I am living alone for quite some time and recently have been quite ill, as a result of the fear of more attacks I have developed panic attacks and a lot of anxiety, which have made me fear of night time and sleeping. I have found your site and I would like to thank you so much... after a few nights (and days) you have helped me to overcome several fears, also instead of taking medication to calm me - I listen to you, and am now feeling so much better.... I cannot thank you enough for your help. I intend to listen every night and as much as I need... it is much better and more relaxing of the whole body and mind to listen to you and follow what you say than taking meds. And again, thank you, and please continue helping others as well, it is wonderful to have someone like you to turn to. God bless.

Dearest Nick. My adult children who always lived at home moved away. My husband ended dying of a rare form of cancer and the silence in my home was deafening. I had two break ins at my home and i have developed such a fear of being alone at night. i got a dog but that didn’t help me at all. The doctor has me on so many meds i can’t deal with the side effects. The sleep meds work some nights and others not. i have tried many forms of sleep hypnosis but the voices irritated me and kept me away. I must say i am pleasantly surprised using your videos. I get a great deep sleep and don’t wake up with a drugged feeling or migraines from migraines. Your voice is the most calming i have ever heard. Thank you for giving me my sleep and peace back. I am a huge fan of your work.
    Regards Linda.

Samantha, when my husband died in August 2021, my children set me up in a nice 2 bedroom appointment. I would sleep on the couch most of the time. I was afraid I couldn't get out if there was a fire. And I was so lonely. The lonely ess was the worst. First I listened to music and then steviejo, but Nic Wright's tone of voice made me feel secure . It took me a while to move back into the bedroom. I bought an electric blanket and I listen to Nic during naps and at bedtime. Like I said his tone of voice made me feel safe and secure.

I have been a chronic insomniac since I've been a child , came from is a very abusive home , sleep was something you feared and I carried that my whole, iim.very hyper vigilant so I was skeptical about sleep hypnosis. Until I found you . I won't say I'm all the way there with it yet but it has helped me immensely in how to breathe , my panic was high at bedtime . I listen to you and your soothing voice every night and I may not get alot of sleep yet I will continue on the journey nightly . I can't thank you enough for getting me this far. You made me believe sleeping is not something to fear but something to embrace. My deepest gratitude 😊

I often wake up way too early. I call it "the crack of stupid." b/c I can fall asleep standing up when I push my self to stay awake or had a physically grueling day b.c I am a spine patient and if I sleep in an odd position or get up too early I try to meditate and get up at a later time. I have an appointment and I did a great healing meditation but was revitalized not relaxed. I have my trusted many yrs hypnosis people b/c I can shut someone right off b/c some people do bad things with hypnosis skills. Although I can self hypnotise. Today I had a small window to grab an hour or two sleep and I have to tell you. My alarm went off and I slept over it by 20 minutes. I feel like I just slept for 8 full hours. I subscribed. Fantastic. I am looking forward to more. I kept this specific one for times like today and WOW. Great Job! I have not added anyone new to meditation & sleep for over a year! You get a winner ribbon! This Hypnosis recording is amazing, it puts me to sleep quickly and helps me stay asleep all night. This will be the one I use from now on. I hope many others find this wonderful treasure so that they can have a restful and peaceful sleep too. Thank you so much!❤

Hey Nick, I just wanted to express my gratitude for helping me sleep better. I've been using this audio for the past two nights and I've been having some really interesting dreams. In one dream, I was in an old church surrounded by doves, and I was speaking to a dark shadow. It was strange, but I felt safe. Then, last night, I dreamt that I was a man from the 1920s, and it felt so real. But what's been bothering me is that I hurt a lot of women in that dream, and it's been weighing on my mind all day. I'm not sure what's going on, but at least I'm finally able to sleep deeply. Thanks again, and God bless you. 🤍✨

Hi - thanks for listening and taking the time to write. I'm not an expert or specialist in dream interpretation so not sure how to comment on your experience other than that many people have dreams where they behave differently to real life. It's quite common also for your subconscious to become a little more active during/following hypnosis. I wouldn't read too much into the dream content. I'm pleased you are sleeping better. Nick

What usually happens when I listen to these videos is that it takes me a minute to bet comfortable, then I just kinda zone out. I don't remember falling asleep or ever hearing the end of the talk. All I remember is listening one moment and waking up the next. I- I honestly was not expecting these videos to work, but I no kidding have been RELYING on these to help me sleep. I tried one night to sleep without this channel, and I just gave up. I ended up turning in a video and bam. Instant sleep.

