  • In this video, you'll learn how to crochet the Suzette stitch, which is used in my aptly named, modern "Suzette Bag" free crochet pattern found here: makeanddocrew.c...
This stitch is far easier than it looks and is perfect for beginners who want to learn a simple way to combine simple and double crochet.
The Suzette stitch is used in my free tote bag pattern, which can be found here: makeanddocrew.c...
The yarn used in this tutorial is Bernat Maker Home Dec. It's SO great to work with. I just love it. amzn.to/2b6VRUZ (affiliate link)

One thing about Yarning under is...once you figure out your gauge it will always be the same by Yarning under instead of over. That's my opinion tho. It works for me! Thanks a bunch for this tutorial! I've been trying to find a pretty pattern to work with while watching movies with my hubby in the late evenings. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for your tutorial, you're an excellent teacher making this clear and easy to understand. Liked and subscribed because I LOVE learning new stitches and you rock! Question about this stitch..since it holds it's shape, does it become too rigid if you wanted to use it for a cowl or a part in a scarf? I wouldn't want it to be hard and uncomfortable, but the the end design is really different.
