Jon Bellion has a lot of really great acoustic performances like this one. I would personally recommend stupid deep, but he has a whole catalogue of thought provoking pieces similar to this. Love the reaction & analysis! :)
Parts like 5:18 is something Jon does on a lot of his tracks, pretty much since he started making music. He loves to use his voice to add another layer to the song, he's done so much with his voice alone like: beat boxing, recreating instrument sounds, harmonization's, etc. His voice is arguably his most versatile tool.

Jon Bellion is one of my favorite artists for everything you pointed out here. He writes his own lyrics, sings, raps, makes his own beats. There are so many phenomenal Jon Bellion songs the guy is super talented I highly recommend you start where I started with All Time low Specifically the acoustic acapella version is really just musically amazing it was really something beautiful about taking a song and stripping it down to the fundamental essence of what it's about Really hope you do a lot more Jon Bellion he's fantastic and this video was awesome thanks for this

Heard this song on a friend's playlist, and it's why I started listening to Jon. "The Human Condition" is a great album.