Thanks Emily. Glad you find it helpful. There’s a lot of language in the sessions that is designed to just wear out and confuse your conscious mind so that in the end it just gives up trying to make sense and gives way to the sleep suggestions. And then over a period of time your brain gets conditioned to feel sleepy when you hear the same voice. Anyhow, hope that explains it. My best, Nick

I could cry. By 4:30 am I had been laying in bed with my eyes closed for 3 hours. At this point it was way too late for any sleeping pill to wear off before my 6 am alarm. I wanted to cry as it's been like this for a month now. Hopeless, hypnosis popped into my mind. I was even weary about one called "deep" sleep because it was so close to my alarm time. I decided to give it a try anyway and honestly the next thing I I knew I woke up. 5 minutes before my alarm instantly thinking how refreshed I felt. I hadn't even realized I feel asleep!!! I. Feel. So. Gooood. Off less than 2 hours sleep! So when I said I could cry, I meant how well this worked and how thankful I am. Im supposed to leave the house at 6:50 but I usually leave at 7:03 after hitting snooze until 6:45. @@NicholasWrightHypnotherapy I've been working with hypnosis, both giving and receiving, for most of my life. I've found that, for some reason, once the talking stops I seem to come up long enough to turn off the recording before going all the way to sleep. I suspect it's because hypnosis really isn't sleep--it's the opposite--and for me to really go unconscious I need to stop the sound effects? I'm not sure. Do you run into this issue with others who use recordings? I can't help but wonder if an 8-hour recording of non-stop talking would keep me from true sleep or if I'd just finally drift off. Any interest in trying something like that?

    • @suehypno4u

@@NicholasWrightHypnotherapy I'm not sure if you take requests, but now that I think about it, I'd love it if you could do a video to help someone simply become a better hypnotic subject? I've practiced enough (live, recordings, and self) that I can go into at least a medium trance almost instantly, but then I seem to just stall there and drift up and down a bit, but never deep enough to experience some of the things others do. I'm sure it's trust issues (you don't mingle within the online hypnosis community for decades without getting burned here and there). The fact that your technique had a nice impact on me gives me hope that maybe I can finally clear that last hurdle to fully letting go and not even caring if that background noise keeps going, etc. I'd be willing to commission something if you feel it wouldn't fit within the goals of your channel here.

    • @NicholasWrightHypnotherapy
      @NicholasWrightHypnotherapy  Год назад +3

Hi Susan, thanks again for writing, and for the questions. Everybody responds to hypnosis in a unique way. The hypnosis we're talking about here, though, is sleep hypnosis. So the goal of these sessions is initially to help people relax and to then use the suggestions within the hypnotic language to ease them into sleep. As you said, hypnosis certainly is not a state of sleep, but of being in a state of trance where you're more receptive to suggestion - in this case to the suggestion of sleep! So it's a two-part process - the hypnotic induction, the suggestion and then, finally, the sleep. Personally, I find that if I listen to an 8-hour sleep hypnosis, I'll drift off but then wake up maybe a couple of hours later, turn the session off and just go back to sleep. But that's just me. I have a lot of listeners who say they want more 8-hour sessions because they need to have that soft background sound to keep them asleep. I guess whatever works for you, is what you should keep doing. I hope that helps. Thanks again, Nick

Hi, I'm struggling with my sleep going back to when I was a teen-ager and I have tried most things. Then just recently I have been trying guide meditation and I'm blowing away , normally it could take me a few hours to actually fall ASLEEP but and I was still being waking up in the middle of the night.
But since I have been using this app among others I don't even remember if I how long I'm listening to it before I go asleep . So I actually recorded myself to see if I was losing and turning long before I fell asleep and I was amazed by what I heard in little under 24 minutes I was hear myself snoring and and not a movement from me until I AWAKE the next morning
So I'm not just getting to sleep again but I'm even felling better with my mood and other things that make you like a different person . So I have to really take this opportunity to say keep doing what you're doing as if it can work for me it can work for anyone . GOD bless you and I am looking forward to hearing new ones that you have to help people like myself 💯🙏 and again Thanks

This is amazing. Plus I’m glad he doesn’t have ya focus on breathing. That always gets me anxious. This was just the good stuff 🎉🎉

Thanks for your share. I thought it was uncommon, but reading you say that focusing on breaths gets you anxious removed a big chunk of my terminal uniqueness. The type of uniqueness that makes my head think....I'm the only one who feels this or that . Thanks again for your comment

Everybody reacts to hypnosis in a different way. Some enjoy breath work, others don't. I like to create a variety of relaxation language patterns.

    Hi Nick,
I’m not much a commenter on peoples videos, but you’ve helped me a lot with my sleep issues. What truly inspires me is how many people you help, and how you reply to as many comments as you can. Keep doing what you’re doing. I hope you and the family are well, all the best. Luke

Out of like 20 different sleep relaxation bs tapes I finally found this one... its amazing!!!!. This one especially is great for me because he doesn't say things like you will now fall asleep he merely suggests u might feel it. He gives you no orders the words are just heard. You don't have 2 think about the words. They Almost make you not think. 100 percent I've tried every drug out there and abused them hard....and this soundtrack is 100 percent better. Thanks🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you, Timothy. This is my most powerful sleep hypnosis. There’s a lot of strong suggestions and hypnotic language in this one. I’m glad it worked! My best, Nick

This is the first one I listened to. My mind never shuts up at night. This changed everything. I did wake up once, but I listened to this again and went out like a light again. Many thanks! Absolutely amazing! I don't like the ones with music in the background myself. If I did I'd listen to them. They don't work for me. This is truly hypnotic!
