosensitive epilepsy Gray Wing: After inhaling too much smoke during a forest fire, he began experiencing something similar to exertion-induced asthma If you can’t tell, I don’t go outside 🤭
@@cheesyweezyslayHis name was at birth Hopekit, but he stepped on a rock wrongly and his paw got twisted so he renamed himself Deadfoot to show that any disabled cat can be a warrior even with an unusable limb.
Disabled Media Characters that I hope you'll include next time ❤: Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians): Dyslexia/ADHD. Six-Eared Macaque (Lego Monkie Kid): Blind in one eye. The Hook brothers (Tangled/Tangled the Series): Amputated hand/foot. Adelina Amouteru (The Young Elites): Lost eye. Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus): Anxiety. Kinger (The Amazing Digital Circus): Unnamed Neorological Condition. King Edmund (Tangled the Series): Amputated Arm. Varian (Tangled the Series): Autism-coded - at least in my opinion.
Here are my four questions. 1. What inspired you to do the disabled characters in media series? 2. Which of the disabled characters is your favourite one and why? 3. Do you include Disney characters in your videos? Because Silver from treasure planet could be in the next disabled characters. 4. Do you ever want to create your own characters for any media With or without disabilities? If so, why?
I would say rise donatello, but he’s not explicitly stated to be autistic, however he is a very well written example of autism and has been stated by the writers to have been written with autism in mind.
I love these videos so much! I’m glad you are putting this stuff out there for others to see. I was thinking, perhaps you could include some Craig of the Creek characters if you have a part 6? The two characters would be Jackie/The arm [deaf], and JP [autism/neurodivergent]. CotC is my favorite show and comforts me very well, and it barley ever gets any recognition for its amazing representation and diversity, so it make me so happy if you included them. Have a splendid day, sincerely, me. ❤
0:22 toko isnt the only character ive seen with badly represented did. Another character is Mike from total drama and his switches were him just taking a deep breath and boom, he's another personality. Speaking of which how does it make you feel to see how badly did is represented?
I want to add that they portrayed one of Mike's alters "mal " as a villain which should never be done with a character that has Dissociative identity disorder. Also didn't like how they got rid of his alters like it could be cured like that.
I’m developing a story where the main character has DID and goes on a quest to learn about himself and his alters, while also getting revenge on people who had traumatized him. Though I don’t have DID myself, I do my best to research on DID, including reaching out to those who have been diagnosed with it. It’s best to read through what’s good and bad representation of DID. ^^
Suggestions from Danganronpa cause I'm obsessed with it: Ryoma (dwarfism) Nekomaru (heart defect) Ruruka (narcissistic personality disorder) Also I'm certain Ryota has something, but I can't put my finger on what Additionally, non danganronpa suggestions Lawrence Gordon (Saw, amputee (possible bad rep)) Chump (Migration, missing leg) Floofty (Bugsnax, amputee)
"Blue-Eyed Samurai" has a well-written characters such as the Shogun's first-born son/Akemi's new husband who, in spite of his stutter, is actually gentle; also Kinuyo - a deaf and mute woman who was mercy-killed by Mizu
Kinda happy to see a bit of warrior cats in this video Honestly in those books it's SUPER easy to find disabled characters. I especially like Briarlight (And fun fact , she is actually directly inspired by one of the writer's relative that had too an accident leaving him paralyzed)
yea, was thinking the same. you also have deadfoot (had a weak foreleg pretty sure, Windclan deputy in the first book,) also Cinderpelt (got a mangled leg), snowkit, (deaf from birth) there are a lot more
Violet has her first introduction in Dork Diaries book 3 Tales from a NOT-SO -Talented pop star Specifically pages 202-206 where she is blunt in telling Nikki off for “canceling” her band auditions at the last minute but also sympathetic towards her when she sees her crying when she thinks no one wanted to show up to said auditions
I read one book from Warrior Cats, and that was the first one with Jayfeather (I still call him Jaypaw) so that’s nice. Also, I love how you elaborated the badly represented DID.
Some disabled characters at the top of my head Flippy: ptsd and d.i.d Jack cayman: lacking a arm (Unless you count the chainsaw producing arm as a prosthetic)
Here are my questions! :3 1- Which disabilities would you like seeing in media more? 2- Do you know any case IRL about a discapacity? 3- What is your general opinion on hospitals? 4- Any strange discapacities you find interesting? 5- Which is the WORST disability representations you have ever seen in media? Also, a weird suggestion since is mentioned in the series but happens off-screen, but Homura Akemi from Mahou Shojo Madoka Magica used to have a heart disease which kept her for months away from school. On the seventh chapter, as she is presented to the class in a flashback, is expressed, and a while after she gets called by Madoka and goes to the school nurse to take some pills for it (probably for safety reasons).
I always loved the way Dr. Gregory House (House MD) told his leg damage/trauma to a class of medical students(Muscle cell death+infarction that lead to chronic pain) as a test to help them learn diagnostics. He also struggles with a drug addiction because of the constant leg pain. His colleagues have also suspected him to be on the autistic spectrum but he was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder.
samwise gamgee and frodo baggins (both from The Lord of the Rings) have lots of autistic traits each and as an autistic person i really relate to them both, esp sam :3 same thing for black hole from bfb!!!
