- After testing the Mini GP3 out on the track it's time to offer our thoughts on the car as a daily driver. Imran has been using it pretty much since we took collection as his commuter car, so how does Mini's track special fare in the everyday?

Very informative, eagerly await the next episode
I cant wait for the Intake to be finished
Want an eventuri intake for my f56 they look amazing! Great video guys
This was like a topgear review well done
Great little pocket rocket, once you put your stamp on it it'll be even better 👍
Absolutely. Its a riot to drive but want to make it it "ours"
Great car and actually for a track spec car it’s relatively good value, especially when you compare it to the Renault Megane cupra r which is a silly price
Morning Imran. Can you do a power run stock with the eventuri fitted? And then again after you tune? Would be interesting to see the results
Get the Carly for BMW Android App and turn off the active sound device (ASD). It's so much more pleasant to drive without all the extra fake noise.
Yeah will code it out when exhaust goes on
@@EvolveAutomotive It was the very first thing I coded out.
How did you find the roads around Rhayader/elan valley in this little beast This morning ??
Thought I seen it parked in Rhayader this morning.
It was awesome 👌 amazing on those twisty roads.
if you put the shifter in S but NOT in GP mode it doesnt hold the gears as long as with S + GP activated at the same time.
Yes it still holds too long and is not very intuitive and in normal D is too slow. Needed some extra shift speed modes.
@@EvolveAutomotive Sprint Booster should change it
can it really be a GP since its an auto trans? If it was double clutch trans and had to be shifted, in other words if you missed a shift it would just keep revving and go to the limiter. Being its an auto if yo miss a shift or dont shift quite accurately it shifts for you.
Even M Cars have ZF Auto trans these days so I guess so
minis are great but at high speed ive found them a little ropey!
This car needs to be a manual....and any of that exhaust/engine sound coming thru speakers needs to be removed. From there, this car's perfect.
It sounds like we should just buy a normal jcw and modify it like your previous f56. Saves a ton of cash no doubt and achieves a better result....looks aside
If you’re planning to fairly modify it then yes. However it will be interesting to see how much further the GP3 (or new JCW) could be taken
Who’s from CEO cast ? 🙋🏽♂️
I don't know what he means when he says the m3 has soft brakes and suspensions ! no clue what he's talking about
suspension*
So, you moan about other cars being too road focused and soft and now you are talking about taking a more track focused car and de tuning it for the road. FFS, what do you want???
A car perfectly suited to my needs, which is why we modify cars.
It’s great that BMW have committed and made a true track car, but for my uses I want it a little more road focused for driving trips.
They missed a trick not have a gp fastroad focused mini cooper s jcw gp... Think tbe 80 track - 30 road split of the nain focus stops alot from using a s a daily.
A mini cooper s jcw "road attack edition" would be a valued addition, same quality and adaption the gp got to track as a road attack focused cooper s jcw, gp. Or a"mini cooper s jcw, raod attack edition " wide body kit, sequential box, quaife lsd. All4, clubman
With airlift 😁, can dream, be some build for someone..
