    You should give the T2 classic a run through that test bed. It would be interesting!

    Looking at the fisher f44 and the Garrett ace 400. I’m digging coins, jewelry, and civil war relics mostly. What’s your opinion on which one to buy?

      @@freddymarcel-marcum6831 I went with the Fisher 44. I really like it. It’s a little chatty, but seems like a fine detector.

    Sounds great, are all the F series coils the same, could I use my F-75 LTD on this? I was thinking of getting this as a backup for my rainy days here in Japan.
    Thanks again for a great video

    I have the f44 and just ordered the NEL thunder coil. I hope to pull better depth. I've been very happy so far with the detector. Went to a civil war battlefield that had bullets about 10" and only found 1 as compared to my buddy with At Pro that found 8. Hoping for better results with the NEL.

      Do you know if the Nel coil for the eurotek pro fits the f44?

    I like that detector, light and simple to use.

    I am ordering one Tomorrow.I was going to buy a Garrett AT PRO but I don’t need it to be able to be submerged just OK to get wet if it rains on me.I will be going from a Bounty Hunter 3300 & a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II to the FISHER F44 so hopefully I will see a big difference.

      @@bleirdo_dude I purchased a T2+ and I used it less than 3 hours before I ended up having Spinal,Lower Back,& Shoulder Surgeries so I can no longer use it so it just sits in my Man Cave collecting dust.I purchased lots of extras as well and most are in the zippered bag I also purchased.👎🏻

      Probably 25. so far the nokta fors core and the vaquero have been all around the best. need to run the v3i and etrac though. I had the v3i for quite awhile and would say the core holds its own against it. other than being single frequency.

    New to MD but not at all impressed with the F44. Bought an Intey with LCD and backlight, for £75. Never been out of box. Was thinking of upgrading to Garrett Int Pro Max but saw a review on that which put me off. Not going to mess around,:gonna save for mid-range priced minelab. Thanks for review though!

      Lee Ryan. I don't like the AT pro international so I purchased two American AT Pro's. Great machines. They paid for a Garrett infinium and a Garrett AT Gold. I bought the two AT Pro's because I keep a sniper coil on one, saves a lot of coil change time. I'm in Australia by the way. Cheers.

    thanks for this review .... was thinking of getting one but honestly my old F2 still has way better depth with its DD coil .... Deepest target ever dug up was an aluminium can at 54cm .... 12 inch coin targets are regular with the F2 so the F44 is most definitely NOT an improvement at all...

    • @scannerguy1968
      @scannerguy1968  9 лет назад

      I've never used any other f series fishers other than the f19 so wouldn't know. Keep in mind soil conditions are different everywhere. Plus a coin that has been in the ground 20 years will pull better than 1 year due to halo effect of the metal reacting. You are probably right for depth though. I tend to see upgraded models with more features pulling the same. Not sold on this coil design yet either.

    Where to order the coil cover from (F44)?

  • @camprandy
    @camprandy 9 лет назад

    how does that have the constant hum, i got mine today and it does not do that. Also how do you use the iron audio feature and how do you manually ground balance?

    • @scannerguy1968
      @scannerguy1968  9 лет назад +1

      I testef it and sold it a little after so going from memory here. You have to be in all metal to turn up the thresh hold. I do bwlieve you have to be in all metal to ground balance but do not remember exactly what you need to do. Should be other videos on for that.

    Are these Silver or clad coins in the you're test bed ? And for under 500 which is best on silver on a reliable 8'' target ? I have read so many reviews on how a lot of detectors are hot on clad but not silver. Currently using Ace 400,,and it is great on silver,,,but man that machine makes you work you're wrist and arm out to get those signals,,, Yes the Garrett ace wiggle works,,but like i said you're wrist and shoulders take a little whoopin at the end of the day over it.would like to find something lighter but as dependable on silver targets. Any suggestions ?
