Thanks. I haven't done a motherboard upgrade yet, but have done cpu and gpu upgrades. Now I am noticing issues when it comes to input lag and few minor tweaks, so this helps me figure out my next steps.
Seems like I already made good choices since I own #1 and #2. My dark hero is somewhat disappointing. The RAMs don't reach expected speeds, when it awakes from sleep fans go full speed and two USB devices in the front connectors get in each others way. Is that something only I have and should I send it for repair?
A year ago, roughly 6 months before this video was published, I bought a 5600X and a 5700X and put each on a Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 for $129. Good enough board for what these PCs will be asked to do, and a great price.
i feel sorry for my 5700x as fitted it in my atmx gigabyte a320m-s2h v2 but still boosts all cores to 4.7ghz when im playing escape from tarkov my full specs are ryzen 5700x , Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 RAM 2x16 32GB 3200mhz , Crucial P3 Plus 2TB M.2 , gigabyte rtx 4060 all on my mega budget motherboard a320m-s2h :D
Thank you for this video. I bought a 5700 X few weeks ago and put it on my old tuf gaming b450 but I was wondering what kind of card with new features I could choose to get more of this cheap but very good CPU.
yea but ur a520 chip can only Pcie 3.0 and the 4060 can 4.0 its not a big difference in performance but for full performance with the 4060 u need a board with pcie 4.0
@bruno_rocha.10 spending that much money on a 5000 series cpu is not a very good choice because for almost £100 cheaper you could get a rog strix b550 f gaming wifi ii. If you have that much money to spend anyways I would suggest a better cpu rather than an expensive motherboard such as a ryzen 7 5800X3D which is the best amd cpu for gaming.

Rog strix b550-f gaming for ryzen 7 5700x? Good or not?
For sure

Do you had to update the bios, or was it compatible out of the box?
@@maxxll_ Ready out of the box.
Thanks for sharing!
@@rangersmith4652 Thanks for this answer. My order is on its way yet this question has still been bugging me. Thank you!
@@sated652 That being said, by now there is most likely a BIOS update that could be done.

It worked on the b450?
@@elsterlp2549 im using right now a b450 with a 7 5700x so yes

do you have best gpus for 5700x?
hi, not yet but I will probably make one soon
Im using a rtx 4060 and still got a bit of a gpu bottleneck at 1080p
if you can't buy a motherboard that supports the cpu off the bat; that is is a deal breaker; I'm not buying 2 cpus
You don't need to buy two cpus. If your motherboard has a bios flashback button you only need a USB drive motherboard and power supply to update it
Ok; thanks @@The_Chosen_1ne

Would I have to update the bios on the B550 a Pro Motherboard for it to run properly with the Ryzen 7 5700x?
Yes, you need the last update or a ryzen 5 3600 to do it then you can use your 5700x
what about the msi b550m pro?
I have the same one and it works fine since the bios supports the r7 5700x

hi it's fine but not my choice
i have not been having much luck with Asus motherboards. I am not buying Asus boards anymore
thanks for your comment. What problems did you face? and with which models?
