- Briefing, taxi and departure of flight BOX512, a B777F, from the small airport in Bergamo, northern Italy. Captain Joe Moser and FO Alexander Klatt begin their 11hr flight to Hong Kong. (Video monetized by PiotsEye.tv)
The sound of those engines is unique
Damn guys that was a straight up runway incursion 😂
It really was.
🙈
So much respect for all pilots who take responsibility for these flights.
The camera under the aircraft is wonderful...breathtaking. Thanks.
Great camera at the front gear!
nice video
Captain Joe Moser retired earlier this year....Thanks for the memories Joe!👏
Artful Dodger shame for the industry to lose him! He seemed like such a cool guy to work with, very serious, but very enthusiastic towards the younger crew members working their way up.
yeah sure but on the other hand its a chance for a young first officer to become a captain :)
Well, this is just sad.
If I remember correctly he was not only a captain but chief pilot of Aerologic! Definitely a loss for the company but maybe he will stay in a different capacity :)
Schaschlik345 he's still working there just not active at flying anymore
Wow what a great shot from underneath the aircraft!
Beautifully executed
Thoroughly enjoyed this excellent video👏🏻 Thank you!
Shoutout for my beautiful Bergamo city Airport... 2°nd for number or arrival and departures and the most puntual airport of Italy!!!!
@7:56 Awesome Gear Up Camera Shot

Looks like Captain joe is on the controls!
Video very, very nice! Realy good cameras under airplane and interior too.
I’m surprised this guy is posting a video of his runway incursion...
excelente
That FO is hot!

My question is how and from who do you take authorization to place a foreign object (gopro camera) in the front wheel well? Who carries the responsibility if its shaken off during takeoff or landing and potentially get sucked in one of the engines, or hurts a tire?
Uy que piloto mas sexy😍
5:30, had a good chuckle, lolol.
frequency piloteyetv please and which satellite
Is it an issue that CDU is entered “Flaps 5” but actual flap setting is 15?
Wow well spotted! I'm not certain for Boeing aircraft, but on the Airbus the entered flap and trim settings on the takeoff perf page don't actually "do" anything - they're just for the pilots reference. Takeoff config warning alerts will always sound if flaps aren't physically set to at least 5 (or Flaps 1+f on Airbus) regardless of what is in the CDU. So I'm assuming he just didn't feel it was necessary to manually type in Flaps 15. I'm pretty impressed you spotted that!
AviationHub Thank you so much for the information! Yeah probably they used EFB to calculate takeoff V-speeds and felt unnecessary to enter the correct flaps in the CDU. I’m not a pilot so just I was just guessing.
I think maybe this is a different clip from other filming perhaps? As the trim figure and v2 speed also does not agree with what the captain calls. Also looks like 07R appears on the takeoff ref page. Great video though
Yeah you're right, this plane ends up in Hong Kong - and they take off from runway 07R on the return leg. That's where it's from!
Good
The camera filming the bottom of the plane make the plane look so small.
Can someone explain please, I'm not understanding and I'm probably the wrong one, cause everyone is talking about runway incursion.
But they've been given an hold short and ask for confirmation when they still are on hold short, why does the Atc says " you are already on the runway"? At least is what I can see at 6:14
It wasn't a runway incursion because they weren't on the runway. Look at 0:44 you can see the F holding point on the end of 10. That's where they were. The controller just said "you're already on the runway" for some reason. There was no incoming traffic they were approaching the holding point so tower should have granted line up and/or takeoff clearance BEFORE the F.O. had to ask if they needed to physically stop the plane (which would be a waste of time and fuel obviously). The controller wasn't paying enough attention, and there was no runway incursion, despite the many comments. Hope that kinda makes sense!
AviationHub, what you’re saying makes completely sense to me , I’m totally with you and I thought the same. Just couldn’t understand all the comments about “runway incursion”, as there was a mistake by pilots, which obviously never happened
Thanks
Luca Gugliotta the captain flying is Joe Moser, a (now-retired) but exceptionally experienced and talented pilot. He is a constant display of professionalism.
Don’t take any RUclips comment about procedure seriously, unless you know for sure that they are a qualified pilot. There’s a lot of aviation enthusiasts on RUclips, but “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing”. This includes me! I’m just a student.
Leonardo DiCaprio?
5:15 did they forgot to remove one of that breakers at the right main gear??
Julian Jesse differential brakes for stay away to the 37 on the right ..I guess
hope one day international flights For ASIA starts from orio al serio

It was a tragic accident, RIP. Let us never talk about it again.
Anyone knows the First Officer's instagram account?

