While you opinion is valid naturally, I am personally very happy. It is not perfect, but as a backer, I found many things I loved and will provide a good base for a second instalment. I even got the logo as tattoo.
I'm glad I didn't buy it. Though I definitely was on the hype train too. That's why I don't trust streamer who get pre-released keys. They are just bought to advertise a game. I would alwasys play the demo version if available. You only know wether a game works for you if you tried it yourself. If you are unsere and there is no demo then I'd wait for enough proper reviews.
There’s certainly a handful of things that need tweaking, but I’m having a blast with it personally. I’m betting some things will be patched but it’s still somehow got the vibes to carry it to my top 3 of the year so far, along with Star Ocean SSR and Unicorn Overlord.
