- In today's tutorial I'll show you how to create a smoky eye if you have hooded eyelids. I also share a few of my favorite makeup tips for hooded eyes!

I so appreciate that a successful creative and talented make up artist like you continuing to make videos for us. I have learned so much from watching them. You really do work hard to make the client or the model look the best they can look but not artificial in anyway. Not that make up is not artificial, LOL! Your video with your daughter was just beautiful
When Hannah was talking about getting a job, @ 13:20, saying that you have to go out and LOOK for 'that' job. Essentially you have to try, try and try again. It reminded me of a career position I was eventually hired at. My boss said two quotes to me that I still remember years later. The first one being, "The squeaky wheel gets oiled" and "Nothing worth something is ever achieved without dedication and hard work".
monica- i cannot tell you how much i appreciate your statement about being comfortable in what you do, and your style as a makeup artist. I have been working in television for 3 years, i love natural/ sexy makeup for my women. I am praised often, and people know my work from the other artists at my network, yet I often get down on myself for not having a more broad taste in my "look". Ive only recently come to accept that I dont have to know how to do everything, i dont have to be a special effects artist, or a MAC style artist. It means a lot to hear someone as established as you reinforcing that.
Nobody on RUclips makes brows look more natural that Monika. Even drawn on like this. It's amazing.

I have almond shaped hooded eyes! I absolutley love it! This is a beautiful look on a gorgeous lady! I feel like brows really make a big difference especially on hooded eyes so I love to keep mine groomed and well defined. And also lots of khôl Liner, lashes and a brightened undereye area is the Key for me :) Thanks for the video! Lots of love from Germany :)

I just want to say "thank you" for this tutorial. I have hooded eyes and this made a world of difference. They really look lifted. I have blue eyes and those two products - L'Oreal Infallible Smokissime and Maybelline Lasting Drama Pencil - combined with my Taupe eye shadow (I do not have the Birkin eye shadow) made my eyes stand out. I received complements on the look - so thanks again!

I have hooded eyes (even a little more so than Hannah) and really struggle with eye shadow. I totally agree with you about not putting liner on the upper lid!
