- My family and I sold everything Quit my job and went on an adventure to Florida to chase our dreams. So, we bought this beautiful 2016 Azimut 50 Atlantis from insurance auction that has been neglected by the previous owner, with plans to live on it after it is complete. We may charter or sell it in the future as we find new adventures. It has some components missing such as; GPS screen with engine gauges and radar with antennas. Some LED lights and speakers were missing. Most of the items are rusted and dirty. The twin Cummins 8.3L diesel engines are good but need everything around them. Also, needs some touch up paint, bottom paint and some gel coat.
Planning to do some island hopping around Florida Keys do some snorkeling and fishing and maybe one day do a trip to the Bahamas.

Not gonna be a know it all.This is my occupation . But Google this question. Can I use bottom paint on aluminum?
I don't have an aluminum hull... and the swimming platform mechanism is stainless steel.
Any metal parts should never be coated with a bottom paint without a barrier.. ive only done more than 1000 hulls. Seen many find out the hard way. You will as well if your putting her in the salt. This is why they make special paints for it Such as Pettit vivid. What exact paint did you use? I am trying to be helpful btw

I will look into which paint it was and will double-check. It was recommended by some boat shop near me, and said it was fine for stainless steel. But I will double check. Thanks 👍
@@Khlevnoy You dont need me for the next part. Look to see if what you used has a Copper Biocide as most do. Unfortunately if it does you will want to strip and repaint any metal parts with atleast an epoxy barrier.

After grinding your channel and watching you rebuild this beautiful yacht I'm beginning to wonder if you had the boat Surveyed .. I'm guessing the answer was no with the amount of faults your finding
