Take care of your body now. I am 53, and at 52 I found out I had cam and pincer FAI. For years I kept squatting ATG, but with great difficulty. I thought I just needed more mobility and flexibility. Because of that I destroyed both hips’ labrums. I now have grade 4 arthritis, and will need both hips replaced in the next 10 years. I had hip arthroscopy on my right hip last year to remove my cam and pincer. Dr. rebuilt my labrum using a cadaver ITB. It’s a bit better now, but hurts frequently. Take care.
I needed this so bad. Ever since graduated HS and stopped playing sports competitively my hips have just been terrible. I went for a 1.5 mile run last night and my hip still hurts. They also pop, snap, and get sore very easily
You can work them out! I did this accidentally by always needing to crawl while fighting my siblings and jumping from crawl position😂 I would , weirdly I guess, crawl on my second knuckle and not my palm. It’s just more natural feeling. My wrists now can lift and bend amazingly aparently. My cousins suitcase almost fell off the cliff in the mountain house and I caught it from the lower grate thingy and lifted it up with just my wrists bending and lifting. Apparently people don’t do that .. but hey! 🎉
One thing he didn't mention, that can be also a symptom of FAI, which can lead to a full hip replacement; it's just over a year since I had both of my hops replaced, and that was one of the symptoms

If something hurts, i walk through it without limping, after about ten or twenty steps, it foesnt hurt anymore and i can walk normal without focusing on it. Same goes for shoulder, rib, neck arm pain.
