HEAT absolutely should be not be able to ricochet. Even if the fuse doesn't initiate, the cone and fuse should be broken and distorted so the only thing that hits the victim is some low velocity, low mass junk that's only a threat to softskins. "Modern" ('70s+) HEAT have shoulder switches on the rim that will set the round off even if it is a grazing hit.

That’s right, HEAT should be damaged after a ricochet and lose its properties. It's a shame the game doesn't have this detail.

one time i ricochet a fv4005 hesh shell off a t 34 turret and wiped out the bulldog behind it

Heat/heatfs rounds tend to bounce and still able to kill things in grb. Ive done this a dozen of times

Mine somehow ricochet twice. Fired a shot to the ground which bounced off into the underside of a tank which penned but manage to ricochet the inside roofing too.