ENA. Idk for sure but some people think she has DID but for me I think it’s more like 2 different people, since they’re both represented with different voices.
As someone with an invisible disability (ADHD) I think that its great you also add characters that have an invisible disabilities/disorder as well as with visible disabilities
Izetta (Izetta: The Last Witch): Uses a wheelchair 12th Doctor (Doctor Who): ADHD Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus): Anxiety Barnaby (Billie Bust Up!): Autistic Mike Schmidt (FNAF Movie): PTSD (implied) Crazy Cousin Gizmo (Robot and Monster) (Questionable representation of) Schizophrenia Four (Battle For Dream Island): BPD (implied) Foudror/Striker (Dad'X): BPD Vidcund Curious (The Sims): Implied autistic Peppino Spaghetti (Pizza Tower): PTSD, anxiety, and anger issues N (Pokémon): Autistic Reagan Ridley (Inside Job): Autistic Nergal (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy): Autistic and HPD (fun fact: the creator, Maxwell Atoms, is autistic himself)
I’m not sure if you’re gonna do another part, but there’s a few characters with disabilities in My Hero Academia. Shouta Aizawa is missing one leg and one eye, Mirko is missing a leg and an arm, Katsuki Bakugou is missing an arm, Shouto Todoroki is heavily implied to be autistic, Izuku Midoriya is heavily implied to be autistic, Mei Hatsume is heavily implied to be autistic, Tensei Iida is in a wheel chair, Tomura Shigaraki has an unnamed skin disorder, Twice has a split personality disorder, and there’s probably more but that’s all I can think of right now. I love this series!😁
One of my favorite characters with autism is a character named Fantoccio from the game Billie Bust Up. What’s special about him is that he was a fan submitted character that the autistic fan who designed him put a lot of himself into. For example, in most art of the character, he is shown stimming by patting his face, a stim of the creator of the character himself. The game also did a sponsored stream with ASAN, the Autism Self Advocacy Network, an organization dedicated to creating a more respectful view of autism run by an autistic board of directors.
Some other suggestions I just thought of: Regular Sized Rudy (Bob's Burgers)---Asthma (Not sure if that counts) Jimmy Pesto Junior (Bob's Burger)---Lisp Pops (Secret Life of Pets)---Paralyzed (Wheelchair user) Edit: I forgot one of my favorite fictional characters! Egwind (Animaniacs 2020)---Some sort of speech impediment (idk what it's called)
Questions #1: what inspired you to put autumn (lego friends) in disabilities part 3? I’m asking this as autumn is one of my favorite characters in Lego friends! #2: how many parts will this series have #3: do you consider statements made by the crew of a show as canon? If so, I think you should put Marcy from Amphibia in part 6, she was confirmed to be autistic by the Amphibia team after the show ended, she’s also my favorite character in Amphibia #4: would you consider vitiligo a disability, if so, then put Mateo from lego dreamzzz in part 6! #5: just curious, what are your preferred pronouns and are you disabled irl? You can only answer if you feel comfortable with it!
Cabby from Inanimate insanity. Maybe she have PTSD (her panic in 12 episode, season 3, when Bow asked Cabby about her parents), and bad memory(I don’t remember word of this issues), reason why she have files. (English not my native language, sorry for my bad English)
Here Are Some Suggestions For Part 6! ( U Don't Have To Do It If U Don't Want To!) Aaron Mitchell (Mitchell's Vs The Machines) - Autistic Reagan Ridley (Inside Job) - Asperger's syndrome Cabby (Inanimate Insanity) - Short Term Memory Loss Harold Hutchins And George Beard (Captain underpants) - ADHD Donatello (The Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) - Autistic Sprig (Amphibia) - ADHD Miko (Glitch Techs) - ADHD Diper Pines (Gravity Falls) - Autistic Bart Simpson (The Simpsons) - ADHD Mabel Pines (Gravity Falls) - ADHD Blitzo (Helluva Boss) - ADHD Woody (Battle For Dream Island) - Speech Impediment Rodrick Heffley (Diary of a wimpy kid (Movie version)) - Dyslexia Patrick (SML) - ADHD Stacey (The baby-sitters club) - Diabetes Thats All!
Wings of Fire suggestions! (SPOILERS BTW) Clay - Has a permanent limp in his hind leg after surviving a dragonbite viper attack Starflight - Lost his vision in the Nightwing volcano eruption
A suggestion: Chalky (Excellent Entities/Extraordinary Excellent Entities/THREEE): Lisp :) I love watching these videos because I love seeing disabled characters being recognized in media :3
Hiya. I have been following this series for quite a while. So Question, how many suggestions do you take from the comments? Here are some character suggestions: Woody (BFDI): speech impediment Vaggie (Hazbin Hotel): missing eye Boyfriend (FNF): Autism and ADHD Golden Freddy (FNAF): most likely paralysed Bell (BFDI): No limbs (can’t remember the fancy word for it) Sonic: implied ADHD SpongeBob: implied Autism Yellow Guy(DHMIS): implied Autism Gaty (BFDI): Born with no arms Basketball (BFDI): Born with no arms
I fuckinh love Scott Malkinson he’s my son he’s just like me except I have a mild stutter and no diabetes but I mean socially A L S O I believe he is somewhat autism coded
Two characters I hope you'll include in part 6: Gradient Joe (Bugbo): non verbal [bc he uses paper and a red crayon to communicate] Chikn Nuggit (Chikn nuggit): Puberphonia [mentioned but not by name, only referred to as "a cwippling medical condition" in one episode]
Here are some disabled characters in case you haven't included them yet. A lot of them are from Star Trek😉 Ringo from Blue Eye Samurai: Phocomelia Rubberband Man from Static Shock: Dyslexia Blitzo from Helluva Boss: Burn Victim Moxxie from Helluva Boss: Autism (speculated) Vaggie from Hazbin Hotel: Missing an eye Spock from Star Trek franchise: Dyslexia Geordi La Forge from Star Trek franchise: Blind Samantan Rutherford from Star Trek franchise: Burn Victim, missing an eye, memory loss Charles "Trip" Tucker III from Star Trek franchise: Insomnia
Just letting you know split personality disorder isn't a thing it's just DID/it's just called DID /gen naming it split personality disorder implies it's a personality disorder (which is isn't) and also it's just is a horrible explanation for it as DID is so much more than just splitting.
