In fact she got betrothed to him while dating another man in Kenya. Her parents had arranged her entire marriage and they knew for sure Ocampo was the man their daughter deserved.
So why did she agree to marry a man she felt nothing for?
A man who did not want to marry a Kenyan woman,..
Here is Lynn Ngugi with this episode of Tuko Talks

Who else realized Lynn is a pro in interviewing, friendly and she opens a way for one to talk more and more
Meee
I like the way she is emotional where necessary
🖐🖐🖐👌👌👌
She is the best
I really don’t want to compare her to any particular journalist, but she is a young Oprah. The way Lynn segues into her topics is as smooth as Obama’s swag. I love her.
The story of Liz and Solomon must be put into movie, it should be a great one.
Yea for real
True
I totally agree! For Christians and non-Christians alike!
Definitely! 😊
yes sir that's true
I Love that she prayed and asked GOD to give her a man with a higher standard than her. I also love what she said about purity. It was so profound! What a Beautiful story and testimony! This really Blessed me!!!
The way he nursed her through the pregnancies is beautiful. God bless them.
I love her stand for purity... Very important
Lynn gets excited when she interviews a true love story... 🤩
I had that illness during pregnancy and my ex didn't support me like this. I don't think I will ever have children again unless I know the love this woman speaks of. I divorced after 20 yrs and I was never cherished. I realized this and couldn't bear a life like that. I hope God has a husband for me. If not, I would rather be single than settle for less again. God bless this woman, her husband and family 🙏🏽
Better be single than be with someone who doesn't love you
For I know the plans I have for you ..says the Lord
Plan for prosperity, say the lord
This is like a Wattpad story. An unexpected arranged marriage, check. From strangers to a deeply in love couple, check. A super caring handsome husband, check.
Very true
Couldn't agree more😊
In societies where they respect marriage. Not hawa wetu
Its the smile and humor of Pastor Liz that always gets me.
Do u happen to know her youtube channel?

I am a mother of young adults and I am encouraged by this textmony. May God remember my sons and give them good wifes.
Ameen..may your prayer be answered
Amen praying the same too for my daughter Kate, and Eddie
After 25 years we all get confused. Nudge them to marry young
Speak it into being....
I am a Filipino married to a French man for 7 years now. Although my circumstances were different, their story and pieces of advice are very helpful. Thank you that it is done in English. With Pastor Solomon’s interview, I was nodding my head most of the time but with Miss Liz, I was laughing hard. Lol. I love the host’s interaction with her. For sure Filipinos and Kenyans have similarities in expressing themselves. 😄😄😄
Your not pilipino 😂😂😂 ikaw ay pilipina...😉😉😋
I agree with your statement about Pastor Solomon's interview and Mrs. Ocampo's interview 👍
Its very different a filipina women’s married to a foreigner that is very normal
But a man married to a woman is different thing my frend you know that for a fact specially marrying a white western or french italian or canadian
Sure arranged marriage work
@@donnella7752 his wife is also a pastor so why not acknowledge her às that Mrs is not her title we know they are married.
Would i ever consider an arranged marriage? NO. Would i ever oppose it? Not sure...I am so happy for this girl that she met her match. May God bless and sustain her marriage!
Don't agree I am coming for you, betrothment is not good
@@deniswafula3847 - why do you say that?
That's a story written by The fingers of God. That's just incredible 👏💜👏
Liz is so humble and beautiful, and Lynn is a great interviewer.
After watching and listening to her I prefer an arranged marriage. But as she said it's foundation must be Jesus Christ
Yea even in the bible nothing like dating.sijui watu walitoa dating wapi.
Christ must be the foundation. Amen sister. 💜💜💜
"What I needed was not what God intended for me" God please let your will be done unto me 🙏
Amen
i crave a love like this, a love so pure,so genuine! Lord give me such love
Liz did mention about her Filipino husband that although he was not a pastor, he still had more bible wisdom than her who's been to bible school...! That's a big lesson for our pastor's of today. No wonder many of pastors she dated could not uphold basic purity standards. Lord help today's contemporary church...!
There's something really great about Liz. Her aura, smile, the way she tells the story plus she is so beautiful!
Very true
Very likeable
This is the worlds best love story period!
This couple has an amazing story! It shows how God works in many ways!! And how sometimes all you need is to TRUST! This God we serve is not to be placed in a box or even out of a box- Nothing can contain Him!
Amen
That's right
His ways are not our ways! I have to keep reminding myself to trust Him and not lean on my own understanding!
Wooow,,, Her laughter and smile are contagious 🥰🥰
She is really gorgeous and the guy is cute,,, she makes me want to tell my parents to arrange one for me,, have been single for long😢😂,
Thumbs up Lyn.
Haha do it u are free
I know her laughter is so so contagious
Father God arranged My marriage to a stranger, a Beautiful Amazing man of God for 2 years now. 💜😇🙏
May you be happy all the days of your married life.
Wonderful, I can't get enough of their story, for sure they really inspire me, actually the most sensitive thing about their story it's about their purity standards which is a low key in the today's modern society...it's almost becoming a taboo, but these two are a testimony of that. I thank God for them.
Our parents should go back to arranged marriages because the ones we are arranging are not working😂😁Pastor Liz is a whole mood
Should be declared national disaster 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😀😀😀
😂😂😂😂
🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't leave me my friend🤣🤣🤣the whole interview is a vibe..Lynn you should be interviewed too🤣🤣
This really is needs to be a movie. This is one of the most beautiful story I’ve ever heard😍
The laughter is infectious. Amazing story.
Sometimes your dream spouse does not come the way you thought he\she would be physical wise but the fact is that character wise they are people that we can be able to handle and to deal with ....,
purity until marriage. this is an amazing story and a testimony as well. May God bless this Blessed family.
Marrying strangers arranged by parents is better. Now days we end up choosing spouses on our own only to end up getting assaulted, dying prematurely etc coz of not focusing on some key things while dating. But parents will never go wrong unless they are selfish parents.
She's cute & has the sweetest smile! May they prosper...
Lynn,
I love this couple for their honest and sincere way they talk and funny. Liz is fun to listen to
Lin Ngugi you are Oprah Winfrey of Kenya, you know how to get the story from deep waw I give you thumbs up.
🥚 xactly!
She's just like joyce omondi her looks, her voice, even how she talks.

