Just got home from work , seen the new notification , grabbed a beer and watched every minute .Well done mate your productions just get better by the week , i don't own a Navara but again i watched every bit of the 15.54 mins of this latest upload and you are editing these clips so well and giving such an honest and descriptive account of everything you film its always a pleasure to watch .Keep it going Tyler :)
Tyler is right with what he says in the video. The lever is for auto adjusting headlights, as the vehicle is loaded or unloaded the headlights will obviously point upwards or downwards accordingly. Not to be confused with a brake proportioning valve (what you are suggesting) Brake proportioning valves are used on older, non-abs equipped vehicles and as you say, decrease/increase brake force depending on load, however are a mechanical system. Will be very obvious as it will actually have brake lines coming in and out of the valve and not just a sensor as you see here. As you said Tyler it might not be very obvious that the headlights are functioning any different, but getting a bracket will get them working properly again. 👍
@@tomschannel5380 What Mazda? Recent model as well as current model bt-50s don't (same class of car as Tyler's) So I'm just curious. I'm not set on proving anyone wrong, but I can put the correct information out there if people want to hear it. Or people can add a bracket to their headlight levelling sensor and expect the brakes to work better... doesn't bother me.
Phwoar she’s got some Flex alright!!! Love ya content mate especially when I see ya Dad after a good track, His smile is a thousand miles wide😁 Very cool indeed,,
Wrap the brake lines in spiral wrap so then the spiral wrap rubs instead? then it rubs through? then you're back to square one. The brake line needs repositioning and/or securing somehow. That is very poor how it is currently.
Tip with your braided lines at the back, get some fuel hose, cut it down the centre length ways and push it over the braided lines, if the fuel hose slides or moved over the top use 2 cable ties either end. It will be quiet and also protect
Great clip again mate. I think you’ll find if your Nav’ has factory fitted LED headlights, that would be what your sensor is for. Because LED’s are so bright, they must always remain properly aligned otherwise they can be quite dazzling and blinding to oncoming traffic. Hence why it’s illegal to just go and throw a pair of eBay special LED gloves in cars that weren’t factory fitted with them originally, because they often can’t be adjusted properly nor do they have the required headlight washer jets as required under the ADR. Good stuff mate, keep up the great work 👍👍
hi Tyler , nice explanation about ur suspension look good awesome for travel at rear . the sensor is to adjustment for the front head lights to low the low light ,when the tray is loaded and full with stuff low so will adjust and low the h/lights alignment .
Deffs buy the head light adjuster bracket. Makes a massive difference. When your lights are on, go out the back and push on the arm, you will see the projected light slowly aim upwards
To a place like frazer. . . the 30" tyres are the biggest i can legally put on. i think 32 would fit though. as an alt Would an inexpensive china e;locker make a difference on stuff like soft sand?
Hi mate, Im saving up for a lift atm. Ive decided on Fulcrum Formula 2". I was going to go with the Superpro adjustable UCA's. I see you say you wouldnt again go that way. Can you recommend an alternative?
Hey mate, just wanted to say love your videos and have gained a heap on knowledge from them as I have a 2017 St-X. I have a quick question for you. have you done anything in regards to your front or rear sway bar ands the links? last weekend went out and somehow managed to pop the ball out of the socket on my front left sway bar link. cheers dude
@@TylerThompson90 hahah my bad definitely heaps better with travel now I own a Hilux so keen to get it like that for sure love your content mate keep em coming 🤙🏻
Did you it engineered or not worried about legal and insurance ? Brake lines, trailing arms, panhard rod are some of the changes that should be engineered
Have you looked at putting on a front diff drop kit? You can fit big tyres with standard suspension, then you can set your suspension up with more wheel droop and better handling on and off road.
I wish more utes came coil rear, unless you always have a huge weight, coils are king!