I love it. Guess there are more disabled characters with authism that are not annoying or super inteligent. There is an apisode of "Arthur" with a boy who has Asperger. Owen (total drama), Obelix, Alcest (le petite Nicolas) and Garfield have Prader Willie syndrome, they eat everytime and are fat
Donatello from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is probably one of the best portrayal of autism in media imo, but since it's Donnie, he's a nerd.
Batman has a ton of Rogues with various disorders/disabilities (though I wouldn't say they're accurate, especially the first): Both Two-Face and The Ventriloquist have DID (fun fact: in Batman TAS, Batman calls Ventriloquist's disorder Multiple Personality Disorder, which is what it was called before it was changed to Dissociative Identity Disorder a year later) The Riddler has OCD (can't commit a crime without leaving a riddle/can't help but answer riddles, as seen in Justice League Action) The Joker has PBA that causes him to involuntary laugh The Penguin sometimes has deformed hands (also Dwarfism maybe?) The Mad Hatter sometimes has Dwarfism (The New Batman Adventures comes first to mind) Magpie is a kleptomaniac Obviously this isn't everyone, just those I knew for sure/came to mind
Harley Quinn is known for her mental struggles as well (Histrionic Personality Disorder, abuse victim, visual/audio hallucinations+other psychosis symptoms)and Cyborg/Victor Stone (cybernetic enhancements done through experiments, by his parents) are also pretty obvious for DC. A bunch I know from Marvel (that haven't been mentioned)are: Moon Knight/Marc Spector(DID+Schizophrenia in comics?), Deadpool/Wade Wilson(ADHD+ cancer+skin condition, including chronic pain+Schizophrenia+Major Depressive Disorder), Iron man/Tony Stark (PTSD+ Narcissist+alcohol addiction), Bruce Banner/Hulk(anger management issues) James Rhodes/War Machine (spinal injury with paralysis), Charles Xavier (paralysis usually caused by injury) David Haller/Legion(schizophrenia) Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (amputated arm, replaced with cybernetic prosthetic+brain washing/whatever else Hydra did), Nick Furry(Loss of use in one eye due to injury), Thor (hela brutally cut out his eye+ in the comics he also has an arm prosthetic ) Dr. Steven Strange(nerve damage in hands), Natasha Romanov (sterilization through involuntary surgery) Clint Barton(On-the-job Hearing loss) Comic Bonus: Flash Thompson was temporarily bonded with Venom after loosing his legs during military service.
Here is a few: - Cloe from the Bratz TV Series is heavily implied to have an anxiety disorder - There is the show Quads! (warning it has the same humor as South Park) created by John Callahan, a paralyzed man animating the show using only his mouth - Idk if you included it, but there is Gary from Final Space. By the second season, he has a prostetic leg. - In Heartbreak High, there is Quinni who is autistic (and an amazing representation) and also Malakai who develops PTSD (heavily implied) - There is Bojack Horseman's grandmother who had a lobotomy (and of course sooooo many other things from other characters) - There is Benny from Ricky Sprocket (obscure reference lol) who is colorblind Lemme know if you want more! I watch a ridiculous amount of TV and I'll give you a hand.
I’m surprised Finn from adventure time hasn’t been put in this series yet! I’d also like to see Yellow Guy from DHMIS, since he’s highly implied to be autistic in the series (they even call him slurs lmao)
I got 4 questions: 1. What are your thoughts on villain/antagonists who are disabled, or have mental illness? I personally feel like it really just depends how it’s written but that’s just me. 2: what is your opinion on amnesia representation? 3: do you feel like some people confuse a character for being mentally ill when that’s not true in canon? 4: do you have a disabled character wish list? If so, what is the mental illness/ disabled representation Do you want to see in the future? Thanks for answering.
Woody from bfdi is evident to have autism and adhd, craving consistency, getting things over with, Hatred of loud noises and sometimes forgetting sympathy. He has screamed from balloony popping and has been sensory to things like forks, he also kicked flower when she was trying to have a sad moment and just saying “bye”. Woody has also shown to want his idea to work, shaking rocky in the process and not liking the ruckus balloony created, likely hating the noise.