Yeah, runway incursion lol, and didn't care about it.
It wasn't a runway incursion - Tower cleared the aircraft to Foxtrot holding point. Upon approaching a runway holding point tower must either give clearance to a) Hold short (for incoming traffic) b) Line up and wait (for departing traffic), or C) Takeoff. As they approached the holding point they received no communication, so yes, *they should have stopped* but it is tower's job to give a command here, it is not the role of the pilots to remind tower "hey we're here what now?!" - they knew there was no incoming traffic, and they received takeoff clearance long before they entered the runway. It was like 80/20 ATC/pilot error IMO
@@AviationHubOfficial are you serious? Anyway, I didn't say who was the fault. I said it is a runway incursion. And it is. "twr, we are at F holding short..." "you are already on the runway". How do you call this?
@@AviationHubOfficial they didn't receive t/o clearence before they entered...
It was rwy incursion 100% . If youre cleared to hold F, you hold F no matter what... either you get confirmed or not.
The strange thing is that 99% of the traffic in BGY depart and lands in the opposite direction. In the same video it's possible to see an aircraft going east at 0:16.
Why did the take off in the opposite direction?
Che inglese di merda che abbiamo 😂

Didn't reply the full atc clearence and at the end forgot to set the trasponder code ..... And didn't monitor the taxiing progress ...
Actually Bergamo Airport (LIME) is really strange for someone who never flown to it... Holding shorts are not like other airports
Hold short of F.
Did he say to line up? I will confirm
Yes hold short of foxtrot, oh you're already in the runway.
In bergamo. Wankers
who is the co pilot?
Check description.
CARLETTOOOO
Re: “Runway Incursion” comments: Tower cleared the aircraft to Foxtrot holding point. Upon approaching a runway holding point tower must either give clearance to a) Hold short (for incoming traffic) b) Line up and wait (for departing traffic), or C) Takeoff. As they approached the holding point they received no communication, so they should have stopped. However the situational awareness of these two is off the charts - there was no traffic in sight, or even on frequency. The F.O. should not have had to clarify what they should be doing, and I think tower *knew* that, so proceeded to protect himself with the “you’re already on the runway” call.... They weren’t. They received T/O clearance before they entered the active runway, nor was there any incoming traffic, so while it may be dodgy practice, no "runway incursion" here.
This is my personal view and I’m not a qualified pilot.
I'm sorry, but I think you are wrong. At the moment the pilot ask to confirm line up the nose wheel is already rolling near the RWY AHEAD marking. These markings are located shortly after the runway entry. Runway begins where these yellow douple stripes cross the taxiway. They already seemed to passed that before ATC allows to line up.
You're wrong if you check the 04:49, the the holding point is before the 90-degree turn. They crossed the holding point without clearence.
The Co-Pilot is now flying for Emirates
CuzItzAless really ?

pilots and ATCs were certified and should have been certified for their english skill along with their flying skill set. Being subtitled to a communication with pilots and ATCs is disrespectful. If it was a horrible English enough to be subtitled , they should first of all need to understand communication is critical as they're responsible for hundrends of souls and improve their english skill set.
Or i can take this as Educational.
Kaung Myat Thu the video is clearly subtitled because the quality of radio communication isn’t very good and it can be hard to understand what they’re saying exactly, especially when they’re using specific terms or stuff like that. nothing to do with their english skills.
vale s I do agree with radio quality isnt the best, but it still keep clearly what the talkers accents like and what are they trying to say.
Stef you still dont see what i'm trying to say. I wont argue with ya.
Stef alrighty
Subtitles for the American viewers; Americans have trouble with accented English because they are exposed to so little diversity in English.
