    I wish there was an easy mains usbc power deliver option so we can move from tripod to handheld continuosly throughout the day and always know that our battery will be topped up without needing to turn it off to charge.

      I've been getting over 4 hours out of my GH6 using this power bank 👉 ruclips.net/video/IpUOlH0StXc/видео.htmlsi=BRJZRN6IEO8QT4YO and when I need more power I use this one 👉 ruclips.net/video/8g3GDenHxSA/видео.htmlsi=JhMnqgGYXzTnH3vr The bigger one is less practical for handheld work but you get more charge out of it overall. You can even hot swap smaller power banks if you wanted.

    I like the SSD out too much... I wish these camera co's would start doing a 2nd USB-C for both. Could easily do a USB-C on the other side of the camera or bottom into battery. .

      Yeah I totally agree! A second USB-C port would be a great addition to the next line of cameras. Here's hoping thats in the works already 🤞

    I just discovered your incredible-looking site this morning, and I am using this latest post to ask a question. Background: Several months ago I bought a Lumix DC-ZS90. The manual that came with it is confusing to me, and the longer online version is also confusing. I have not yet found any good tutorials online explaining all the features and settings for this camera. Question: Will your videos apply to the functions of the ZS90? If so, I'll be watching and digesting them very soon. Thanks. (The ZS90 might go by a different designation outside Canada.)

    • @stevelitton
      @stevelitton  4 месяца назад

      The menus can be very confusing on the Lumix cameras but you get a ton of features. There are some similarities between the menus, the ZS90 has a watered-down version of the menu due to it being more of an entry-level camera but there is some cross-over. You may find some of the features are labelled slightly differently or sit in slightly different places in the menu. I don't personally have the camera so I can't really go into specifics on it but I have quite a lot of videos that do just cover Lumix cameras in general and are not camera-specific. Quick honestly, the best way to learn is to just go out and shoot and if you come across issues or limitations then start looking for answers. Enjoy your new camera 📸

    Hey Steve! I was looking through your playlist and I can’t seem to find a video on it. I am having this weird issue with my GH6. When I zoom in and out on a subject everything looks good on the camera screen. When I view it on my computer or in Final Cut Pro it does this weird faint bright, dark, bright, dark pulsing like issue. Any ideas or settings I would need to change? Is my lens going bad? Thanks and sorry for the lack of knowledge. That’s why I came back to you to ask.

    • @stevelitton
      @stevelitton  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey. This depends on a few things. First is if your lens has a variable or fixed aperture. If it has a variable aperture then it will change as you zoom in, this will result in a darker shot if you have a fixed ISO value. It could also be your metering mode, as you zoom the metering mode will try to keep exposure for that new framing of the shot. Results may vary depending on the mode you are using, you could try a different metering mode to see if that helps. If you are using AF, there is also a possibility you are getting a bit of focus correction as you zoom and the focus is trying to keep up. Its hard to know without seeing but hopefully that points you in the right direction.

      @@stevelitton Thank you! I was thinking the metering mode. It just started doing it. I may have changed something accidentally like the metering mode. Do you have a video on that you can link for me? Thank you for getting back to me.

    • @stevelitton
      @stevelitton  4 месяца назад +1

      It could well be that. I haven't done a video on metering yet unfortunately. It's on my list though. Luckily metering modes are fairly universal across cameras so there is plenty of info out there.

    Very scared about the power bank with Gh5 route. Since it doesn’t support PD but glad gh6 is more versatile.

      You're right the GH5 doesn't support USB PD unfortunately but the GH6, G9m2, S5ii and S5iiX all do and I believe the GH5ii does as well.

      Nice. When I am using my GH5 or GH6 in my office and not really moving it I use the Lumix AC10 adapter. Then you just get constant AC power and no hassle of checking power and charging batteries. Its a bit pricey but I get a lot of use out it and it saves me a lot of time.

    Hey Steven, can you use a MacBook Pro charger as it gives usb PD power. Will the camera pull the amps and volts it needs or is that a risky thing to do? It does charge phones ok.

    • @stevelitton
      @stevelitton  3 месяца назад +1

      I haven't tried mine but it should work fine. It's using the USB PD standard so it should just be pulling what it needs to charge the battery. I can do a couple of tests if you like.