Here’s some suggestions for part 6 (if you make it): Janitor (Little Nightmares): Blind Floofty (Bugsnax): Prosthetic leg Demi (Fortnite): Prosthetic arm Snorpy (Bugsnax): possibly social anxiety? Love these vids you make btw!
The character I have is not canonically autistic, but he’s REALLY implied to be, like if the writers were to say he was (which will probably never happen) it honestly wouldn’t surprise me much. Goemon Ishikawa XIII from Lupin the Third has a lot of autistic traits, some notably being his lack of social skills, a mainly monotone voice whenever he speaks, a supposed comfort object (zantetsuken), a picky eater in some scenes, sometimes takes jokes literally, has some form of routine (trains with his sword/zantetsuken VERY often), and he can even infodump in some scenes, there’s also a scene in one of the tv specials where he says quotes lines from his favourite movie with zero context. There’s a LOT more pointers i can go into, but i would be here for ages LOL, but yeah a lot of people in the lupin fandom from what i’ve seen can agree that he’s autistic, so i felt the need to request him here!
Love this series as an autistic person, please keep it up if you can! :) Here's a few more characters for you - Theo Dimas from Only Murders in the Building (deaf), Edwin Calendar from the Hetty Feather TV series (a wheelchair user) and Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts (believed to be autistic by Eddie Redmayne, his actor - don't know how canon that is). Oh and also - the CBBC show A Kind of Spark is amazing in its representation of autism and ADHD for all kinds of characters!
Suggestions lol 1. Briarlight (Warrior Cats):Paralyzed by a fallen tree. 2. Longtail (Warrior Cats):Blinded by a rabbit 3. Mike (Total Drama): Badly represented DID 4. TPB One-Eye (Warrior Cats): Missing eye and hard of hearing/deaf 5. DOTC One-Eye (Warrior Cats): Missing Eye 6. Della Duck (DuckTales): Amputee 7. Jia Anderson (Godzilla vs. Kong): Deaf
For your next part of disabled characters, you can add Melody Moon from Andy’s Apple Farm as highly sensitive person (implied autistic) and Misty brightdawn with social anxiety
i raise: Rex - Paw Patrol (paralyzed, uses a wheelchair) Charger - Rubble & Crew (prosthetic leg) Chase - Paw Patrol (PTSD) there's also several other Paw Patrol characters that could be autistic or adhd (Ryder, Rocky, Marshall, maybe Cap'n Turbot, Moby, Everest) Phil Coulson - Agents of Shield (prosthetic hand) Leo Fitz - Agents of Shield (TBI, possibly autistic) John Masters and Chase Masters - Storm Runners by Roland Smith (possible PTSD for both)
I think a good example of a fictional character with DID is Fei, the main character from the Game Xenogears. The Game even went as far as to literally call it Dissociative identity disorder, which is insane for a Game released in 1998
I would like to add two disabled character: Della Duck from Ducktales and Demoman from Team Fortress 2. After a trip to the moon gone horribly wrong, one of Della's legs got stuck in rocket debris. She had to learn how to live with a cybernetic prosthetic ever since the tragic accident. As for Demoman, he wears an eyepatch, which heavily implies that he's blind in his left eye. Despite that, he's still a good enough Demoman to be able to sit and discuss Demoman things.

Juke (The Amazing World Of Gumball) - Autism Lammy (Happy Tree Friends) - Schizophrenia Elma (Pretty Blood) - Blind In One Eye & PTSD Audrey Antelope (Llama Llama) - Prosthetic Leg Rex (Paw Patrol) - Wheelchair User Horrid Henry (Horrid Henry) - Either Autism Or ADHD Ocho Tootmorsel (The Amazing World Of Gumball) - IED (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) Or Either ADHD That's All I Got, I Hope Of My Some Suggestions Appear In This Series! :)

Heya, may I make a request? If so,it's Mike from Total Drama! The disability he has is DID (but terribly written, also at that time it was still called MPD). Another one I know (not sure if it is a disability but it does affect on the person's,well in this case object, life.) It's Suitcase from Inanimate insanity, they have psychosis.
Briarlight from warriors may be a good one for the next video! Her back legs were crushed by a tree and she has to use her front legs to walk for the rest of her life. Edit: Starflight and Tamarin from the wings of fire series may also be good. They’re both blind characters, Starflight’s blindness being caused by burning. Can’t wait to see the next vid!
Anxiety is just toko in general. I don't think it was ever confirmed what she has. Vasovagal episodes make you faint at the sign of gore so it makes sense to believe she could have that
Include Kuriko and Futao from the mimic ( roblox horror game ): in Kuriko's lore, she lost the ability to walk, and Futao has an impulse disorder and hallucinations.
