Dude, you have a great profile pic. You should try a career on stage. A guitar maybe?

Oi Mateus
"That looks so difficult on Violin"
boy it's not like it's easy on guitar
Honestly
Nah it is u just have to be Tim
you sure about that? i've been playing guitar for about 8yrs give or take, an def not 24/7. and i can play a few of thier songs. alot of it is hammer ons, hammer offs, and pinch harmonics. can literally do it one handed really if you practiced 20 or 30 hrs trying to do so. i'd say give things another try and maybe go with G.O.A.T. or Euphoria since those are far easier than alot of thier other tracks.
@@shawnmunck7412 lmao the only song that uses pinch harmonics is Nasty, and pretty sure its Jason Richardson doing em. Also, Don't forget hybrid-picking, sweep-picking and tapping either.
@@NoahWoodworth actually tim does pinch harmonics in G.O.A.T. for his licks. but yes, sweep picking, alternate picking, etc. are all good to learn as well. been writing instrumental music on guitar for almost a decade now but i am always looking to find new techniques to learn and pick up on. just like Tim said in an interview once(prob more than once lol) that most people dont care about the music side of making music nowadays. its all about money. for me, i dont make shit off of it. i write music just for the sake of writing music. the way it should be if you ask me. hbu? you sound well versed in music theory. how long you been playing for and what instrument do you focus on?
When Tim says “what!? How are you playing that?” Or “what the fuck was that?” It feels like he may finally understand how we feel watching him

“What?!” From Tim Henson is the biggest compliment ever

The cover of his part from the shred collab actually broke my brain as a guitarist that's confident in his ability to play most of their discography. The arrangement is insane. I admire the amount of hard work you put into all of your arrangements man!

That ukelele guy deserves recognition
It's good to see musicians fully appreciate each other.
Tim reacting to the dude in the ukulele is essentially any normal person watching Tim play guitar
Exactly. Imagine being great enough to blow Tim's mind...
This is the comment I came here for. Now I guess he, in some respects, knows how it feels.
Lmfao I thought the same thing
LMFAOO so true
Damn that guy was just so much more skilled and better than Tim. Amazing
Tim’s reaction to ukelele polyphia is like anyones reaction to the normal version of the song when they hear it for the first time, so funny to see him suprised

I was getting ready to same the same thing. I listen to tim and im saying what the fuck was that?...rewind. wtf?? Lol
He might give Tim some lessons 😅

"And she's alternate picking it 'like you're supposed to' cuz that's how I recorded it but I don't play it live" AHHH I'M DEAD
I don't get this, wouldn't that make it easier, to alternate pick? What does Tom do love instead, sweep pick? I guess his comment makes sense to me then. I don't know much about guitars, but I looked up alternate picking.
@@oicfas4523 Sweep picking it is so much easier, but still hard af
AHHH shut up
Does no one recognize that that's Sierra Hull??
That isn't just a "fan cover" that's another artist cover.
She's an awesome bluegrass mandolin player.
She makes that look easy because it is to her.
@@oicfas4523 not necessarily. Alternate picking a run that goes through multiple strings can get tricky. Because you may end up going opposite motion depending on the run.
Like if you’re in a note on string 3, you’re picking “up” for the next note, but it’s in string 4 (down) the motion of your picking technique is taking you AWAY from where you want to be for the next note in the run.
It’s why a lot of guitarists use what’s called economy picking. Basically picking with the thought in your mind of where you need to be next. You “economize” your motions so they’re more efficient.
But, your pick direction DOES have subtle tonal differences to the trained ear. Which is why he likely recorded it that way. Playing it live is just another beast entirely. You need to be like surgically precise to pull off an alternate picking run across multiple strings. Or write it in a way that compensates your motions by going “up” or “down” a string depending on where your current pick direction is.

Keep in mind that harmonica playing involves both inhaling and exhaling. You are basically just breathing in rhythm.

Tim, I think it's awesome to see an artist appreciate fans that are doing covers of their work, and not hitting them with copyright strikes. Music should always be a celebration of talent, and there are always going to be artists we all look up to and influenced by. I would think the music industry would be happy if we as creators did covers and gave credit to the original artists, buy the song from the artist to help them in their career, push awareness of artists/bands, and push sales!
