This gave me a great insight on those two types and i think it helped me understand how my mbti test results show that i tend stongly in both directions somehow, since i could roughly categorize in which circumstances i behave more based on thinking or on feeling. Especially the many examples helped with that, so thanks for putting the work in them ^^
ISTJ vs ISFJ- I think I correctly typed my mum, she's ISFJ (she was sure that she uses Fe and not Te after this explanation), today she took mbti test and she got ISFJ, 51%F, 49%T. I will start with high Te and low Fe: T=J, E= it is outwardly seen/heard... so Te= how are things organised, decided, set, so these are the rules, it has to be this way and if you have a problem with it, it's your problem, I don't care how you feel about it- you broke a law, you'll be punished. But Fe social norms care how people feel so ISFJ is also systematic even though ISFJ doesn't have Te. High Fe, low Te cares about the collective- therefore ESFJ and ENFJ want to be with people but for example ISFJ also needs time alone so Fe doesn't mean extroversion. Fe cares about the emotional atmosphere in the group (for example at work), that there are no conflicts, people get along (I'm INTP with Fe inferior so if people just attack themselves, I'm scared- even though I thought I don't have Fe)- so Fe can't force rules upon them- rules are too hard, strict. ISTJ is more strict than ISFJ. I know one strict professor where the Te above Fe was clearly seen (it doesn't mean that ISTJ has to be THAT strict and punctual) so everything was clearly set and if someone did something just a little bit differently for example you submit an assignment 5 seconds late, it's gone, you'll get F- I think he's ISTJ. Te would ask: Was it decided that you have to do this?- Yes. Did you do it? No. So I will give you F. Or: Was it said that you can be absent in school maximally 2 times and if more, you have to write an apology? Yes. Did you do it? No, so goodbye, I can't do anything about it, these are the rules. Te has no problem with firing people from work, Fe has high problem with it. It doesn't mean that Te likes being rude to people but there have to be rules, or else there would be chaos. My mother for example says a lot that other people used to take advantage of her so she was a shy people pleaser and she hates quarrels so I knew that she would agree with ISFJ.
I can tell an F from a T because an F will say things that I find slightly irritating but which are not wrong. What a T says, on the other hand, makes sense. If you are an F person, is this reversed?
Love this series! Your analysis’ are always interesting, accurate, and comprehensive
Very off topic, but your voice is very soothing. Giving me ASMR.
Cool background, beautiful eye makeup. Good presentation energy

If you are an F person, is this reversed?
As a F person: a T person communicates in direct, formal and dry way. A F person can be spotted by their overall kindness, loveliness and warmth.