Hi! I saw that in one video you added zee from total drama, can you put Mike (from Total Drama revenge of the island and All-Stars)? He has dissociative identity disorder
If they've not been done: - Chai from Hi-fi Rush (arm injury that ends up getting amputated & replaced with a robotic prosthetic arm) - Pretty much everyone in Finding Nemo & Finding Dory Nemo = dwarfism in one fin Marlin = PTSD (from the barracuda attack, & has a big fear of losing loved ones due to losing most of his children & wife) Dory = Amnesia (which the film describes as "Short Term Memory Loss") Gill = Possible PTSD or depression from whatever caused Gill to end up injured & put in a fish tank The Tank Gang = Anxiety (Bloat, Gurgle) & OCD (Bubbles, Jacque) are noticeable in most of them, & Deb is delusional (belives her reflection is her sister & calls her Flo) Bruce, Chum & Anchor = Addiction. Bruce also suffers psychotic episodes (possible Schizophrenia) Gerald = A type of neurodivergent disorder; he's much more talkative than other pelicans & has high energy, & has a hyperfixiation with hearing stories from fish. - Branch from Trolls (PTSD & Depression from losing his grandmother, & refuses to sing again in fear of him losing other loved ones, & has a paranoid personality due to said trauma.) - Gorilla/Placid I.T from Miraculous (anxiety, autistic traits & is also mute...& certainly a better father to Adrien than Gabriel!) There's plenty of others mentioned in the comments, too.
I know I suggested these on your last video, but I was a bit late. Might I suggest John Locke from lost (wheelchair user, but he can walk in most of the main plot for reasons that would take forever to explain), or Alex Krycek from The X-Files (Amputee)? I know you've probably never heard of these though, lol. EDIT: And Daniel Faraday from Lost!!! (significant memory loss from brain damage, which is again "cured" in most of the plot, but he was also a child prodigy and a savant which could have implied he may have been autistic?)
Heidi's friend was a wheelchair user as well! And that one guy from the secret garden, But if you add one of them to the next video make sure to include fact that they both were able to walk in the end
Hey, if your doing book series now, Peter from the book Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes is Blind. I really enjoy the book and I’m sure you can find it online! Also for the faq: what inspired you to start this series?
Ideas for your future videos: Professor Calculus (The Adventures Of Tintin) - Hard of hearing Commander Shore (Stingray 1964) - Wheelchair user Marina (Stingray 1964) - Mute Brains (Thunderbirds 1965) - Stutter Tommy (Tommy: The Movie) - Deaf, Dumb, Blind

Fr like- I LOVE THE FAN ART AND STUFF WHERE ASMODEUS AND FIZZ ADOPT OLIVER (i don't really see any adults with him so- MAYBE?)

When I saw Jayfeather in the thumbnail, I was like “Hell yeah im watching this!”
Oh, off topic but my dog is disabled too :> (He is paraplegic, or paralyzed in the lower body, he has a wheelchair but my family prefers him not to use it so he can build up strength in his legs, he walks just fine!)
Yeah warriors is...not the best with representation lol. Good thing the Fandom can make AUs to combat that
omgg the oliver scene was so cute but the dumb bird app had a tantrum AGAIN just cause the kid was in hell
like it’s literally in the lore that imps are hellborn..
IN SPACE?!

Not me thinking they ment that one self care app

Suggestions:
I love that show
More Warrior Cats characters who classify as disabled:
Cinderpelt: Has a limp after being partially run over by a car
Longtail: Blind due to an incident with a hare
Briarlight: Back legs were paralyzed after being crushed by a tree
Jagged Peak: Fell while tree climbing and was not properly cared for, resulting in a permanent limp
Moth Flight: ADHD
Shadowsight: Photosensitive epilepsy
Deadfoot: Born with a twisted and unusable paw
Petalfall: Photosensitive epilepsy
Gray Wing: After inhaling too much smoke during a forest fire, he began experiencing something similar to exertion-induced asthma
If you can’t tell, I don’t go outside 🤭
They fr named him deadfoot 💀💀
No wonder hes named deadfoot
Snowkit: deaf
Goosefeather: mentally insane
@@cheesyweezyslayHis name was at birth Hopekit, but he stepped on a rock wrongly and his paw got twisted so he renamed himself Deadfoot to show that any disabled cat can be a warrior even with an unusable limb.
Disabled Media Characters that I hope you'll include next time ❤:
Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians): Dyslexia/ADHD.
Six-Eared Macaque (Lego Monkie Kid): Blind in one eye.
The Hook brothers (Tangled/Tangled the Series): Amputated hand/foot.
Adelina Amouteru (The Young Elites): Lost eye.
Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus): Anxiety.
Kinger (The Amazing Digital Circus): Unnamed Neorological Condition.
King Edmund (Tangled the Series): Amputated Arm.
Varian (Tangled the Series): Autism-coded - at least in my opinion.
Kinger is literally that one grandpa 😭😭😭 maybe he has dementia or something? Idk I'm no doctor
POMNIIIIII :D
Nearly everyone from pjo: adhd and dyslexic, I also hc the Roman’s to have dyscalculia
Pomni having anxiety isn’t cannon
@@saeleelee9567 Tell me otherwise. Girl literally turns into TV static eyes when she's overwhelmed.
YAYYY
I'm pretty sure he was confirmed to be autistic by the writers on social media.
Thank you!! I'll try remember these suggestions for next time :)
@@project_letters thank you so so much!! It means a lot :)
@@project_lettershello 👋👊👋🤘

Suggestions from Danganronpa cause I'm obsessed with it:
Ryoma (dwarfism)
Nekomaru (heart defect)
Ruruka (narcissistic personality disorder)
Also I'm certain Ryota has something, but I can't put my finger on what
Additionally, non danganronpa suggestions
Lawrence Gordon (Saw, amputee (possible bad rep))
Chump (Migration, missing leg)
Floofty (Bugsnax, amputee)
Can mikan and monaca count tho?

