Really appreciated the guide. I have only been playing for a week or so and it was great to see the camps others had been talking about in chat. Really looking forward to EA on the 13th.
I have not seen your videos before Jodi, and really liked this one. Very informative, really going to be quite useful for new people who buy the game on Steam for EA starting on Dec 13th. My only other comment, and it's a stupid one at that: you pronounce Gadai as "GAH die" where I've heard VR pronounce it as "GAD eye". See you in game!
Yeah, TLDR there are visual cues to where everything can be located. One of the ideas behind this is discovery, and having groups help out. If you don't know where to go... Explore! Or ask a group mate to help.
It took me weeks to really learn AVP because the zone is so oddly shaped and it has fewer landmarks. This site has a really great map if you have a secondary monitor it helps! shalazam.info/maps/1?x=3909&y=2941&zoom=2&tabSelected=monster
Awesome guide. Just one thing. There is a merchant at the Crossroads, so you don't have to go all the way to town to sell, if you're hunting in that area.
I really wish the developers would put a basic map on the forums of the open zones so we can have a reference. I spent hours wandering and logged out rather bored and frustrated looking for gosh darn skeletons.
They're going to add some kind of map they said, it won't be a mini map though, just one you can uncover as you explore and bring up for reference. That should help quite a bit.
@JodiMcClure I wish it was a cartography skill in game. So it would look like it was a drawn map from your character and it would increase as you explore and maybe even sketch a new area as well to level the skill. It would be cool to have to pull it out of your inventory and need to have the supplies as well like ink and a quill to do it.
@@JodiMcClure Also, dungeons have areas that are clear of static and roaming mobs to find a spot to chill if you need some time to regroup or get a break.
Hey Jodi. This is a great video. Been in the community for years and love to see new content creators helping out. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing!… I’m getting the game and will be playing for the first time on Dec 13th, appreciate your guides!
See you then perhaps. Im starting then to. 😊
Great video, thank you! I died near the skeli camp and didn't get much further before servers were wiped.

Heh, because we played around with making a guild called "Hurry up and Gadai" so it's stuck in my head that way now!
@@JodiMcClure Haha I love it!!!

I am going to have soo much fun making my own physical map for this game :D
I was very frustrated coming from mostly wow, but actually started to quite like the game after a weekend of play.

Great video and thank you for posting

In the meantime you can use this site for a map: shalazam.info/maps/1?x=3563&y=3150&zoom=2&tabSelected=monster

@@kollinsendall1 It may very well be like that. Don't know, they haven't introduced it yet, but it would be cool if they kept it very rudimentary. :)
@@JodiMcClure that is absolutely perfect, thank you for linking that
Thank you
Nice, Thanks ❤
How fast do camps respawn?
15-20 on average, but many camps / dungeons are very mob heavy so you'll appreciate the time!

Im so disappointed in the graphics change. I pledged for the original graphics like 8yrs ago. This is more like EverQuest Next
then do not play and give me your key xD
