    You are making this power runs in six gear?

    Hello does a wheel speed sensor and slick tyre compound affect results? I have a 1199 panigale only getting 169 whp with a full termignoni exhaust

      Jane Golding-Bezer it can. Should not change the reading too much. But some stickier compounds create more friction and do effect the results slightly. You should not see anything significant to your horsepower readings.

    How much would running lean affect horsepower?

      BIG Papa NINJA running lean effects horsepower significantly. Lean conditions cause engine to burn hotter. More importantly, the engine fuel ratio is receiving too much air. When the air fuel ratio is not optimized, the engine can’t make the proper horsepower.

    Other than taking readings, can you modify the bike's map to increase performance?

    • @industrysgarage7624
      @industrysgarage7624  5 лет назад

      George Michael yes, modifying the bike’s map is a common occurrence to increase performance. The base readings are essential to determine map modifications. With each performance adjustment, a new reading will determine if the change helped to increase engine performance.

    Never have I ever seen it take two people to run a bike on a dyno???

      kcadby glad you watched the video. Normally, it only takes one person to run a Dyno. Having a second person just makes it easier.

      @@industrysgarage7624 I have done complete tunes on probably 1,000 bikes on three different Dynojet dynos so I know what it takes (and that's why it's SO weird watching a guy yanking on the shifters in both of your dyno videos) 🙄

      @@KCadbyRacing they are Harley guys, what do you expect, gotta have a good firm grasp on their shift knobbs from other guys 😂😂
