    Rebuilding our 50 foot Azimut yacht. In this episode we are pulling wires and installing additional electronics that were not there before. Items such as starlink internet with wifi, FLIR night vision camera and solar panels with chargers.
    My family and I sold everything, I Quit my job and went on an adventure to Florida to chase our dreams. So, we bought this beautiful 2016 Azimut 50 Atlantis from an auction that has been neglected by the previous owner, with plans to live and travel in the Florida Keys on it after it is complete. We may charter or sell it in the future as we find new adventures. It had some components missing such as; GPS screen with engine gauges and radar with antennas. Some LED lights and speakers were also missing. Most of the items are rusted and dirty. The twin Cummins 8.3L diesel engines are good but needed to be rebuilt and also needed everything around them. Very soon we will start on touch up paint, bottom paint has been completed and currently working on gel coat.
    Planning to do some island hopping around Florida Keys do some snorkeling and fishing and maybe one day do a trip to the Bahamas.
    Check out our other videos as we traveled across the US.

      Thank you.
      Do you have a generator on your boat?
      Trying to figure out why mine won't spin. It just starts to and then everything shuts off and turns back on and keeps repeating over and over.

      I did have a generator on my boat but it went for crap and I ended up removing it but it almost sounds like there's too much draw from the starter and a relay is tripping and then reactivating again or could possibly be the motherboard. I feel your pain. I have a project boat that I've been working on for 4 years. Still haven't got all the bugs out of it. Good luck on your venture! There's a guy up here in Canada that repairs fridges and freezers, so if you haven't gotten yours repaired yet, it may be worth it. Let me know

    Just a sugestión unscrew the front supports of the engine use a jack to lift the engine and see if you can remove the transmission without removing the whole engine, love the work you are doing on that awsome yacht!! Did you check the alacranes reef? Greetings from Mexico!!!

    Engine alignment took the cutlass and the gear seal out. It must be way off. I'd change the seal , put fresh oil in, run it, and then flush it see how it goes.

    get work, per usual. Question/comment. The light addition can't fold down? Are you worried about height restrictions, like when you start travelling and going under bridges, especially down ICWs.

    • @Khlevnoy
      @Khlevnoy  5 месяцев назад

      No, just height restriction for transporting on the truck.

    Hi Alex! I wanted to ask where did you buy the boat from? I am looking to buy one almost like the one you have and work on it too. Can you let me know what auction you attended and if you would like to disclose how much was the purchase?

    Generally those underwater lights should Not be powered on until in the water. The heat can damage them.

    • @Khlevnoy
      @Khlevnoy  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment. We are learning a lot about boats, and this makes sense. We didn't have it on for very long but did want to make sure that they work before we drop it in the water. 😁

      @@Khlevnoy What sealant did you use for the under water lights? Did you put sealant in the screw holes as well?

    • @Khlevnoy
      @Khlevnoy  6 месяцев назад +1

      @user-ft7jg3fe4z we used silicone. Good catch, I will go back and add sealant to the screws as well.

    • @VasiliosParaskevopoulos
      @VasiliosParaskevopoulos 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Khlevnoy You should only be using 3M Marine sealants for under the water line. 4200 or 5200. It's imperative you seal it correctly with the correct product and that you cover the screws/ screw holes. If you don't do this water will ingress and rot your transom
