I thought the Sontanrans plan wasn't to change the atmosphere to make it breathable, but it make it act as "clone feed" to help them create a new clone army.
Great opening sequence! I personally rather liked some of the easter eggs in this two parter like the Gas Mask and U.N.I.T in the 70's/80's.

The TARDIS was lit very dimly with very green overtones from the console in series 1 and 2 however literally from series 2 onwards they start to light it very golden and bright, they reshot Donna Noble's first scene from Doomsday to The Runaway Bride to reflect this, if you go and watch her scene in Doomsday is dark and green and then in The Runaway Bride its golden and bright. Then in The Doctor's Wife when the console room returns, it is dim again.

You guys actually have fantastic comedic timing and acting skills. Your little skits are some of my favourite things you do. If you guys had the time I'd totally watch longer versions of Doctor Matt and his bumbling, Jamie-esque sidekick Billy.

Great video guys! That sketch at the beginning had me in stitches haha, please do more of them. I haven't saw these episodes in a few years but I remember enjoying them but seen a lot of their flaws.

What I hated in this was the Doctor whinging about hating people because they have a gun. it's like
DOCTOR: "I am not talking to you, because you have a gun D< WAAH shame on you!"
Matt Gamble it really makes no sense when you consider the 3rd doctors friendship and association with the Brig, Benton and Yates etc
The whole bit with the Doctor saying finding a mobile phone in the Middle Ages isn't saying time travel has been used he's saying that it's Earth technology that could be made in 2008 but humans don't have the technical knowledge to make it at that point in time so the Sontarans made it for Luke and ATMOS
Would you be interested in reviewing rise of the cybermen and the age of Steel ?

But the thing is that the ATMOS system actually works exactly as intended and advertised, the Doctor even says as much when he examines one, they really DO make cars clean, and the gas released is presumably stored in canisters that are timeshifted (Which makes no sense at all since the Sontarans should not have that level of technology, according to every script and book so far they NEVER get that level of technology, they're a stagnant clone race, they just use what works.)

Loved the review, don't agree with it entirely but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Great Dark Eyes cosplay! Just a quick question, where did you read the original synopsis of Nightmare in Silver? I haven't read it and just saying it had Invasion cybermen in it got me very interested haha.

Meanwhile, Nightmare in Silver could have had Cybermen from The Invasion. And people who love the new series/Russel T Davies era the most wonder why I'm a grump with a chip on my shoulder. I really need to lighten up, make something with classic Cybermen in it myself.
Series 2-4 are the ones I'll never touch with a barge pole, and series 6 reluctantly with a short stick. But that's only to be expected within 50 years of content, every franchise goes through dips in quality, sometimes epically bad ones, and geeks fight over it on the internet (mainly RUclips comments and message boards.)

I honestly don't know how I'd feel about the Doctor being a woman.... whether it could work or not, where I'd like it.... I'm not dead-set against it like Matt, but I'm worried it'd be worse than the Tennant years (sorry, sexist ^^;) on smack, and like my High School years, I'd have to avoid the whole show for that era.
Well, I didn't avoid it, but I got apathetic about it. And like Matthew says, it doesn't feel the same as Series 1, tonally over time the Tennant era got too much like a little kid's show than proper Doctor Who for adults and children. It felt so dumbed down and moronically silly with the music and the acting and writing and everything. The emotions feel so forced and phony, when it's trying to make you cry or laugh or whatever, and that's a very very New Series thing but only the Tennant years can make me feel sick of it.
Am I the only one who thinks David Tennant's acting was hammy as the Doctor? Everything about his era is hammy......

*I'm going to be really arrogant and say, in regards to what they said about it feeling like a CBBC show. I think it was a CBBC show in 2008 when Tennant was the Doctor and the Sarah Jane Adventures was going on and the Stolen Earth/Journeys End happened as the finale. I grew out of the Tennant era and I think anybody who hasn't needs to grow up in a sense. It's like Mother's Milk, it's like spoon feeding you emotions and teaching you what to feel and when. As though we humans need to learn to have a conscience and lean to have real emotions. It's tasteless, sappy and awkward.*

People in Dr Who cry all the time. Sometimes it's something that you can under stand and at times it's along the line of yes alright the persons upset get on with it and other times your like real? this is what your crying over? spilt beans!

In terms of one enemy I want to make a return for the next series I'd have to say the Sontarons. We need another good Sontaron story again and we need to be reminded on how menacing they actually are