More Danganronpa suggestions (only Nagito's is canon, others are headcanon):
- Ibuki (ADHD/attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder)
- Hiyoko (PPD/paranoid personality disorder)
- Nagito (frontemporal dementia)
- Chiaki (narcolepsy)
- Nagisa (OCD/obsessive compulsive disorder)
- Miu (HPD/histrionic personality disorder)
- Himiko (autism)
Ryota had some insomnia and eating disorder implications..? Mainly due to overwork
@avethecrabrave I love how you have the same headcanons as me lol. The only difference is that I also headcanon Tenko as having ADHD
I love how you added "badly represented" for Genocide Jack!
"Blue-Eyed Samurai" has a well-written characters such as the Shogun's first-born son/Akemi's new husband who, in spite of his stutter, is actually gentle; also Kinuyo - a deaf and mute woman who was mercy-killed by Mizu
Kinda happy to see a bit of warrior cats in this video
Honestly in those books it's SUPER easy to find disabled characters. I especially like Briarlight (And fun fact , she is actually directly inspired by one of the writer's relative that had too an accident leaving him paralyzed)
yea, was thinking the same.
you also have deadfoot (had a weak foreleg pretty sure, Windclan deputy in the first book,) also Cinderpelt (got a mangled leg), snowkit, (deaf from birth)
there are a lot more
@@artemis754 I mean it's warrior cat , it's pretty easy to find a disabled cat
As 12 year old girl with ADHD, this series made myself more confident. Thank you
Violet has her first introduction in Dork Diaries book 3 Tales from a NOT-SO -Talented pop star
Specifically pages 202-206 where she is blunt in telling Nikki off for “canceling” her band auditions at the last minute but also sympathetic towards her when she sees her crying when she thinks no one wanted to show up to said auditions
I read one book from Warrior Cats, and that was the first one with Jayfeather (I still call him Jaypaw) so that’s nice.
Also, I love how you elaborated the badly represented DID.
Some disabled characters at the top of my head
Flippy: ptsd and d.i.d
Jack cayman: lacking a arm (Unless you count the chainsaw producing arm as a prosthetic)
I love this series! We need better representation of different disabilities in the media!
Here are my questions! :3
1- Which disabilities would you like seeing in media more?
A pretty obscure one: Duster from Mother 3 walks with a permanent limp, which is likely due to a birth defect or paralysis.
I always thought it was implied Wess gave Duster that injury from training him too hard?
Also Ninten he has asthma
I love it when Oliver (Helluva Boss) was part of disabled characters
Is there a character that has a disability you like? If so, then who?
And
Is there a character you relate (disability or not)?
I always loved the way Dr. Gregory House (House MD) told his leg damage/trauma to a class of medical students(Muscle cell death+infarction that lead to chronic pain) as a test to help them learn diagnostics. He also struggles with a drug addiction because of the constant leg pain. His colleagues have also suspected him to be on the autistic spectrum but he was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder.
@@j.pnewcomer1069I love dr house
samwise gamgee and frodo baggins (both from The Lord of the Rings) have lots of autistic traits each and as an autistic person i really relate to them both, esp sam :3 same thing for black hole from bfb!!!
never seen House MD but that’s really interesting, it’s nice to know characters from other media who have disabilities :D
ENA. Idk for sure but some people think she has DID but for me I think it’s more like 2 different people, since they’re both represented with different voices.
As someone with an invisible disability (ADHD) I think that its great you also add characters that have an invisible disabilities/disorder as well as with visible disabilities
Izetta (Izetta: The Last Witch): Uses a wheelchair
12th Doctor (Doctor Who): ADHD
Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus): Anxiety
Barnaby (Billie Bust Up!): Autistic
Mike Schmidt (FNAF Movie): PTSD (implied)
Crazy Cousin Gizmo (Robot and Monster) (Questionable representation of) Schizophrenia
Four (Battle For Dream Island): BPD (implied)
Foudror/Striker (Dad'X): BPD
Vidcund Curious (The Sims): Implied autistic
Peppino Spaghetti (Pizza Tower): PTSD, anxiety, and anger issues
N (Pokémon): Autistic
Reagan Ridley (Inside Job): Autistic
Nergal (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy): Autistic and HPD (fun fact: the creator, Maxwell Atoms, is autistic himself)
I love this series!😁
the helluva boss one (the first one) was so heartwarming 😭🫶
One of my favorite characters with autism is a character named Fantoccio from the game Billie Bust Up. What’s special about him is that he was a fan submitted character that the autistic fan who designed him put a lot of himself into. For example, in most art of the character, he is shown stimming by patting his face, a stim of the creator of the character himself. The game also did a sponsored stream with ASAN, the Autism Self Advocacy Network, an organization dedicated to creating a more respectful view of autism run by an autistic board of directors.
Some other suggestions I just thought of:
Regular Sized Rudy (Bob's Burgers)---Asthma (Not sure if that counts)
Jimmy Pesto Junior (Bob's Burger)---Lisp
Pops (Secret Life of Pets)---Paralyzed (Wheelchair user)
Edit: I forgot one of my favorite fictional characters!
Egwind (Animaniacs 2020)---Some sort of speech impediment (idk what it's called)

More examples:
Yin-Yang (Inanimate Insanity) - Split-Personality Disorder
Pill (Animated Inanimate Battle) - Speaks with a lisp, and Nearsighted.
