Do I know what colour tag is? Heck no, I don't even know what flipping day it is now, running up to Christmas. Stuff everywhere in the house and a 3 year old running around. But Grandma is happy with the chaos - yes I am. lol
Those pop art prints are great. I would get them all, take them out of the ugly frames, and sell them as a set for $100. Then you can just roll up and ship them off.
Hi Karen, Merry Christmas 🎄 I opened up my stocking today and my Husband bought a beautiful necklace from you and your hand written card was included. So kind of you. I follow you closely and watch all of your videos. He knows you are such a favorite of mine. Made my Holiday. Merry Christmas to you and Roger. ❤
I spoke with an associate that works at Goodwill, regarding there pricing. She told me it’s the store Manager that determines what the prices are. So each store manager sets the prices? She said yes. So, this is why 1 Goodwill has low prices, verses the one in the next towns prices that are much, much higher.
I’ve been told by the highest management that independent pricers are brought in and train employees giving that individual pricer bonuses for how many of their items sell with the highest price. So exact items can be priced differently depending on which pricer set the price
@@lavenderclotheslinewhen you’re at the register and an item you want to purchase doesn’t have a price sticker. The Goodwill’s I visit in CT have to get a manager to tell them what to charge me. If the people who work there are trained in pricing they should be able to do this on their own. Also, I remembered, I’ve seen, when someone is in an isle shopping, and theirs no price, an employee has to go get a manager for a price.
Regardless, for a store who receives a majority of the supplies/ items by donation I feel like there should be a price cap. The premise for buying second hand was supposed to be affordability. Training and all of the programs developed came later on. Goodwill, Salvation Army and all of the thrift or resell stores should be grateful for the donations and stop being so greedy! I am well aware that they have overhead and employees and all the things, it would be nice if they could just for once consider the consumers that make the businesses function and thrive! Without us there would be NO them! Happy Holidays everyone and have safe travels wherever you find yourself this holiday! Stay safe Karen and Roger and Merry Christmas you love birds ❤

Art Frames: as you stack, transport and store framed art (such as the framed linen pair) I suggest you stack them front to front and back to back, to limit additional wear. If you stack them all in the same direction, the framing and hanging hardware on the back of 1 rubs directly against the front of another. When I shelf them, I use cardboard sections or foam board pieces between each piece to prevent additional wear.
The next group (cat/dog) of frames show just what I mean. That kind of wear and scratching results from moving them around. The hardware on the backs causes the damage.
@@lavenderclothesline Yes, so so true. I suspect they were in much better shape when they were donates. I have passed up on a lot of nice art over the years because of frame damage. Happy Holidays and enjoy your Vaca to FL.
The Chicago Bulls trash 🏀🏀🏀can is a large item to attract traffic into the booth and can hold golf clubs etc.? Maybe make a corner of sports 🏈 items to attract the sports fans in and another part of the booth can have other goodies. What fun
You did great with the pop-art ,personally I never worry about the frames they can be painted. I'm an artist and get most of my frames at Goodwill to save money!!
True that painting the frames can hide a lot of sins. I myself used to do my own matting and framing, to increase the appeal of the art I found at estates and storage units (back when my business model was clearing large quantities), but as Karan has said in the past that the way some stores chose to re-sell art is a shame, while others display them so well on art walls. I suspect that if more stores handled and stored them better they would see a notable increase in both the prices art brought and number of sales. They would sell more to those folks who aren't looking for more projects.
Wishing you, your family and all your viewers a Merry Christmas. Will have to watch the video a little later, getting ready for Christmas Eve celebration.
Have read most of your comments and I have to agree that I would have bought all of the pop art whether it had a chip on the frame or not because nine times out of 10 they're going to change the frame or paint it anyway so I really feel you should have bought all
No Holds Barred: is a wrestling term. Back when I wrestled in high school we were prevented from using certain holds on our opponent. Choke holds are often among holds that are outlawed (barred). So, to wrestle with No Holds Barred simply means no rules and the phrase’s usage has become common and means: No Restrictions.

At the 21:16 mark those amber glass canisters on the lower right side of the screen were worth checking out. If either were LE Smith they might be a good item for the booth.
The bull dog print was the best of the lot. 200 is the number of lithograph prints made, so it was a limited print ( not made out of a copier or photographed). Under 500 is a medium lot. Under 100 is a small lot. The top number is which order the print was made. Lower numbers are worth more because they tend to be cleaner and sharper prints. Sharon G here. The cat artist is Ron Burns.
If on a print it has say 70over 200 that means its a limited addition its the 70th print out of 200 signed prints..
Love the video ❤❤❤❤
On the prints the bottom number is the number made and top number is where that one is in the order of production
That is correct
Print numbers:
200 is how many were made
80 is what number this one is
The lower the number the better
Correct
My guess is that if the prices are higher inventory isn’t flipping much. Lower prices inventory always newer
FYI, I can tell the song in the background when your looking at the cat pictures is The Fray. I knew it the minute it came on.
