Side Mirror Replacement Honda Civic Coupe 2006-2011

- Aloha everyone,
I had something happen the other night to my 2009 Honda civic EX coupe. Needless to say, I had to get a replacement for my driver side mirror to drive it safely.
Estimates and quotes from more than five places around the area charged $70USD for just the part, without labor.
I was able to go to O’Reilly‘s auto parts online, message a representative about what I needed for my car. They were able to help me find the necessary parts. And I ordered it from there.
I was able to place an order by 11 AM. And pick up in store by 4 PM On the same day!
Overall, I paid $48.76USD for the part, and only took 20 minutes of my time(mainly filming).
The inventory item for O’Reillys is:
Fit System K Source Fit System Replacement Mirror
KSO 63574H
The actual part is made by POLYWAY part number 4112-11015-02 LH
Tools you will need for the installation and removal are, either an 8MM or 5/16” socket and a screwdriver for the harness.

im so glad i found this video, i didnt even think to look at oreileys lol, i tried buying a mirror off amazon for $30, and it was just the mirror not the assembly 😂
honda parts now wants $211 for full mirror and assembly lmao
So sorry you had that accident, it’s evident you’ve got a little PTSD because of it. Hope you can put it behind you one day. I had replaced this mirror a while ago and was so glad to watch your video as a refresher, especially the part about “taking your time and be patient” when removing the existing (painted) plastic cover. Nice thanks! I was reversing out of my parking lot a few months ago and caught my side mirror on concrete post... lol Anyways I been looking at how to fix it. Thanks!! Part looks inexpensive. I asked at a place how much to fix it, and the part alone was crazy expensive. For the mirror assembly to be changed they wanted like almost 400 cad...

Hey... between 2006 and 2011 the civics are vastly different. I just searched those dates in the Pick-n-Pull for 2 hours.
There’s also differences between the LX, EX, and regular models. That’s why I’m my description I put that I have an EX model.

My glass broke but my mirror assembly is perfect and I ordered just the mirror part and I cannot find a video that shows just how to attach that part everything is for the entire assembly

By any chance does somebody knows if the side mirrors from de Sedan are compatible with the Coupe, please?
they are not, but sedan replacements are easier to find
What size socket did you use to remove the nuts
8MM or 5/16” socket. I believe that’s what I put in the description when I did it...

I have this same car my bumper was messed up so I went to the dealership to order a new bumper they told me it was going to cost me about 300 dollars just the bumper itself not including the labor, so I decided to look into it on other websites come to find out the bumper only costs about 70 dollars and up , lesson learned never go to a dealership to get anything done they will rip you off
