Sherri's Life thank you Sherri! It’s so frustrating 🤨. Appreciate you watching and go check out Tammy Anderson video. It blows this out of the galaxy !
I do not work with resin but like to watch people that do. Really liked seeing how to brought the negative space back in, I honesty thought it was lost at that point so I'm very happy when my assumptions are wrong. Beautiful piece.
Thanks for watching! And your comment! I thought it was lost at several points too! haha glad you hung in there..always learning how to do better next time for sure ;)
Awesome video!! Thanks for the lesson. Picked up a tablet a yard sale that has a thick recessed glass top with lighting coming from the edges and thinking of filling in with epoxy. This is a sweet idea and video to get me started,
Wow! I just watched another resin painting tutorial and I wasn't really impressed. This project was definitely magical and it satisfied the artist in me to watch!
I am new subscriber! This was a really beautiful collaboration between you and Tammy Anderson!! You too just knocked it out the ball paryk !! I love yours but Tammy Anderson really went way further outand her piece it awesome but yours is beautiful! Both you too aI am really proud of each of you ‘non thanks Tammy
Thanks Tam for sharing your beautiful sky. As a child on warm summer night in Alaska the sky would light up in array of colors. Your piece remind of a peace time in my life. Your piece is so relaxing with floating sky. I love it!
Deloris Bledsoe thank you so very much!!! Your comment totally made my day. I’m working on others with more aura borealis look I hope anyway. Love that this brings back memories for you ! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so very much! I do love creating these abstract cosmic pieces. They are always so much better in person as you can see the layers and depth much better. Appreciate the subscribe!
I just watched your video and subscribed. I am so happy about your collaboration with Tammy Anderson because she is the one who referred her viewers to your channel. I a so happy she did!! Looking forward to seeing more of you and your artwork ❤
Not only is the piece beautiful,, but I really love the ‘style’ you have! I was tense prior to watching, but the music and your voice were very relaxing. Not too much talking, not overly demonstrating things such as multiple mixing of the paints. Thank you for sharing your art and demonstrating your process!
Wow Tams, did this ever turn out beautiful?!! I really like how created so many aspects to this. There is lacing and cells and there is some almost leopard spots to it! And the colors are incredible! I bet this weighed a lot more after the 6th layer of resin! Incredible job dear! 💐🎨🥰
Thank you! Tammy Anderson blew mine out of the galaxy though..i can't wait to do one with planets next..love her so much. thank you for being always kind and supportive !
Love, Love, Love this, you both - working on a collab two off the best in acrylic's, resin etc. Tam I wanted to let you know my last video when to my # 1 in less then one hour, exciting. ❤
I've only just gotten into resin this year, and I'm planning a reading nook area in my upstairs hallway, and a galaxy themed table will be perfect for it. Thanks for showing this, I haven't done this before and I was wondering how I might do this. I do love how your galaxy turned out :D.
I have followed your advice and painted the first layer, but even though I waited over a week, when I add the resin it seems to have areas where it does not seem to be sticking to the painted board, almost forming small pools. Any ideas why. I smooth it all over and then can seen it forming the smaller holes and also not wanting to cover the edges, despite regularly smoothing over.
Hello! In my experience when that happens it’s because of contamination on the surface or falling onto the resin like dust or any oily residue etc. what did you paint your board with?
@@TamsCreativeCorner Hi and thanks for your speedy reply. I painted with a waterbased paint but left it to dry for a week. It seemed completely dry and at first the resin went on a dream. However, then the fish eyes began to appear and I kept smoothing and heating. This morning areas where there are lots of pit holes so I am going to sand and reapply the resin. I did some ocean boards, and the same thing happened but only with the ones I had pre painted and then with acryllics. Very annoying when it happens as wastes resin and time consuming.
beautiful art piece, i m planning to do space theme resin project for my gf birthday present, can i ask you whats glitter glue u using? how to make them? or is it avaiable pre made?
I am a new subscriber and glad to do so after viewing your tutorial . Would you be so kind to assist in every layer how much cure time should be, I mean how long we have to wait for one layer to another layer??
Thank you! It depends on the resin you use but for this project I let it sit over night before pouring a new layer. But complete cure time 48 hours once done. Hope this helps
@@TamsCreativeCorner thanks for your kind assistance. Please make me correct if I am wrong as per my understanding we should wait 24-48 hours for every single layer to let it cure then pour resin on the first layer and so on... And how much resin quantity do you have taken for this object?? As a beginner how should we calculate resin quantity for any big article like ocean table or clock??

Wonderful piece..did u let each layer dry one day in between the next layer?
Sharon Joyner Griffith thank you! At least one day yes!
What if you want to draw a moon on there do you do it before you pour the clear resin with the glitter or after 🤔
Hi Star! Yes, I would add it before my final clear coat!

WHEN DO YOU APPLY THE WOOD SEALER? BEFORE OR AFTER PIANT? PLEASE, SOMEONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME.
Jas i always deal my wood before painting!
I would keep the color simple with 2-3 tones. This look more like a tie dye viewed I can’t associate it with galaxy
The technique and skills are great, but the colors... the combination is terrible
Estimated dry times between layers?
Love it
Beautiful work.
Beautiful!!!
Thanks so much!