Melony (SMG4) Possibly autistic)
WHY IS THERE AN OBJECT SHOW FAN HERE
Just letting you know split personality disorder isn't a thing it's just DID/it's just called DID /gen naming it split personality disorder implies it's a personality disorder (which is isn't) and also it's just is a horrible explanation for it as DID is so much more than just splitting.
@angelsspace1002 oh. I didn't know that. I guess that's what Yin-Yang (from Inanimate Insanity) has.
Thank you for adding warrior cat characters! Next time could you do WoF (Wings of Fire) characters?
It's probably worth mentioning that Nagito also loses an arm at some point and is later seen using a prosthetic
Poor Nagito, he has a missing arm, cancer, and dementia
He was in part 3 I think
@@Andrewthedragontamer Nagito was lying about having cancer and dementia for Hinata 😭😭 but some ppl believes that he was telling the truth so idk
Batman has a ton of Rogues with various disorders/disabilities (though I wouldn't say they're accurate, especially the first):
Both Two-Face and The Ventriloquist have DID (fun fact: in Batman TAS, Batman calls Ventriloquist's disorder Multiple Personality Disorder, which is what it was called before it was changed to Dissociative Identity Disorder a year later)
The Riddler has OCD (can't commit a crime without leaving a riddle/can't help but answer riddles, as seen in Justice League Action)
The Joker has PBA that causes him to involuntary laugh
The Penguin sometimes has deformed hands (also Dwarfism maybe?)
The Mad Hatter sometimes has Dwarfism (The New Batman Adventures comes first to mind)
Magpie is a kleptomaniac
Obviously this isn't everyone, just those I knew for sure/came to mind
Harley Quinn is known for her mental struggles as well (Histrionic Personality Disorder, abuse victim, visual/audio hallucinations+other psychosis symptoms)and Cyborg/Victor Stone (cybernetic enhancements done through experiments, by his parents) are also pretty obvious for DC.
A bunch I know from Marvel (that haven't been mentioned)are:
Moon Knight/Marc Spector(DID+Schizophrenia in comics?),
Deadpool/Wade Wilson(ADHD+ cancer+skin condition, including chronic pain+Schizophrenia+Major Depressive Disorder),
Iron man/Tony Stark (PTSD+ Narcissist+alcohol addiction),
Bruce Banner/Hulk(anger management issues)
James Rhodes/War Machine (spinal injury with paralysis),
Charles Xavier (paralysis usually caused by injury)
David Haller/Legion(schizophrenia)
Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (amputated arm, replaced with cybernetic prosthetic+brain washing/whatever else Hydra did),
Nick Furry(Loss of use in one eye due to injury),
Thor (hela brutally cut out his eye+ in the comics he also has an arm prosthetic )
Dr. Steven Strange(nerve damage in hands),
Natasha Romanov (sterilization through involuntary surgery)
Clint Barton(On-the-job Hearing loss)
Comic Bonus: Flash Thompson was temporarily bonded with Venom after loosing his legs during military service.
Here is a few:
- Cloe from the Bratz TV Series is heavily implied to have an anxiety disorder
- There is the show Quads! (warning it has the same humor as South Park) created by John Callahan, a paralyzed man animating the show using only his mouth
- Idk if you included it, but there is Gary from Final Space. By the second season, he has a prostetic leg.
- In Heartbreak High, there is Quinni who is autistic (and an amazing representation) and also Malakai who develops PTSD (heavily implied)
- There is Bojack Horseman's grandmother who had a lobotomy (and of course sooooo many other things from other characters)
- There is Benny from Ricky Sprocket (obscure reference lol) who is colorblind
Lemme know if you want more!
I got 4 questions:
Here are my 3 suggestons for the next part.
Bomb from Inanimate Insanity (Stutter)
The Mole from Happy Tree Friends (Blind)
Tom from Eddsworld (ADHD).
I hope it's okay to submit, Snake from Zero escape: 999 is blind and wears an arm prosthetic!
Tempest Shadow (My Little Pony: The Movie, 2017) - lost horn and facial scarring
Here’s some suggestions for part 6 (if you make it):
Janitor (Little Nightmares): Blind
Floofty (Bugsnax): Prosthetic leg
Demi (Fortnite): Prosthetic arm
Snorpy (Bugsnax): possibly social anxiety?
Love these vids you make btw!
so happy to see meta runner here haha
Isn't her name Demi, not Scarlet?
@@ButteredBread201 yeah I realized :/
Snorpy def has some sort of social anxiety, if not then it must be some sort of PTSD from the grumpinati
Kaz Brekker has a limp and PTSD. He's from the Six of Crows books and Shadow and Bone on netflix. He's the best PTSD depiction ive ever come across.

