Ok, now that I have time to write it here for anyone interested: 1:42:00 After 40:1 the crowd starts chanting the Polish national anthem. Jurek noticed it and came out to encourage the crowd to sing louder. 1:45:20 The crowd was chanting Thank you. Jurek Owsiak said: "Let them play some more. We've talked about a DVD, a beautiful record and I told them (the band) you will see the most beautiful audience in the world, the most beautiful festival, the most beautiful place for rock&roll. Not the rock&roll in chains, not the capitalistic management, but real rock&roll. I love you (the audience) for that and I'm proud of you." Then he told the band "Gentelmen, please, rock&roll." 1:53:20 Jurek said: "18th Woodstock, a show like this never happened before, Sabaton, and I thank you (the audience) so much for the flag. Something incredible, simply emotional. Now let's try together, maybe they'll come out again." They all start chanting Sabaton! Jurek continues "If you're tired, that's your problem, but it's the 3rd day (of the festival) and I want you to be heard even by the sea (meaning far away). Sabaton! Come on, let's get louder! Sabaton!" And then after the crowd starts chanting and the band comes out again (which wasn't even planned before lol), he said "Allright, they are taking the guitars again, we're home now, they'll play again." After that Joakim asks the crowd if they should play "one more song" to which the crowd starts chanting "one more beer, drink up" 😆 And that's it 😁 Man, this show was epic 💖🔥
So good to see you smiling the whole concert😊 Ive seen them live 2 Times, and they are by far the best liveband i have ever seen, the energy they have and the interactions with the crowd is magic🤘
Unfortunately I couldn't be on live yesterday. Was just leaving to see THERION. Great band, check it out Now, I have this concert on my favorites. Started following Sabaton a year later in 2013, and I regret it until today 😅 Sabaton says, that up until today they did not have a bigger audience like the one at Woodstock, Poland (now Pol'n'rock). Yes, that song people sang after "40:1" is the Polish National Anthem. Very important words... Jeszcze jedno piwo=one more beer Pij do dna=bottoms up Fun fact: "The Lion from The North", King Gustavus Adolphus invaded Poland in what we call "Swedish Deluge", and Sweeds spent in Poland some years. But we love the song. It's really great, even better in swedish. 😂 I like your reaction very much. You get so engaged and you have so much fun doing it, that it is contagious. Greetings from Warsaw, Poland 🤘🔥🎶🇵🇱
Great reaction!!🤘I've been to 3 Sabaton concerts and it's counting. I wont stop until I'm put in a wooden box!🤘😁 This is THE most epic band I've ever seen live!! And I've been to quite a few festivals and seen a lot of huge bands. Daniel, if you get the chance to see these guys live, take it!! Btw, Nightwish is still on my bucket list. I bet they're as addictive as Sabaton.😃 Edit: "Lion from the North" is one of the most epic songs ever made!!😉
If you have the opportunity, go to the Sabaton concert. And I know what i said, because last year i was on Sabaton concert in Poland. Although in the United States there are no pyrotechnic effects at concerts, which is a big minus.
When I saw them in the US, I had no idea that they had the pyrotechnic effects. The US show was blasting great music, so the music definitely stands on its own, with pyros being icing on the cake.
Saw them last year with Eplca in Portland Oregon smaller venue was up close and personal was one of the best shows I have ever been to and I'm 64 been to hundreds of concerts in my life can't wait for them to return to the Roseland theater again with the fabulous EPICA this year
Yes, Portland 2022 was priceless:) I know they play these big festivals and venues. But even in the small Roseland Theatre, without pyro, this was an epic concert 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thankfully, there are some videos from this concert, and Seattle too. These are fun to watch!
@@tomnagel5769 What added to the great music was the fact that this was one of the first concerts after those years of not being able to go anywhere. When the bands started playing, it was so easy to see that everyone was so glad to be there .
The flag was a surprise for the band from the organizers. You can see their surprised smiles. Jerzy Owsiak later said in an interview that he was very stressed about unfurling the flag, because it had already been blessed by the priest and it could not be allowed to fall. The fans rose to the occasion.
The flag was blessed by the priest? Jurek only said, the flag is sacred and cannot be dirty. This is one of the basic rules: the flag must never touch the floor, ground, pavemont or water.
@@biaykot1982 Jurek said in an interview that the flag was "poświęcona" by the priest. It's not a word I use often in English and I had to use a dictionary to translate it, so maybe I didn't choose the best synonym ;) But it came down to stress that the flag may be dropped.
Hello . You asked two questions. Here's some advice. The first crowd sang the Polish national anthem. Secondly, this guy is a man who has been running the foundation for 32 years. Which organizes a fundraiser in Poland every year. He donates the money to the treatment of cancer and heart disease. It buys ambulances and medical equipment for hospitals. every year it also organizes a music festival like this one.
Let me start by thanking you for such a great reaction to this unforgettable SABATON concert. During the song 40:1, the flag that the fans spread was the initiative of the organizer "PRZYSTANEK WOODSTOCK" Jurek Owsiak, after this song, as you probably guessed, it was the first of the four verses of the Polish national anthem. "PRZYSTANEK WOODSTOCK" attracts approximately 500,000 fans to the concert every year, and there were over 750,000 fans at the SABATON concert. In 2012 it was the biggest concert of the SABATON group, it is still one of the biggest, we did everything we could to make the first DVD something special... just as the SABATON group is unique, in Poland it is very famous and respected for its work but also for what kind of people they are in general. Not many groups maintain this level of contact with their fans... and listen to their fans and write songs recommended by their fans. BISMARCK was created at the request of fans, the only song that was created without an album. The dedication to stories, heroes and families and, of course, to all of humanity that accompanies the creation of works, the detail of historical data is absolutely at the highest level. In addition, they share their success with other artists whom they invite to concerts to play side by side as equals... SABATON has become a legend in their lifetime. Greetings to the viewers of your channel and, of course, to you as well.
Finally listening to it on my way to work on a Monday morning here in gloomy Sydney, Australia. I got chills with the crowd singing Cliffs of Gallipoli- lest we forget the fallen ANZACS and the Turks....that was a catastrophe in the making. React to the Sabaton History on it if you haven't already done it - its in 2 parts.
My first meeting was at Rockefeller in Oslo, when Sabaton played with Hammerfall in 2009. Then three times in my hometown Trondheim. Fun fact from the concert in Trondheim in 2015, then Joakim lost a bet, and walked to Trondheim from Falun. He went on the days it suited 😜. The roughest concert was at Samfunnet when they were on tour with Accept. I love everything you reacting on, peace and love from Trondheim Norway 🤘🤘🤘.
