I remember first time I went racing on my raptor 350 with a big bore. Forgot gloves and didn't have hand guards. All I had was boots and a helmet. Had to get a set of pants that I sold to a friend after the race😂😂 was all well and fun but christ I couldn't keep up. Then I got an 05 yfz450 with a big bore and got it all kitted out with multiple protectors and guards. And an oversized tank. Had full gear with a chest protector and camel back
150 total racers and only 8 in your class, so after the first lap, if you catch anyone, they should let you by and tuck in behind you without issue. Same if someone else catches you. It's faster to follow them instead of try to out run them. Takes a couple races to get the feel for it for the new racers. It's easy to wreck when you're getting over for someone if you don't do it in the right spot too !
Why do riders do that when they just stop to let someone pass and just continue right behind them? I'm genuinely curious, is there like some rule or is it just rider choice?
Thanks Justin. GoPro Hero 8 Black w/ Hypersmooth turned on. Lowest resolution and frame rate settings, so the battery lasts the longest - 1080p and 30 FPS. Then up-scaled in the video editing software to 4k (max data rate) to trick RUclips into showing the full 1080 quality version instead of a compressed blurry version 👍
Did I mean how much I love watching these races😉😉
Thanks! Braaaap!
I love it when he flips the guy in front 14:27 minutes into the race, when he tried to push through. Poor guy was just trying to get up the hill lol
Having fun and I love it !!!

What classes can I race at 13 I race motocross on an atv and want to get into harescrambles and which atvs for each class
You can race junior class at 13 I think it’s 200-300 sized motors then when you’re 15 or 16 you can move up to young C which is 450 and up I think
Bellissimo 🚀🚀🚀🚀
what place did you come in
30:10 I ate shit lmao😂
You ok?? Was wondering what happened but didn't see you again
That so weird when I say this I instantly paused the video and came to the comments to see what happened
Nice! Find anything out with the group that missed the corner?
Apparently that was an option route and didn't see the other arrows going to the left? Took that line the next lap I believe
Didn't win I guess
Great video! What is the wheel pressure for this track?
6psi or so. Thanks!
How do people know when to let you by them

Where do you get the custom flexx bar pads?
Spider Graphix

If they're faster that you, you let them pass. A lot of times, it's nice having a fast guy infront of you so you can match his lines
Especially if they're racing a different class. You're not racing them, you're racing guys on your class
@@CoralBlueNumber2Lipstick Okay that makes more sense. I'm pretty new to the whole racing scene so that's something I didn't know about. Thanks!
@@SM33SH Also some riders break down or have a problem so they let others pass since they can’t go
I was the dude on the orange kfx 400 that held up the track.. I do apologize hah
No worries. Fun times!! How did you do?
@@XSMotorsports ended up running a 43min lap and then had a wheeler fie under the seat
@@alexbalzer6894 a fire?! hope not!!

XS Motorsports awesome, better than HD TV lol
one more question, what editing software are you using?
@@Jbranum22 Adobe Premiere usually
Do you guys get to run practice laps?
I would assume
Nope not in xc racing

Thanks, keep braapin!!

Don’t seem like a lot of room to pass
What type of racing is this, enduro? I’m want to get into this type of racing but don’t know what it is called.
Cross-Country or "XC". Enduro is a little different with Timing etc
Hare scrambles if you race MX or some quad or cross country
i feel like I would have been faster on my sportsman 500HO with a deer on the back....
You obviously don't know what you are talking about
You need some practice bud
That would make it too easy 😋