For your next part of disabled characters, you can add Melody Moon from Andy’s Apple Farm as highly sensitive person (implied autistic) and Misty brightdawn with social anxiety
i raise:
Rex - Paw Patrol (paralyzed, uses a wheelchair)
Charger - Rubble & Crew (prosthetic leg)
Chase - Paw Patrol (PTSD)
there's also several other Paw Patrol characters that could be autistic or adhd (Ryder, Rocky, Marshall, maybe Cap'n Turbot, Moby, Everest)
Phil Coulson - Agents of Shield (prosthetic hand)
Leo Fitz - Agents of Shield (TBI, possibly autistic)
John Masters and Chase Masters - Storm Runners by Roland Smith (possible PTSD for both)
You need to put that guy in avatar that uses a wheelchair. Also, The Mole from Happy Tree Friends
I think a good example of a fictional character with DID is Fei, the main character from the Game Xenogears. The Game even went as far as to literally call it Dissociative identity disorder, which is insane for a Game released in 1998
I have a theory with Oliver, I don’t think he’s deaf and just mute. He seems to hear what Fizz is saying. But that’s just what I think.
I think if he could hear, fizz wouldn’t have done sign back and just talked to him but idk
He signed "thank you" to Oliver at the end solely because the kid would have trouble hearing fizzarolli
As a Warrior Cats fan, i'm really glad the series is getting recognition here. Great video! Also, Jayfeather is one of my favourite characters.

Cabby from Inanimate Insanity Invitational has short term memory loss!
Here's Some Suggestions!
Juke (The Amazing World Of Gumball) - Autism
Lammy (Happy Tree Friends) - Schizophrenia
Elma (Pretty Blood) - Blind In One Eye & PTSD
Audrey Antelope (Llama Llama) - Prosthetic Leg
Rex (Paw Patrol) - Wheelchair User
Horrid Henry (Horrid Henry) - Either Autism Or ADHD
Ocho Tootmorsel (The Amazing World Of Gumball) - IED (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) Or Either ADHD
That's All I Got, I Hope Of My Some Suggestions Appear In This Series! :)
Marc Spector (Marvel): he has DID (dissociative identity disorder)
some more disabled characters!
starflight (WOF) - blind
clay (WOF) - limp due to dragonbite viper attack
tamarin (WOF) - blind
briarlight(WC) - paralysed
jagged peak(WC) - limp from falling out a tree
cinderpelt(WC) - limp from being ran over
bluestar(WC) - implied dementia
hollyleaf(WC) - implied psychosis
snowbird(WC) - permanent limp
nightstar(WC) - asthma
scourge(WC) - stunted growth
frostpaw(WC) - infertility
moth flight(WC) - ADHD
mike(total drama) - DID
owen(total drama) - implied autistic?
Heya, may I make a request? If so,it's Mike from Total Drama! The disability he has is DID (but terribly written, also at that time it was still called MPD).
Another one I know (not sure if it is a disability but it does affect on the person's,well in this case object, life.) It's Suitcase from Inanimate insanity, they have psychosis.
I was also going to suggest Mike! It’s absolutely terrible representation unfortunately, but oh well.
@@therealTDjoUnfortunately there seems to be a lack of well done DID rep which is very unfortunate
@@ya_boi_yamori0117 yeah. With characters becoming more diverse, hopefully we will see better DID representation in media soon
It's been confirmed that if his character were made in 2023/24, it would be represented properly !!
Suitcase has psychosis? I would have never expected! Also I don’t know what psychosis is… time for a google search!
Fizz and Oliver both having Broken horns really makes sense, Fizz must’ve gone through the suffer. It will make the show better if they’re brothers❤
I didn’t think u would put Warrior Cats lol!
That one scene from Toko Fukawa wasnt anxiety/vasovagal episodes. Toko has hemophobia, which makes her uneasy/passing out due to the sight off blood
And it’s not canon, but Sierra (from Total drama world tour and all-stars) might have Obsessive love Disorder
the first one was so wholesome 😭
Charlie Browns "Janice": Leukemia
If they've not been done:
- Chai from Hi-fi Rush (arm injury that ends up getting amputated & replaced with a robotic prosthetic arm)
- Pretty much everyone in Finding Nemo & Finding Dory
Nemo = dwarfism in one fin
Marlin = PTSD (from the barracuda attack, & has a big fear of losing loved ones due to losing most of his children & wife)
Dory = Amnesia (which the film describes as "Short Term Memory Loss")
Gill = Possible PTSD or depression from whatever caused Gill to end up injured & put in a fish tank
The Tank Gang = Anxiety (Bloat, Gurgle) & OCD (Bubbles, Jacque) are noticeable in most of them, & Deb is delusional (belives her reflection is her sister & calls her Flo)
Bruce, Chum & Anchor = Addiction. Bruce also suffers psychotic episodes (possible Schizophrenia)
Gerald = A type of neurodivergent disorder; he's much more talkative than other pelicans & has high energy, & has a hyperfixiation with hearing stories from fish.
- Branch from Trolls (PTSD & Depression from losing his grandmother, & refuses to sing again in fear of him losing other loved ones, & has a paranoid personality due to said trauma.)
- Gorilla/Placid I.T from Miraculous (anxiety, autistic traits & is also mute...& certainly a better father to Adrien than Gabriel!)
There's plenty of others mentioned in the comments, too.
OmGgg yes !! I would love to see these
@@hyperschism you know these? COOL
Ideas for your future videos:
Professor Calculus (The Adventures Of Tintin) - Hard of hearing
Commander Shore (Stingray 1964) - Wheelchair user
Marina (Stingray 1964) - Mute
Brains (Thunderbirds 1965) - Stutter
Tommy (Tommy: The Movie) - Deaf, Dumb, Blind
