Essentially yes, and honestly if it does then it does. I know a guy in Spain is running the same turbo and he’s had his on for about 10k miles now. He’s 93oct with meth at 32psi with 13 degrees of timing

Yes you usually should always replace them. If you are in a pinch I would say at least do the O rings and exhaust manifold gasket
