Once you hear this song after hearing the entirety of The Human Condition, you'll realize it's a mfing masterpiece of an outro to an album. This song sends shivers down my spine. Edit: At the end of this track, Jon has a choir and all the songs throughout the album are all melded into one final eargasm of an outro. He Is the Same is a track on the album, that's why it's capitalized.
I wish you had listened to the whole album before this song!!!! Its like watching Endgame before the other ones, still a fire movie but even better after catching up on the other ones in the MCU
My mother did that and still hasn’t watched all the movies. She never showed any interest in the marvel movies but then got excited and showed me, “me,” the trailer for endgame when it was coming out. And I just looked at her dumbfounded. How could she be excited for a movie she hadn’t even seen part 1 for? Yet I took her to the theater to go see it anyways.
There is so so much to appreciate here... The soloist in the beginning of the outro is Sheldon Ray who is a friend of Jon's since his youth and at the end of the song the choir is Andraé Crouch Choir which is the group that was on Michael Jacksons Man in the Mirror. The lyrics/references from the outro are also added in and some words/phrases are capitalized to show that they are titles or lines of earlier songs on the album (He is the Same, Overwhelming...) Also this song, which wraps up the album, ends with a very final beeping noise, the same of which, starts the album on the track He is the Same creating a full circle effect. Musical genius.
The reason why “He is the Same” is capitalized is Bc they are singing the song title of He is the same from the same album “The Human Condition”. This song perfectly wraps up and brings together all the sounds and production Jon makes throughout the album into one perfect present for us. Definitely recommend listening to the whole album on your own and then re-listening to “Hand of God”. It’s nothing short of a blessing!
I would give everything to hear this song for the first time. its just a masterpiece. especially when you pick out every reference to the previous songs on the album
I remember this being his outro at the live concert. there was about 2 maybe 3 hundred people there and as he was walking out with the end chorus going off everyone just looked stunned. Then when the curtains closed and the music faded away we all just looked at each other like wtf did we just experience and since then every time I come back to this song i still get those same chills. IMO this is one of his greatest songs ever made. Outro was perfect. I have a video if anyone's interested.
It's crazy, I've been listening to Jon for plenty of years and even with him on replay all the time I never get sick of his music, it just doesn't get old because it's so good. Such a musical genius, always feeling new emotions with every listen to his songs.
fun fact about the album and this song 7:20 every song on the album has its own cover art and they all have that beatmaker somewhere in the art. Also the choir at the end of the song is the same choir that did Man in the Mirror
All of his songs from The Human Condition are in Hand of God. To add the intricacy of this song he had a real choir and one of his old mates to add more peace and holiness to it. If you see the behind-the-scenes of this song you can feel genuine love for the production and passion for his music.
This whole album is beautiful..it’s about the human condition (hence the fact that it’s called The Human Condition) and each song talks about a different “condition”..but then at the end of the album it’s saying “it’s all okay because your whole life is in the Hand of God”…masterpiece of an album
Yesssiirrr and in the end of Hand of God when it all ends you hear the camera/mic record button for one last time, the same sound used in the beginning track He is the Same
So glad you did a reaction to this song, its my favorite song by jon and possibly of all time because of how much production, meaning and just genius that went behind it. The lyrics hit deep for me as well, I even got a tattoo for this song
I’m still waiting for someone to convince me that there’s any single other song in existence that is better sonically. The sound of this song has never been topped for me.
I have been waiting for this moment ever since your first Jon Bellion reaction. I always new this day would come. So hype that the day is NOW! At some point after all the Jon requests are done, you will need to give the album a listen to hear him tie every song into the final completion that is “Hand of God”. “Did he miss?!?!” Awe hell naw! I knew you were playing!
I think it's really hard to FULLY appreciate this track if you haven't heard the whole album. There are little details, like the track click at then end of this song that connects to the click at the beginning of the first track (He Is the Same) that make sense and are so special. Once you hear the whole album, every line in the outro is so exciting to hear. When The Human Condition came out, I listened to it in one go, this song brought me to tears! It was so insane to hear how materful Jon could be, the choir, the soloist! It felt like magic!
The main back synth sounding beat is actually orchestrated from the choir that sings at the end as well. The work that went into this album is mind blowing. It’s straight chills, do a whole album review!
He combines most of the songs in The Human Condition Into the end of the song. Songs like He Is the Same, Guillotine, NewYork Soul PT. II, All Time Low, and 80's Film. It truly is a masterpiece
The “He Is the Same” is capitalized the way it is because it’s the title of the opening track on The Human Condition album that this song comes from. The whole end of Hand of God pays tribute to the entire album to just listened to before reaching this song as the closing song of the album. An absolute masterpiece.
“He is he Same” is capitalized because he is referring to the first track on the album called “He is the Same”. Each of the lines in this outro reference a line from a song on the rest of the album.