Thanks mate, I appreciate the feedback. Glad you're enjoying it
Love the Italian hand signals describing the suspension 😂
😂😂
Great stuff buddy, with 33,s/rear locker/lift and sick suspension your 4wd is a weapon, plus your not bad driving 😂😂😂
Add an anti-chafe guard to your brake lines. Might help with your concerns of rubbing. Spiroll is a good brand. Great video, awesome flex
Thanks mate, I'll look into it!
That setup is bloody awesome
I think that lever thing you mention at 12:00 is for the brakes and it gives more braking force to the rear brakes when it's loaded.
Yeah okay well if its that I better get that extended bracket for it! haha
@@TylerThompson90 I wonder if you could have it connected to a cable and a lever inside? talk to a mechanic

@@tomschannel5380 What vehicle would that be? All new vehicles have abs, in which case the wheel speed sensor does it's job perfectly.

I’m jealous, I need to work on my leaf spring for more flex 💪🏻
Tyler, spiral wrap your brake lines and they won't rub. And get the outback armour bump stops
Okay thanks mate! Ill check them out

Love your channel mate, but cracks me up that the flex in the first 15 seconds is all solid rear axle flex (not the IFS)... But keep up the great work
Nice upgrade. The Nav just gets better and better.
Cheers mate!

Hi Tyler l did rear axle similar at my 2018 Prado 3 years ago and l’m happy. Have a nice day.
Yeah awesome mate!
Great vis! Hope u get 100k subscribers soon!
I really like these D23's... Love the coils rear end set up.... yours is flexing very nicely.
thanks mate!
Happy the MUX is like this stock
some electrical conduit or hydraulic line wrap for the brake lines will help them last longer
Tyler you are a grizzly Adam look alike! 😂 that beard mate Amazing! 👍
haha, thanks mate!

Good vid. I was thinking you could try a rubber hose surround on your rear braided lines to help with the knocking 👌
Just ordered exactly the same tray and canopy setup from gworks for my Navara. 👍
How much is that costing?
Awesome mate!
Geez she's well set up now.
Yep pretty happy with it!
Great flex now. I had to do a coil conversion on my Ranger to get it to flex and what a difference that has made. Similar flex to your Nav I think.
Cheers mate!
Tyler - speaking honestly how does it handle on the road now you’d but the 4 inch shocks in. Also how does it feel on off camber tracks?
Geez Tyler do you ever sleep?! Absolutely smashing them out! 😂👍
haha, nope! Thanks mate!
Italians need the hand signs good stuff mate
Yep 😂
Cool thanks I’ve wanted to know about that for a while
Seems like there's a lot of lines out the back that could be easily caught by sticks etc and be pulled out?
That will work good stuff Tyler👍✌
Yep!

Rear sway bar is currently out and front is just factory
@@TylerThompson90 thanks a lot dude. for your daily driving do you reconnect the rear sway bar or just leave it out?
SAS SWAP🔥😂
Put some Electrical split tube over your brake lines. Helps save your brake lines.
Hey mate, love your work! What wheel make and size are you running? I am finding it difficult to find good looking rims and yours look great!
Cheers mate. Wheels are 16 inch ROH vapour's on a +20 offset. Tyre is 285/75/R16
@@TylerThompson90 Thank you!
Some bit of kit 👍 🏴
Do you know if it’s possible use rear patrol shock ? For navara d23 ? And what patrol year ?
Aren’t your 33’s illegal for your vehicle ? Since they’re above the 7% increase in diameter from the stock tyres that came with the car.
Where's the little vegemite? Solid axle 70's don't flex much do they? The 80 can though for sure. We need Navaras or coil conversions.
love the vid mate, i also have a np300
Thanks mate!
That is the” auto head light height leveller” Tyler
Okay thanks mate!
What are those tail lights
teraflex universal brake line anchors will fix your brake line issue.
thanks!
Yeah Baby
Didn’t you have a Hilux? How much did your rear suspension setup cost ya
