    Hi I’m a 19 year old italian dude who just got diagnosed with celiac last year. The struggle of having to give up all the pasta and bread was crazy!

    Thank you Asia for sharing your story. I didn't get diagnosed with Celiac Disease until I was in my 40s and can only imagine the challenges of living with it as a young child and teen. I've struggled with anxiety as well. I did find out that often things like low iron can trigger the anxiety so it is important to have your nutrient levels especially for iron, B12, and Vitamin D checked regularly. It is definitely a frustrating illness to deal. You look you are doing an excellent job dealing with it. Maintain your positive attitude and don't let the diagnosis hold you back from having a wonderful life.

    Wow Asia, I just found out that I have Celiac at 23 years of age. I've had spots on my teeth since I was rather young. When you mentioned the spotting on your teeth, I looked at them and they look nearly identical to mine.
    Weird, never thought it might have to do with Celiac.

      I’m glad that you were able to get diagnosed now rather than later! Regarding the spotting, when I went to the dentist, even they had no idea why there were those spots on my teeth for a long time. So, I can definitely relate!

    Thank you for sharing your story. I was just ffg diagnosed last month with Celiac and I am really trying to recover from feeling bad. You mentioned you had stomach aches. Did you have sharp pains in your stomach before being diagnosed or feel really tender in your abdomen? I am having these issues, but I have only been gluten free for about 3 weeks. I was just wondering when did you start to feel better after going gluten free? Thanks for sharing your story!

    It’s hard to imagine as an Italian, to give up pizza, pasta and bread. 🥖 But good thing, you were able to catch this auto immune disease early. Some patients are misdiagnosed and took them years before they got a confirmatory result.

    It was gluten Neuropathy. It hurts like hell! I only have the intolerance but I have met other people who had less symptoms than me with no villi. My entire body was on fire like I’m not playing I had to call an ambulance like five times. I told him it was a wheat allergy and they didn’t want to believe me when I was in the hospital I was in so much pain they ended up knocking me out with medication that contains a lot of gluten miss diagnosing me and then giving me even more medication that had gluten so when I woke up my instinct was to leave and I kept pulling the the medication out of my IV and wasting the money or whatever and they let me do it because I’m a dude and if they would’ve just listened when you look up a Wheat allergy . Because I respond to the EpiPen in the ambulance you need to start breaking out that the person is celiac.

    please can you tell me what's your diet like.
    Do you eat meat and vegetables (and dairy)?

    • @asia_alesci
      @asia_alesci 3 года назад +1

      Eating gluten-free nowadays is much easier than it used to be when I was first diagnosed. My diet includes a vast variety of foods: whether it’s vegetables, gluten-free bread- I HIGHLY recommend the brand “Schär” (they have so many gf choices, and every single one I have tried is delicious!), gluten-free pasta, and gluten-free pizza. I don’t eat much meat out of my own preference for vegetables instead, but even that is totally fine! Regarding dairy, although I am Lactose Intolerant, my symptoms have gotten to a much lesser extremity. Therefore, I do eat foods with dairy, but at a limited amount. I hope this helps you out😊

    Ye must be born again.
    Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    Acts 20:21 - Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
    John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
    John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
    Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    Romans 10:9-13 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
    2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    2 Corinthians 13:5 - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
    Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    2 Thessalonians 1:6-12 - Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