I know this video's old. I don't care. This is one of my favorite tracks from Jon Bellion. It's uniquely beautiful, but also a culmination of all the work he put into this particular album. Right when I found this album, my roommate's mother committed s******, and we listened to this song on repeat on the way to her funeral. We wanted to remember all the best things about her. She was very faith-oriented and the minute I heard this song, I thought of her. I will never listen to this song without thinking of her.
Loved jon when i first heard his hit "All Time Low" then dug in and just thought how much i love this dude and know how he did a track with Chris Sabbat AKA Vegeta and Piccolo and i think he even got featured in Dragan Ball Super, and i think he did work on BLACKPINKS ROSÉ "On The Ground" and I believe that the reason why "Is" and the "Same" is in caps because of the scripture saying that GOD is the Same as YESTERDAY, TODAY, and TOMORROW.. Hencing the lyrics as "NOTHING HAS CHANGED. HE IS THE SAME" and love how in the back he has the ALL TIME LOW in the background which can be as a represent as a looping the whole album so when it goes back to track 1 its gonna be ALL TIME LOW
This song is easily one of the best songs by him. I actually had the pleasure of seeing this live at probably the height when he had the tour for the album years back. Was an absolutely incredible moment. Wanna talk about having chills? That's in probably the top 3 things I've witnessed.
"Is" and "Same" are either capitalized because they're a song name, or it's a typo. I am so happy to see this reaction on yt bro, definitely been waiting for a reaction for this song ever since the first Jon Bellion song reaction.
few cool facts: the choir he used is the same one Michael Jackson used numerous times. He Is The Same is capitalized because it isn’t talking about God, hes referring to his track “He Is The Same”, so it’s capitalized. there’s a beep at the very end of this track, the same beep is played at the very beginning of the track before the first song “He Is The Same” starts, to make the album piece together and “run together”.
Just wait until you listen to The Human Condition as a whole album after these reactions. I only wish you could have experienced that outro like the rest of us did with the context of the whole album and the shock factor of hearing a mashup of his entire album into one track
The beep at the end of the track is actually the beep in the beginning of the album's first track "He is the same." Signaling the beginning and end of the track.
Recommendation: Stromae. He's a Belgian artist. Primarily the new single Santé. Also Formidable, Alors on Dance. Just to get you started. He is phenomenal.
Doesn't make any sense to listen to this song if you didn't listen to the entire album before, the outro of the song brings tears to your eyes after listening to the rest of the album, and hearing bits of the songs on the album in the choir, it really feels like a movie ending in the most epic and beautiful fashion.
God faithfully invites us back to the way, so we can try even after we lost our way. If I am unfaithful I don't know what I would do if I didn't know God still wants me back in love the same.
I honestly wish you wouldn’t have listened to this without listening to the whole album front to back because it would’ve made you appreciate it even more with the lines from the other songs… this is the outdo to the album and it’s cohesive with the rest of the album
Yo Ernest big fan towards the end of the video you were talking about how you think he P some of it together there’s actually a little behind the scenes video for this specific songs and he actually had a whole ass choir seeing that end and another person singing and he was kind of like you know telling them what to do and where to do it it really pushing them it’s definitely good video for you to watch
He Is the Same is a track on the album, that's why it's capitalized.
yes sir. it NEEDS to be done. This song as an Outro, might be one of the best Outros of all time, imo
Same bro. Literally get chills every single time
And it’s actually the same choir that did “Man in the Mirror” for MJ
I wish you had listened to the whole album before this song!!!! Its like watching Endgame before the other ones, still a fire movie but even better after catching up on the other ones in the MCU
can confirm because I watched endgame before all of the other movies
My mother did that and still hasn’t watched all the movies. She never showed any interest in the marvel movies but then got excited and showed me, “me,” the trailer for endgame when it was coming out. And I just looked at her dumbfounded. How could she be excited for a movie she hadn’t even seen part 1 for? Yet I took her to the theater to go see it anyways.
Dont do that to me Ernest. "Do we have our first miss?" Then seeing Hand Of God by Jon Bellion?! I thought NO WAY.
Gotta keep the spiceeeee 😩😩
I was ready to throw hands lmao
LITERALLY
Same reaction here. Well played. 😂
I clicked ready to throw my entire body, not just hands 😂😂😂😂😂
There is so so much to appreciate here... The soloist in the beginning of the outro is Sheldon Ray who is a friend of Jon's since his youth and at the end of the song the choir is Andraé Crouch Choir which is the group that was on Michael Jacksons Man in the Mirror. Been admiring his work for the past 7 years and I am still in awe of everything that he's written for himself, this man is something else dude
Well said 🙌
Thanks for all of the info!!
