I don't have a super long history of playing Legend of Zelda games but I love Zelda as a character, especially since playing BOTW and ToTK. I definitely have my eyes on her new game so I can experience playing her too! She is such a cool character with deep and interesting lore.
I will correct you on ONE point. Princess Peach has had a game before, but it's been YEARS and hasn't aged... the best... using emotions as powers probably isn't the best thing to do nowadays, on the other hand it could be used to show how emotions are power and can be used as such. Pick your poison.
Usually the Light Arrows are used to defeat GanonDORF, not regular Ganon. Exception being only Breath of the Wild, I think. Ganondorf is the Gerudo incarnation of the Evil Lord. Ganon is the Demon incarnation. Sometimes Dorf can turn into a beast form which is then called Ganon. I don't know why it's like this, nor do I know why the Light Arrows are mostly used against Dorf and not Ganon. It's a bit confusing.
@@mainbeach Oh yeah, original NES had you using Silver Arrows against Ganon. I guess it makes sense with all the Christian symbolism the original title had.
Here's my DLC characters ideas for part 2 of Disney Smash Bros *DLC 1* Donald Duck Peter Pan Wreck-It Ralph Maui Simba Quasimodo *DLC 2* Goofy Elsa The Beast Jafar Hercules Baloo *DLC 3* Winnie the Pooh Ariel Baymax Pinocchio Tarzan Raya
Kid your parents played the series in the 1980s we know who Zelda is, lol There are a few games where Zelda doesn't appear (Link's Awakening for example) so she is replaceable by definition. New game looks cute, hope its a bit harder than the Peach game. I was looking forward to it but lost interest after the demo because it was so easy.
My parents have never played video games and Zelda wasn't a popular title in my household... so I genuinely didn't know much about her. Really my only knowledge of her came from Smash. And yeah I've heard of Zelda but wanted to learn more. I haven't played those titles yet but when I do, I wonder if her not being in it will impact my enjoyment. And that's fair regarding the demo, could be catering to a different audience I guess!
@mainbeach yeah it doesn't have to Dark Souls but Mario Wonder fir example struck a great balance between easy and challenging enough. And yes my parents were not into games at all, but I was making a joke how a 10 year old who played in 1988 could be your parent. No hard feelings. I was a bit younger than 10 in 88 but not that much younger, haha! Good luck on playing the old school Zeldas. There is some great stuff there!
@@specialnewb9821 According to the Nintendo Life review you'll be able to toggle Hero Mode and it's supposedly challenging! Not sure if you were able that mode during your demo. Oh I totally missed that joke oop 😅Any suggestions of which older titles to play? While making this video I was really interested in Skyward Sword!
A Link to the Past (or a Link Between Worlds if you want something similar but a bit newer), The Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask (TOoT/MM) are the other legendary titles. Breath of the Wild probably ranks here too but obviously not older one! Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks and Tears of the Kingdom are more mixed. Twilight Princess manga is surprisingly good and I really like the game. Link's Awakening is pretty fun but is a side story with a great OST.
Zelda is not a good person. Forever using Link to pretend she is getting kidnapped but we all know the truth. Zelda is in love with Gannon. She runs off with Gannon for a fling and then cries "kidnapping" when she gets caught.
that title had me dying great vid 😭😭😭
thank you so much!!
LMAO the title alone. Love it.
based off of a true thought 😅
@@mainbeach "Nah cause who is she?!"
Great video. I can imagine how long it took to edit this. The real q is, when will we get a Ganondorf game?
Thank you!! And you're onto something with that Ganondorf game 👀

GAWK GAWK GAWK 👅

Totally agree!! I need to actually play through BOTW still but glad you're also eyeing Echoes!
