Good shit bro, much appreciated
Great video. Plus your commentary is mildly entertaining
In the cut 😂😂
I'm in need of the wiring harness adapter to change it over to a aftermarket radio where did you find yours at ?
So that way it's nothing but plug-and-play I have never seen this type of wiring harness connector my 85 S10 doesn't have the same setup
thanks my guy for linking all the parts you uses
👍🏾👍🏾
I can’t get my radio to come on done check the fuses they good
ruclips.net/video/5kXvam2VVek/видео.html try this if it doesn't help hit me back up let's figure it out
i have a 91 s10 and i cant reach the wire connections on the back of the radio to unplug them. how did you do it?
Me too, did you ever figure it out?
@@BoostnBullets I just ended up pulling on the radio and got my hand behind it and un clipped the connectors that way.
@@sipapiwylin6229 i figured it out earlier today, thanks though
Braaaaaaaaaa--BEST explainer video EVER!!!
Not you in Birmingham wit it I fw it bro 💯
Once the dash kit is installed how do you lock in the stereo so it don't move? I bought the exact dash kit, wiring harness, and stereo. Thank you.
JP, can you install multiple steros to the same speakers. My S10 Blazer is a 92. It came with the cassette, am/fm radio. I am old school and would like to add an 8 track player. I would upgrade the radio, but I love my cassette tapes. My daughter gave me a walmart radio, with bluetooth for your phone, and I am debating adding it.
It's possible but both can't play at the same time one would basically be there for looks
What’s part number for harness and the dash kit ?
Metra dashkit 99-4544 amzn.to/2uPrUrO
Metra wire harness 70-2001 amzn.to/2DgeucJ
Antenna adapter 40-gm10 amzn.to/2RGFQgI
Thanks
Does this work on the kenwood kmm-bt306
It should
I can't get the radio to go all the way in the dash 93 s10
What brand of dash kit??
I have a 1992 Sonoma and I just got a double din stereo and I can’t quite find a kit for it do you have any ideas?
I have a 1992 Bravada, did you find anything helpful?
You wont find a double din dash kit for one of those years. I don't think anybody makes one. If you do decide to go with a double din radio in one of the first generation S10's, it'll have to be a custom job. At the very least you have to cut the bezel at the top and bottom and glue some panels on the sides of the opening to cover the hole. And if you want the new radio to fit a little flush, you have to modify the hvac vents that run behind the radio in order to have it sit further in the opening. I was contemplating doing all that and just figured fuket, I'll just install a single din in there and be done with it.
Hey @jptheinstallguy i have a hyundai sonata 2006 and i saw the radio video and i cant find the wiring guide or the one with the steering wheel controls
Can you use the same wires on a cheaper radio
Is it blue tooth?
yes
Would this be the same for an 1994 s10?
Can I buy the OEM radio from you?