Easily Jon’s best song. A true masterpiece. One of the best outro tracks to an album of all time in my opinion
Outro ending is insane man! Heavenly emmaculate vibes. It's like your ascending in a beautiful choir of amazingness. The way he refers to other songs
Fr it was done perfectly
Facts
ya gotta listen to the whole album before listening to this one again.
The fact that I’ve been listening to Jons music since 2015 and still hear new sounds in his songs everytime is fucking insane.
That’s the same for me 2015 as we’ll still hear something new everytime
I finally heard the low's in the ending choir section
Same here ❤❤
The whole second act of the song is a combination of almost all the songs in the album. Absolute masterpiece.no doubt You’ll Change that 10 to a 12
Most of reaction videos miss this. Kinda hurts me
The reason why “He is the Same” is capitalized is Bc they are singing the song title of He is the same from the same album “The Human Condition”. This song perfectly wraps up and brings together all the sounds and production Jon makes throughout the album into one perfect present for us. Hits crazy and the meaning is crazy
Fax
a reaction to the "making of" videos from jon would be sick
Yesyesyes
Definitely yes
Yes please!
One of my favorite songs ever, as a song itself and an outro to the album. I LOVE how the choir sings different lyrics to songs on the album
I would give everything to hear this song for the first time. its just a masterpiece. especially when you pick out every reference to the previous songs on the album
i was on a college field trip going into NYC. I could see the skyline as I heard this song for the first time. It felt like i was living in a movie.
@@mcnizzzle3961 one of those rare, awesome moments in life where you feel like the main character of a music video and all eyes are on you. 😎
The "BEEP" at the end is the same sound the album starts with.
Never realised that. damm
It took me so long to realize this. Because I listened to this album on repeat, and just thought it was a double beep.
I remember this being his outro at the live concert. there was about 2 maybe 3 hundred people there and as he was walking out with the end chorus going off everyone just looked stunned. Then when the curtains closed and the music faded away we all just looked at each other like wtf did we just experience and since then every time I come back to this song i still get those same chills. would love to see

Always here for jon this is incredible the ending is beautiful ...amazing reaction thanku so much love and God bless x
this album and a few tracks from glory sound prep are my instant play when i'm in the mood
Jon is brilliant and soooo detailed that the very first and very last sound you hear (that little ding) is the same……freakin’ genius
Wow
I agree with all the comments I’ve seen, u gotta listen to the whole album and then come back to this track. It’s a whole new experience
Even the beep at the start and end of the album, gives a whole new perspective once you've heard it all
This whole album is beautiful..it’s about the human condition (hence the fact that it’s called The Human Condition) and each song talks about a different “condition”..but then at the end of the album it’s saying “it’s all okay because your whole life is in the Hand of God”…masterpiece of an album
Jon is so talented as an artist, producer etc just so sooo much talented within that man
I just realized that the last sound in the song is the same one that the album started with ☺️
when ernest sang "sometimes i lose my way" that sounded nice actually : O
He is the same is the first track I believe off of this album. He brings in other parts of songs from the album during this song
Yesssiirrr and in the end of Hand of God when it all ends you hear the camera/mic record button for one last time, the same sound used in the beginning track He is the Same
You should definetely look at the Making of the Hand of God behind the scenes. Its amazing how all of it comes together !
So glad you did a reaction to this song, its my favorite song by jon and possibly of all time because of how much production, meaning and just genius that went behind it. The lyrics hit deep for me as well, I even got a tattoo for this song
Okay, I’m officially a Jon Bellion fan. That ls for
Sharing and reacting.
All the lyrics are lines from the other songs on the album. Its the perfect outro for an album. A collage/recap of everything.
I’m still waiting for someone to convince me that there’s any single other song in existence that is better sonically. The sound of this song has never been topped for me.
Yayyyy ty patreon 😌 love to see more jon

Yessir!!! So fucking true
Gotta listen to the whole album to appreciate this song. Can’t wait to see the The Human Condition full album review video
I think it's really hard to FULLY appreciate this track if you haven't heard the whole album.

Love all of the Jon reactions!! In my top 3 fav artists always
He combines most of the songs in The Human Condition Into the end of the song. Songs like He Is the Same, Guillotine, NewYork Soul PT. II, All Time Low, and 80's Film. It truly is a masterpiece
Certainly don't regret donating this song on one of your request Thursdays.
Love you man keep up the amazing work ❤
Thanks for doing that. The reaction is such a keeper.
Some of the lyrics are capitalized because they're the names of the other songs in the album!!
Am ABSOLUTELY loving all the Jon lately!!
Glad to see this here…this is one of the best songs I have ever heard from this artist…amazing song…a masterpiece extraordinaire…hits completely…
Been waitin years for this one 🙌🏼
i am incapable of listening to end of hand of god without bursting into tears
The “He Is the Same” is capitalized the way it is because it’s the title of the opening track on The Human Condition album that this song comes from. The whole end of Hand of God pays tribute to the entire album to just listened to before reaching this song as the closing song of the album. An absolute masterpiece.
