This is missing how to get to the point of popping out panel. I was ready to Hulk style yank it out but I decided to check other tutorials on for complete steps.

It would be helpful if you were giving accurate information. (2:58) The "8mm" bolts you are saying holds the factory radio are actually the bolts that hold the dash in place. If you pop out the cigarette lighter panel those bolts are exposed. They hold the mount in place. This is critical to getting the console out. (They do not aid in mounting the radio. The radio is held on by four bolts, two on each side, of the same mount. Same goes for the factory storage bin.)
You never covered the screws that hold in the climate controls. You just started plugging things back in. I would delete this video if I were you. It's good for a brief visual, but not helpful to the inexperienced.

This video is useful for removing a radio/climate control unit on a vehicle that has an aftermarket radio, but one a stock Civic there's way more to the removal. On an automatic transmission, you have to remove the black plastic ring around the shifter, the screws beneath it, the black panel surrounding the entire gray center console setup, The screws around that, the cigarette lighter unit, and then finally you can remove the two screws that mount the radio bezel in as shown in this video. Unfortunately, it's a lot of work before you can get to this stage lol.

My plug in connection for my defrost to vent was loose! Praise the whatever you do when you get happy. Still have not found the part # or proper name if you need to replace the (air mix control module) on a 2003 Civic SI? I found this when searching why my air mix was stuck on defrost! Leave those old buttons alone unless you REALLY need them!

In order to get the front radio and climate control bezel off, there are two 8mm bolts under the radio you need to remove. You have to take out the center console near the auto shifter to take those bolts off in order to access them. This video is very wrong.

Yeah this is garbage if you have automatic transmission Civic. That console does NOT come out easy like he shows.
Wasted two hours trying this crap.

Someone must have not replaced the bolts on the bottom when they reinstalled last time, totally messed up my dash thinking it was just hung up. Its freakong bolted in! This video skips the main step of pulling out the panel. Video not helpful.
