Amazing to watch this. I almost caught myself with a tear in my eye. I couldnt help but remember 25 years ago when my father was still alive and we both participated in timed checkpoint events and poker runs. My last event like this was at Hurricane Mills TN (Loretta Lynn's) when i was 16 on a 500 Suzuki Quadracer. 2 things come flashing back that i dont think people understand. That camera view is not showing even a fraction of the depth of those berms and washes or the angle of decents and accents. And for those that said "im more wicked on a wheeler than you" You may be, but im going to go ahead and tell you to follow this guy for a day and then come back and tell us how wicked you are. The other thing was how composed you kept yoirself in a few of those places. Most people dont make it long after they get a little tired and stop planning each move.
Thank you very much for watching and enjoying it. Glad that you had some reflection of.you and your Dad. My son and I have raced together since he was 6 and I enjoyed every second of.it and will have those memories forever. The best times were when we raced against each other. We had some fierce battles, lol. As far as the camera angles, I know exactly what you mean. No one knows what it's like unless your the one behind the bars. Yes alot of people tell you on here how good they are and how you should change up the things you do, but they won't put the boots on and go head to head with ya. I appreciate the nice comments 😁
That was a hard, muddy, slippery, grueling race across rugged and steep country. Don't know how on earth you kept the camera so steady through such country. Thanks for the great video and captions , you've got a great attitude !! +1 LIKE, +1 SUBSCRIBE.
id like to ride this trail on my grizzly, not race or anything just trail ride, i live for these tight trails that wind through the forest, they are my jam
Ha ha, it took sometime to do it that way but I thought it was much more entertaining that's for sure. Uploading Camp Coker tonight so stay tuned for one more Thanks Jeremiah !!

Ken Robey renegades correct? I’m trying to figure out what one y’all are riding. I’m looking to get one. We do a lot of steep trail riding around my area here in SW Washington State and Nw Oregon.
Yes, most of us race the Renegade but some race on the Outlanders also. Both machines are basically the same except for the plastic and and a few little things here and there. Renegades come with better shocks
Do you have it in 4wd the whole time ? Also are you racing in high or low gear , might be dumb questions just don’t know anything about this type of racing

Your 850. Did you end up doing work to the motor etc. Or is the 850 pretty much on par with the 1000 in gncc racing. I'm currently torn between the 2. Looking to order come December once Can Am/brp reopens up their order system. Racing FMSQ here in Canada. I'd also be interested to know if the weight difference is noticeable? Thanks.
Trust me it's racing, there is no following anyone if your the type of person that loves to push his or her body to the limits with your machine. Give it a try like I did, if you don't already, you may enjoy it
Steve Bergman yea my dads friend races it and I’m racing it next year I’m on a 400ex now and has a few injuries but when I used to race a few years ago even tho I didn’t finish either of them I loved it

Your running commentary had me cracking up lol. You ride really well too. Great video, thanks for the upload.
Thank you 😂
Ken Robey can you do a video on how you wash your quad after a race?
@@392mygfnn that would be a beneficial video to do since cleaning is so important, but unfortunately I have retired and no longer own any quads.

Great video. I used to race 250 2 stroke in the late 80s /90s just picked up a can am and thinking about getting back out there with the slow guys :).
I think you should. Race in a 4x4 is the best of both worlds. If you do decide to and have any questions, don't hesitate to ask

I race X Country on 2 wheels. Its demanding on the body but Itlooks like your racing is a lot worse.Good ride!!!
Don't know how you guys do it on two wheels. Definitely envious of your skill level. I would be on the ground more than I would be on the bike.
I love how he has a paper that says “turn on camera!” 😂
In the heat of the moment you wouldn't believe how easy it was to forget that small detail 🤣