We do hate arranged marriages bt at times it works where a parent can see while seated we can't see even while on top of the trees
It works waarabu wanaishi hivyo choosing partners to their children na hizo ndoa hudumu though their marry theur cousins
@@eunicewairimu5015 truth
I wish my family had arranged one for me. Somehow it works a lot of the times.
Considering many are the wrong choices we make when young in the Name of "love" and end up with painful and broken marrigages leading to countless single parrents, I Think the old fashioned method of parents choosing for their children has a positive side somewhere. @ least those parents will do anything to Support the marriage Morally . Marriage and love nowadays should be more logical than emotional.
@@YaAllahswtYeah, young people these days don't use trees anymore.
I can never get tired of hearing her story. Beautiful person inside out and beautiful family. Love her analogy about marriage. Love your family Pastor Liz. You encourage me to love my husband. 👏🏽👏🏽♥️😍❣️

I was never a regular tuko fan before today. thanks Lyn. umenikamata haswa. what a positive sweet story
Some Africans and self hate. A kid as dark as charcoal is beautiful too. Lovely couple though.
I call it brainwashing. Also the men push it on the girls that the light skinned ones are better. What a lie of the devil.
@@lizsarah4580 Sad haki ! Let's emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. Beauty has no skin tone.
So true, if you knew the hardships I went through as a darkskin kid, teen,💔i am starting to gain confidence as an adult.
H H, did you notice that too? She apparently hates her own colour. Surprised she hasn't bleached yet. The self-hate is real. Still mentally colonised. 😏
@@czarinaczar I don't think she hates her own color though, remember we darkskin get bullied almost everyday I had bad experience as a child even now as an adult I come across black men who are colorist and would prefer a light skin to a darkskin. Some of my own relatives chose my Lil sis over me because she was lighter I would not want my own child to go through what I went through.
For i know the plans i have for you says the lord, plan to prosper but not to harm you
Filipinos are naturally caring and nurturing. You found a gem

Scary but absolutely beautiful story 🇺🇸🇿🇦
Very beautiful
God works in many ways!
Beautiful, my pastor back in the days it was PURITY ALL THE WAY, thanks for REMINDING THE YOUNG ONES THE REAL WAY OF OBEDIENCE TO THE WORDS OF GOD.
I love your story. I think God Himself chose a husband for you who treats you the way God wants husbands to treat their wives. Most of the married women are not happy in their marriages because they are not being treated well by their husbands. May God help us.
I think that this is the best interview tuko has ever done. I have been ministered to. I love the realness of pastor Liz. And Lynn you were amazing here. Wacha tungojee mungu.
Mr and Mrs Ocampos are so inspiring! 💜💜💜
I really love the interview, God bless you pastor Liz, you're amazing!
Thanks Lynn Mgugi, the best interviewer!
Liz and her hubby came to my radar on Joyce's show and then i followed their content on their youtube. Their story challenges how we see marriage
Clearly we make plans God laughs!he alone knows why and what's best for us.see God!!!!
Wow I felt tears when she says the guy was excited about the engagement "she said yes"
As a child of God, Trust in the Lord and lien not unto your understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths. Thank God you knew the Lord before you got married.
Of all her interviews, this is the best she laughed and cried. Truly funny and emotional on my side.
Best couple that i know may God bless and protect their marriage.
I know i have watched her story severally, but lyn kudos...
When I was still living in Brazil, I had a friend who had an arranged marriage. She was from Japanese descent. She was OK with that. She told me this was the best decision, because she thought she wouldn´t be wise enough to find the right man. They are a very happy couple. Life can be as simple as that.
What a beautiful story.I have learnt how important it is to seek God's guidance in looking for a marriage mate.
I love the story of your betrothal. I can watch it over and over over again.
Let's me say this first: this is one of the most funniest and greatest story on Tuko. I laughed along with them and learned important tips about marriage 💑. 😀😃... often I cry on many stories. She said it: A man who is not answerable to anyone is a problem, it is SOOOO TRUE!!!!!! And not knowing how someone upbringing was its another serious issue we often don't take into consideration and praying for God's will not my will. God bless you all, you have no idea how you healed my heart today.❤🧡💞💕💟❣
Weh! God works in mysterious ways. Such a lovely story! Enjoyed every bit of this interview. And shes really pretty!

Beautiful interview...I love the Ocampo couple. Such a God fearing couple.
Their kids are so beautiful. They are truly blessed.
very good interview, however, l think your audience would like to know more about this betrothal business. Arranged marriages are rarer amongst certain groups of Kenyans. Also, can Mrs. Ocampo senior be approached to introduce more Kenyan girls to Philipino Men to stop them being married as second wives and destroying other marriages. She seems happy, why not. It works in other cultures.
This could be possible
Mrs. Ocampo senior has passed away in 2017 in a car accident according to the other video.
Amen..nice point about 'purity'. God bless you all.🙏
