I rode this with my dad in ‘94 - ‘96 (he passed in 2019) ; the bus that honks loudly at one turn had me fully in tears holding onto my dad and then the next room that’s completely dark with noises of dogs barking made my cry so hard. There were other scenes that really bothered me but they are such faint memories it’s hard to recall. We rode that ride together so many times though despite that. My dad helped me conquer so many fears on such a small town ride. Geez. I didn’t think I’d get to see this ride again. Or hear it’s sounds again. Thank you for this video and letting relive some fond memories.
Wow. This is fantastic! This was my childhood growing up in Tulsa. I had to have ridden this 100 times over the years. Thanks for giving an old man one more ride!
This is so good. Please add your rides to the NoLimits2 Workshop, please! We would be able to ride them in VR if you do so. As someone who grew up in Tulsa, I'm dying to try this in VR and bring myself back to my childhood. My dad is also visiting soon, and I would love to show him this and your other creations like Zingo in VR, so please do think about adding them for people to download! :)
I appreciate your interest, and I do intend to upload a 360° video here on RUclips eventually. Unfortunately these models are in no way suitable for upload to the workshop. The way I did most of this is quite amateur and messy. I’d want to redo the entire thing before I considered uploading. That being said, it’s not impossible, it not happening soon. I’m sorry I’m not able to get them out sooner as I’m very very busy with projects.

@@gravitysixmodels6658 thank you for responding. Please do let me know if you ever do! Your rides from Bell's are more than just another No Limits 2 creation for me, they're a portal in time, as I was born and raised in Tulsa before my family moved out of state & I can only imagine how amazing it would be to become fully engrossed in VR! Thanks for creating this though, I really enjoyed watching them. I hope you get around to a rideable VR version in the future! I wouldn't mind seeing it in its current state, warts and all, just keeping in mind that it's a work in progress. :)
Just incredible! I, too, rode this ride a bazillion times as a kid in the 70's. Such Beautiful representation it's just how I remembered the Phantasmagoria. My eldest sister was a ride operator during the summers of: '73; '74and '75.
Thanks for the memories! I rode this ride many, many times and you've done a great job. For a second, I could almost smell the dank mustyness of this old ride.
the smell and the hum of the motors is something I'll never forget. I need to add in the sound for the bang doors too. That's another strong characteristic of the ride. That heavy thud and loud squeak of the hinges will always be in my brain.
I wish there was another ride exactly like this one -close by from where I live. I miss Bell's Amusement Park. Even though the park was small, I have gathered so many memories there. Phantasmagoria is and will always be my favorite. Back in 2003, when I was stationed on the east coast, I would frequently visit the online website of the park. .There was an animated Rick Davis Phantasmagoria cartoon on RUclips at one point, but it was prompted firstly online before RUclips made waves. Now, that being all said....Bell's created my childhood memories well into my years post adolescence. I know that there are similar dark rides like this, Bill Tracy creations? I know this due to the DAFE website.... so thats how I found the rides info.. In sad conclusion, I last visited Bell's in 2004-2005. Little did I know Bell's was going out the gates for good, I would have came back and visited more.
Kind of breaks my heart to see this. Fantastic depiction of the ride! Wish I had taken more time to paint a better "Warning Unsafe Mine" sign (looks kind of hurried and amateur now looking back on it). I used a 40% sodium fluorescein solution (they use it to find leaks in pipes) mixed into the water to illuminate the water in the skull pond -- it was invisible to see up until then. The skull "bus driver" head was stolen in 2004, so I hand built a "Friday the 13th" Jason figure to replace it for the final two seasons (2005-2006) using a Jason hockey mask I bought at Spirit Halloween. Sure miss that old ride. It was a one-of-a-kind!
I'm so happy you found my video! I certainly loved and appreciated this ride when I worked there, but now more than ever. This was a very fun project for me, and I'm sure it was even more fun working on the real thing. It needed a lot of love in it's final years, and I'm so happy that people like you were there touching it up before it closed.
Heard many stories about this being a truly haunted ride. The workers there were so passionate about the experience. It has to be one of the legends of theme parks.
fantastic job! i can still remember my first ride on it summer of 1973...i think it was brand new. then next time i rode it they added the bus and we about jumped out of the car! LOL...great memories!
I linked the video on the Bell's Documentary page of Facebook. nice work. if I had known you were doing this I could have given you high res photos of the bus.
Thanks for sharing the link! I had some photos from when I worked there back in 2000 that I lost in a flood. If you have something better, I have a facebook page that I'd love to connect on and see what you have. Feel free to reach out.
@@jeffzebert4982 it’s not it it’s actual place up high where they had it, but I wanted to include it so I placed it down low. It looked better this way.
Back in November, the Bell family announced it was bringing back the amusement park, claiming it would be 10 times bigger than the original location at the fairgrounds. "We will draw about a million and a half guests,” Bell's Co-owner Robby Bell said after a news conference.Feb 17, 2022
@@OGpartymcfly I did some research, watched some videos, referenced photos, and was able to puzzle it all together. This video isn’t of the ride as it existed but a tribute with some extended portions that were never in the ride. All the iconic moments are there and in their original places though.
Many thanks! Yes, I talked about that in the video description. There is no way to do mirrors in the software I use (that I'm aware of at this point), not to mention that the infinite mirror walls would kill my GPU, haha.
Every kid in tulsa knew this ride! From 70s to what early 2000s. Used to get out and walk around in it. We were bad lol. Get back in another car with girlfriend lol.
No, Bell’s is still struggling to establish their future. This is just a fan made video. The video description has a lot of information about what this is. Thanks for watching!

You did great! Makes me miss Bell's even more! Rode it many times with my late husband while going to Charles Page High School.
It warms my heart to see this gem of dark rides history so beautifully represented. And I did jump scare a few times!
The bus horn still gets me every time!

This is an amazing video! I never rode this ride but I'm glad this was made to show the experience!
Great video! Searching for videos of the Wacky Shack at Waldamere led me here.
Cool recreation! First time I've seen someone make a Darkride in No Limits 2.
OMG!!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!
YOU NAILED THE BILL TRACY STYLE!!!
thank you so much! I adore his work
Thank you for this reminds me of the whacky shack, Bill Tracy would be proud.
You even brilliantly recreated that "WARNING: REMAIN SEATED UNTIL CAR COMPLETELY STOPS" sign at the end of the ride!

Outstanding recreation
I don't remember the real thing being quite this vivid or colorful! ;-)
The model does make things more crisp and vivid than reality. Haha. I wish it looked this good back in my days there!

Nice job, thank you
Very cool! How were you able to recreate this so perfectly? Was it all based on memory!

Disney should put a ride in there park like this one
That’s what I’d do if I were the ceo of Disney
