Ok so I know what I did wrong with the wiring harness. I was trying to tuck the wires between the top side of the harness and the rubber hub part. Everything is so so now. Even though I disconnected the battery and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before I started, I have an airbag light now and service airbag pops up when you first start it then luckily goes away but the little airbag light is of course there. The horn, cruise control, radio controls all work fine. The only thing I can think is maybe I didn't let it sit long enough with the battery disconnected or there is a small chance I didn't push one of the airbag tabs and or connectors all the way down. So I will let it sit for at least 2 hours next time and pop the airbag off again and see. For me taking the airbag off was actually the easy part. small flat head works much better than an Allan wrench. Other than the light i'ts so beautiful it makes me want to almost cry. I also have every carbon thing there is for the horn, airbag and controls. Only the chrome trim is showing. Freakin love it.

How long it take u to get the air bag off? Have a feeling it wasn't as simple as you made it out to be
To be honest the first time I ever did it took me an hour but then I got the hang of it and it takes a few seconds if you can’t locate the tension of the clip inside then thats where you can get frustrated and start going more further in which you don’t have to as that lip is literally probably about an inch and a half from the hole. Once you have located that and press it it releases the air bag if it feels stuck you can give it a nice wiggle for it to come out. Also learned that if the allen key is too thin or too thick it may make it harder as well.
@@taddmason1187 Do not give up! I think I have a video where I show where the clips are at. Just relax and try to find it by moving into a slight angle you will find the Allen key hitting something and it will feel like a spring when you are pressing it - Kind Regards, Katherine
The airbag definitely took me a while the first time to maybe 30 minutes and I finally just sit back and looked in there really good and seen the tabs

What’s happening to me is that I pressed enough until I heard it “click” on both sides but now, I can pull the airbag off with my fingers without needing the “screwdriver” anymore.

I bought a charger with it already installed but the box was unplugged I tried plugging it up and syncing it but nothing happened should I break it down and make sure it’s wired right

And to make matters worse since it is pouring rain, when I disconnected the battery I closed the trunk. Big effen mistake. Took an hour of searching to figure out how to reset the trunk. All I can say to that is thank God that the passenger seat in manual and not electric like the drivers or I would have been super effed as there was no way I could ever get in through the drivers side..

@@abelrodriguez635 you can but there is a slight chance that the oem bolts by the buttons will be a bit bigger than what you would be able to bolt on there. Therefore you would need to replace those two if you see the trackhawk steering wheel install I explain that part. This will maybe happen with SRT trims

Hello! The center bolt for the steering wheel that’s holds it can be used multiple times as long as the customer or whoever is installing it doesn’t damage it! 😁️
Is there a way to remove the steering wheel once it’s installed?
Just try to touch the area where the opening is in the stock wheel, you will feel that place is softer as it is just a mesh covering the hole in the core of the steering wheel. Drill through it and you can take it off same way you did stock.
Is that gray alcantara not available anymore?
Unfortunately we discontinued the gray Alcantara option a while back.
Is there a reason the smart box connection would continuously cause my dash to light up when the car is off and locked?. Mine keeps making my dash push to start pop up every 3-5 seconds and ultimately resulted in my battery drained. I'm not sure how long it was doing that but I noticed a day ago and just had the steering wheel installed this week
I have the same issue in my charger. 2 batteries was drained before I figured out it was the smart box. I now just unplug from port when I'm not driving.
@@sanjayb0085 yea apparently it's a smart box issue. I was doing the same thing but it's annoying to have to keep disconnecting. I was able to get my hands on a new smart box and no problems.

Sounds like an issue with wiring, You may need to check the connection behind the steering wheel

Ok so as far as the airbag light. I turned the hazard lights on and disconnected the battery for 4 hours. Popped the airbag off and sure enough one of the airbag tabs wasn't pressed down all the way. Problem fixed.

Never spending another dollar with vicrez, took 3 months for a custom wheel.. sent the wrong color wouldn't except return for refund.. ruined a birthday present when i could’ve went to alibaba or eBay for the same thing.

Hope u figured it out. But it's the smart box. It keeps cutting everything on after the car is turned off. Stays on for maybe 5-7 seconds then cuts off. Does this numerous of times as the car is off resulting in battery drain.

No, when converting to a widebody there is some certain modifications that need to be done. We highlight recommend professional installation.
My shift lights aren’t even working even after putting the wires together and now my headlights aren’t turning on but the signal lights work and everything else but idk what to do anymore and the buttons on my steering wheel aren’t even working when i click them anymore as well
The wires of your steering wheel shouldnt affect your headlights... if your buttons arent working maybe they are not even connected together