We can put that in the bank all day
“He is he Same” is capitalized because he is referring to the first track on the album called “He is the Same”. Each of the lines in this outro reference a line from a song on the rest of the album.
Dude nice, I was waiting for this one
Finally!! Been waiting on this one!!
The Is and Same are capitalized because “He Is the Same” is the name of the first song on the album.
Let’s gooo I’ve been waiting for this one forecer
@TheThirdErnest the choir singing at the end of the track is the same choir that sang “Man in the mirror” by Michael Jackson
This song hits hard, the end overture gives the craziest vibes!
I know this video's old. I don't care. This is one of my favorite tracks from Jon Bellion. It's uniquely beautiful, but also a culmination of all the work he put into this particular album.

One of these days you gotta listen to this album in full on stream
The reason “He Is the Same” is capitalized is because it’s the name of another song in his album which this song is the conclusion of
This song is easily one of the best songs by him. I actually had the pleasure of seeing this live at probably the height when he had the tour for the album years back. Was an absolutely incredible moment. Wanna talk about having chills? That's in probably the top 3 things I've witnessed.
The "He Is The Same" is all capitalized because it's the song title of the first track on the album.
if you’re ever having a bad day, no you’re not. you just haven’t listened to “Hand of God” yet
"Is" and "Same" are either capitalized because they're a song name, or it's a typo. I am so happy to see this reaction on yt bro, definitely been waiting for a reaction for this song ever since the first Jon Bellion song reaction.
I get chills every time the ending hits!
Interesting fact: the album loops. The ending beep in this song is the beginning of 'he's still the same'.
He Is The Same is capitalized because it was the first track off of the album
few cool facts: the choir he used is the same one Michael Jackson used numerous times.
He Is The Same is capitalized because it isn’t talking about God, hes referring to his track “He Is The Same”, so it’s capitalized.
there’s a beep at the very end of this track, the same beep is played at the very beginning of the track before the first song “He Is The Same” starts, to make the album piece together and “run together”.
he's holding an mp3 beat maker in the cover of all of his songs in this album
Just wait until you listen to The Human Condition as a whole album after these reactions. I only wish you could have experienced that outro like the rest of us did with the context of the whole album and the shock factor of hearing a mashup of his entire album into one track

BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
"He Is the Same" is capitalized because it's referring to the first track on the album
You should check out the vid of him making these songs - incredible
Recommendation: Stromae. He's a Belgian artist. Primarily the new single Santé. Also Formidable, Alors on Dance. Just to get you started. He is phenomenal.
Doesn't make any sense to listen to this song if you didn't listen to the entire album before, the outro of the song brings tears to your eyes after listening to the rest of the album, and hearing bits of the songs on the album in the choir, it really feels like a movie ending in the most epic and beautiful fashion.
Fun fact- the choir in the background is the same choir that performed with Michael Jackson! 😊
No one here talking about "lusts gives tries" = "loves jesus christ"?
God faithfully invites us back to the way, so we can try even after we lost our way. If I am unfaithful I don't know what I would do if I didn't know God still wants me back in love the same.
You need to listen to the entire album to get the later part of the song. You'll appreciate it more afterwards
You should react to the behind the scenes videos so inspiring dawg
definition of a good thumbnail. had me fooled for sure
This song and ma joint are easily his best songs production wise
I knew this one was comin
Andy mineo and Jon bellion made a song together before I bet he didn’t know this it’s called rat race it’s on the uncomfortable album
You really gotta listen to the whole album then listen to this again to fully appreciate it.
Jon Bellion and logic - welcome to forever
Yo Ernest how could they have let you heard this before listening to the whole album ?? All good, still a masterpiece at the end of day 🔥
For sure gotta do a full album review
I honestly wish you wouldn’t have listened to this without listening to the whole album front to back because it would’ve made you appreciate it even more with the lines from the other songs… this is the outdo to the album and it’s cohesive with the rest of the album
Fire reaction!
Gotta listen to the whole album now
Yes sir, saucy! ☝🏾🔥
my man out here with a 11Six hat!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Dude, Yellowcard??!! LOVE IT!!
Such a big record. There's a bts video if anyone is interested
im pretty sure the He in He Is the Same isn't talking about God its about Jon, so maybe it's just capitalized because it's a song title
Listen to the whole album my man
you should watch all the making of videos that jon has on his youtube account they are truely amazing
80s Films ❤🔥
Lol I remember trying to tell you about this track over a year ago. This one a masterpiece, didn’t you listen the whole album awhile back though?
that beep at the end is the same beep at the starting of the first track “he is the same” idk just thought that was cool
Do Lawrence, from Beautiful Mind. Sub Label that Jon Bellion headed. They're super unique and fresh
