I think she's from Austria.... but I too would also love to hear how she got to where she is today.
shes told this in some video. i think shes frm austria and then maybe went to germany for a makeup school or something. i think her brother was living in la and she moved there too and started to assist another makeup artist and then build her way up from there.. might be wrong but i remember that from somewhere lol

The lip suits you so well, it compliments the skin, your eye and hair color so perfectly... most of the times I'm not sure if the colors I go for on the lips are good for me or not 🤔
Eli x I totally hear you on this one. Best tip is to go with your first instinct. If you feel the color looks “off” it could be the wrong undertone. Remember-we can always mix in a 2nd or 3rd color to adjust the tone of the lipstick:)

Love the look!, how do you apply the cream blush on top of the powder you already apply? I always end up with patchy makeup
Andrea C.I.C. Thank you! I’m glad you love the look. Good question! For this makeup, I really only used powder over areas I concealed-around the nose, forehead, chin and under eyes. I avoided powder on Monika’s cheekbones to keep her natural glow. So in this case the cream blush was applied over foundation allowing for smooth application. Hope that helps:)

I would model for you. I have acne around my temples that hasn’t gone away. I would love to know the proper way to hide it especially because I have tan skin. I think it sticks out a lot more especially if my hair is tied back

I am also in my mid 49s and not sure what foundation I should use bc I think too heavy ages me! I do have rosecea skin but have never liked a ton of coverage. Any recommendations?? ❤️❤️your channel

Hi Monika. I have a question - is it good to have “no makeup days” and not wear any makeup a few days a week? I always wear makeup every single day (even if it’s just a light amount) but I worry is this damaging my skin? I’m not sure I would feel confident with bare skin 😕 love your videos 😘xxx
Monika, I really love your videos. I do have a problem with the audio though. I have to put my Tv on 80 to hear the talking. On my phone I can't hear you really at all unless I have really good headphones. This has been since I started watching you in 2015. Thank you for all the pro tips and tutorials!

I’ll model for you! I usually have a few spots but mostly I deal with hyper pigmentation from previous acne spots. Also my skin is pretty light so it’s hard to really cover it😕
I'd really love to see a professional makeup artist give a normal person a makeover using the person's own makeup bag - to show that using products the right way can change the look and to prove we don't need expensive brushes and products.

I would love to get there for you to help me find a better way to do my makeup. I do not have acne but I do have occasional breakouts and a lot of scars and discoloration/hyperpigmentation. I would like to learn how to cover them without using that much full coverage foundation, it is really hard for me to try to do natural makeup but covering all the red dots around my face. Please let us know how to deal with those who aren't bless with the best skin.

Would you make a video on how to apply makeup on a teenager with acne. I have a teenage daughter who has a lot of acne but doesn’t wear makeup. I sometimes tell her it’s ok just a little to cover up big blemishes. She has a lot a acne I don’t know if it’s safe to even wear makeup.
My daughter was going through the same thing. It was really bad but now she is growing out of it. It usually takes a year or two to get better. We found a great product by Paula's Choice and it is the acne set. Try it, it really works xoxo Monika

It's hard, and then You don't die,..nobody can do anything but to spend time. It's just a rock hard way of Briefing like crazy,..Hang Loose, Surfer's, You are up in Hawaii for You'r natural test's of time..
I am 30 and cursed with acne prone skin. I have terrible scaring from the acne I endured while growing up. I barely wear makeup because of my bad skin and how it will react. Or just how fake it can look on my scarred skin. If you really can help people out there who continues to endure acne. I am willingly to show a naked face. I just want to finally be free of judgement and stares and embrace the skin I have. Perhaps even with your help, Monika. Thank you.
