just returning the favour after you reviewed one of my songs on ultimate guitar archive. You can play some - well impressed. By the way, I thought they all sounded great !
+Stuart Moxham Thanks for watching and your comment! glad you like the sound of the gold top ... means all the changes and upgrades on it were worth it :)
+Usf Corner What upgrades have you done, I the 2014 "56 goldtop" too. I saw the new pickups, did you do anything else too. What difference did you find compare to the old ones.
+Stuart Moxham the original neck pickup was decent ... but i really didn't like the original trebble pickup. I found it weak and with definitely no definition in the sound. And i wanted to have a humbucker sound anyways ... that one was my first change. I also can split it to have a simili single coil sound. The neck pickup i have put in it (antiquity) is (for me) the best P90 i have ever tried ... better than the gibsons ... I also changed the tuners, the pickups selector and part of the electronics inside ... i still have to change the bridge though ... also a weak point on this guitar but that can still wait a little
funny you say that! when i bought it, i was doubting between this one and a white JS1000 ;) I find the LAG a bit more versatile! thanks for watching :)
+Don Abrahams thanks for your comment ... That guitar is my "Frankenstein" ... been trying and changing several things on it ... different pickups, tuners, selector switch, etc ... and i like the final result ;)
+Redemption Road i was not expecting that when i bought this guitar, but surprisingly they do ... but i mostly use that guitar for blues and jazz where the P90 are just amazing
Merci Jawad ;) les upgrades faits dessus sont cools ... le P90 en neck est une tuerie même avec les grosses distortions. C'est devenu une des guitares qu'on utilise le plus sur scène ... malgré les Fenders et les Gibson
nice gear! never tried the Jet ... but used to have an old Roxane (from the 90s) that was amazing... not saying anything about the JS1200 we all know how good it is! and thanks but i am sure you are a good guitarist ! you should post some videos of your guitars !
+Jeff Page that PRS is just MADE for shredding... amazing and comfortable neck ... But i think i can still improve the sound though, by changing the pickups. The original ones are OK, but i am thinking on putting the same ones as the CU24 or maybe the Tremontis.
+Usf Corner I've got an SE 245. My favorite HB guitar ever. Typically, the SE stock pickups are horrid (except the 245) but if you drop a couple Seymour Duncans in them it's a total game changer.
+Jeff Page I thought about putting Seymour Duncans ... love those pickups (tried the pearly gates and the slash sets)... but i am curious to hear how original PRS pickups sound like ... Which SD's model did you put on your PRS?
+Usf Corner My current PRS has the 245 pickups which are actually pretty articulate through high gain. The SDs I've used in my Les Pauls are Antiquity and Phat Cat. I've honestly never come across a SD pickup that wasn't great at what they were intended to do. If I were to swap pups in my 245 I'd likely go with either Seth Lovers or the Slash set. JMO
Epiphone sounds best to my ears !! Great play !!
thanks Tarik! most people like that one ! it has a unique Seymour Duncan P90 on it !

+Usf Corner Thanks, the guitar sounds great, certainly well worth the work.
The Lag, great discovery, makes me think about an Ibanez JS1200
funny you say that! when i bought it, i was doubting between this one and a white JS1000 ;) I find the LAG a bit more versatile! thanks for watching :)
Great performance! I like the first one! What a sound! Thank you for the video.
Thanks Mario ! that P90 is indeed very good ! the best i have ever had!
EPIPHONE Les Paul '56 Gold Top takes it for my ear for that style of music.
+Don Abrahams thanks for your comment ... That guitar is my "Frankenstein" ... been trying and changing several things on it ... different pickups, tuners, selector switch, etc ... and i like the final result ;)
+Usf Corner Yes i think you found the sweet spot on that one, the P90 neck pickup especially!
+Don Abrahams with a crunchy sound through a TS9 or a Maxon 808, that pickup is a killer :)
Love the custom but the P90's rock for that style!
+Redemption Road i was not expecting that when i bought this guitar, but surprisingly they do ... but i mostly use that guitar for blues and jazz where the P90 are just amazing
Pedazo de guitarras y pedazo de solo!
kalamarguineano gracias !!!
Gold top...those p90s are hot!
thanks Luke! they are indeed ... best ones i have ever tried ;)
Superb work Bro!
+Justin Elliott Thanks! glad you like it !!
The Epiphone Goldtop '56 with P90's.
+Henk van Gruijthuijsen glad you like it ! still have the bridge and tailpiece to change though
Epiphone sans aucun doute à khay ! P90 are awsoms PU fort this king of riffs
Merci Jawad ;) les upgrades faits dessus sont cools ... le P90 en neck est une tuerie même avec les grosses distortions. C'est devenu une des guitares qu'on utilise le plus sur scène ... malgré les Fenders et les Gibson
I have a JS1200, a Lag Jet 1000 and a Lag Roxane 200
The Jet is my favorite. But i m not so good as you!
