I have most of my emerging bassoonists study this piece. I was overjoyed when I came across this recording today - it's the most beautiful I've heard. I love the choice of having a bassoon play the continuo. Thank you for making this available online for all of us to enjoy!

cannot stop listening to this, what a recording
I performed this piece on trombone in college. I am so delighted to hear this on bassoon. Excellent performance.
Most beautiful and exciting bassoon playing I have heard in a long time. I absolutely love the ornamentation. Best of luck in your career!
fire. simply fire. no other words can describe this performance.🔥
Sooooo cool you used a bassoon in your continuo. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks for posting Telemann "F minor sonata for bassoon, TWV 41f1", very much enjoyed this performance.
Telemann draws me like a magnet and the first few bars of this magnificent playing had me hooked! I think I have heard this played on recorder before.
Absolutely lovely! I can easily listen to this version over and over again. Nice lines, lovely tone, excellent breath control and a wonderful vibrato. Thank you!
Upload more stuff! You're so in control of the piece and the instrument, it's fantastic.
Outstanding and very lovely emotional performance. The three of you blend so smoothly! I'm really amazed at how well you all play together. Bassoon has to be my favorite instrument now. I have heard so many fabulous performances featuring this amazing instrument. It is not hard at all to fall in love with it. I like to consider it to be the cello of the woodwinds. The tone and voicing make me cry with joy to hear it. Thank you for your amazing rendition of this beautiful piece.
Sonido de gran nobleza con la calidad y refinamiento para ese periodo.
Bravo Andrew felicitaciones.!!!
Beautiful performance 👏 ❤️ Thank you for sharing your talent!
Clean articulation, good tempi, really musical phrasing, beautiful ornamentation, and tons of taste: an outstanding performance. Wish I could play it that well.

Wonderful performance! You have a great tone and the bsn continuo complements the piece overall. May I ask if you used a specific publisher for the continuo or used from the piano/harpsichord? Thank you for sharing.

バスーンでこの曲を聴けてちょっと嬉しい。(I am a flutist.)
a discovery! a delight! jacques schilknecht
If anyone has the parts of this piece? I would be happy.
are the ornaments written in the bassoon arrangement or are these your personal touch? either way, they are very enjoyable!
Hi, Raul! These are my own ornaments. Thanks so much for listening!
I'm playing the second movement for an audition into All Northwest, but with trombone. Any tips on playing the song with the original style?
Same here! :D I'd recommend paying careful attention to the articulations/slurs, and making your legato tonguing sound as much like a natural bassoon slur as possible.
+Joshua Gentile thank you!!
Lovely performance! May I use this recording in a score-video?
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoy! You can use the audio for a score video if you cite the performers in the description.
I hear a second Basson in this. Is there a score that contains both instrumental parts? I'm interested in perhaps doing this sonata with trombone and cello with the piano.
Hi, Jamie! The second (continuo) bassoon is just playing from the left hand of the keyboard score. Have fun performing this piece!

It's basso continuo, so the chords are provided but it's mostly improv

Como en su concierto para flauta
Haha i played the first movement for my 8th grade solo audition
