    My grandmother had a stroke last week. I made her one of these and she was so fascinated by it. It was a struggle for her to pull the petals but the fascination that it kept blooming kept her spirits up! My kids, my mother and my uncle were all jealous I didn't make them one! Thank you for bringing so much joy to my family!!

    Thank you for this video. Thank you for using stitch markers. I tried to make a couple other peoples patterns and could not get the rotational flip after the 2nd row on their pattern. This is for some elderly dimentia patients for co workers mothers.

    Can you tell me what size yarn and hook you are using?

    Would you please tell me how many total sc stitches there are in the 6 chain stitches, which includes working into both sides of the chain (12 ch stitches when counting both sides)...? I'm not so sure i'm doing your first set of increases into the bottom of the chain correctly.
    For rnd 2, you show inc x 12 (24sts)...are all these sc stitches going into the chain sts...?

      For the most part i believe i understand rnds 1 and 3, but i'm not so sure about rnd 2...where exactly does it begin and end...?
      Does it begin with the bottom 6 ch sts (which is what i'm assuming)...?
      When/where does it end...? Thats the part i'm a bit confused on.

      You work both sides of ch6 so yes you will have 12 sts in the next round, then inc into each stitch (all sc) and you get 24 sts. No chains at all, maybe written pattern would help you? www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flower-spinner-fidget-toy

      @@lunacrochetdesigns Thank you for your quick reply...!! I'm familiar with ravelry, but unfortunately i dont have the ability to purchase a pattern...!!
      So if i understand you correctly...the top of the chain has 6 sc, then after you "close the chain", there are an additional 12 sc with the inc in the bottom 6 chains...for a total of 18 sc at this point...? And then the next rnd...rnd 2...has 24 sc...? Or am i still confused...?

      I went back and rewatched tour video for the "umteenth" time...lol..enlarged the screen and slowed everything down....when you're at approx. the 4:10 time mark, how many total sc had you made...18 sc...? Then, you go on to rnd 3...?
      What am i missing...?

    • @lunacrochetdesigns
      @lunacrochetdesigns  5 дней назад +1

      At 4:10 you are half way through second round, so have made 12 sts, not 18. Between both st markers there are 6 sts and once you made inc into each stitch, you will have 24 in total, so in between first and second st marker there will be 12 then pull the second one through the middle and add inc into each of those too making it from 6 to 12, totalling to 24 😊@leesan9348

      On fais comment si on veut pas faite les pétales?

    • @lunacrochetdesigns
      @lunacrochetdesigns  Год назад +2

      @@2206sonia glad you managed to make one! If you do not want petals, then follow R 1-5 as shown and make last two rounds like this:
      R 6: *sc 2, inc, sc 2* x 12 (72 sts).
      R 7: slst around (72 sts). Fasten off, cut yarn and sew in the tail.
