I love the black and white Scottie dogs from the 50s. My mother had an old white one that was a planter. She didn't have many tchotchkes but I treasure that little dog. And I'm always on the look out for them.
That frog house just gave me an idea to make one.
You have acquired the talent to look through so many different items and how to decide what you will buy. That is very impressive to me because there are so many WONDERFUL things out there!!! And guess we all have our own vibe - very important!!!!

YES. And if it was truly Emerald its not high quality the lighter the green the less its worth. My Grandmama her birthstone was Emerald. Her wedding ring is an AMAZING DEEP Green. My sister got it when she married young and they couldn't afford a wedding ring. Jordan keep looking at thrift stores and swap meets

At 32:23 just to get it right…Orcas Island is one of the San Juan Islands, off the coast of Washington State. As we’re right on the border of Canada 🇨🇦 and Washington, we’ve visited many times. Very beautiful. ♥️

I love Jordan & Danni’s relationship. It is so very typical. As a mom of 3 millennials I also get the side eye looks & the eye rolls, lol. I know I annoy my boys because I talk to everybody when we are out & about & they are constantly waiting on me. They can just deal. I’d rather be happy & positive & always pivoting, than grumpy for any reason. 😊

I don’t think I can tell my son that our black poodle we got when he was 11 and he’s now 25 and she is still his baby that they are out of style. Those poodle needlepoint were great.

That little pottery piece looked like a last name, Murphy.
The bracelet Jordan was looking at looked more like Prasiolite. Way too pale to be Emerald.
Yes but a lot of the dark deep coloured gems that we see in the jewellery shop most are heat treated to make them dark and bright 💙
@@sandrine1956 True, but I've never seen such a pale emerald before, even in the raw. It could just be a natural light green emerald cut. It's beautiful, whatever it is.

You feel the same way about the sea urchin as I do about fur. It's ashame any animal should cruelly die for decor or fashion!!

Antique malls would be dangerous for me because you see so many amazing treasures..and I really couldn’t afford it,so I just watch you and dream about it..😂 I did love that crazy quilt,it was really different.

Poodles aren’t as popular as they once were. The top 4 dogs are: Labrador Retriever (#1 since 1991), Golden Retriever, German Shepherds, and French Bulldogs. I’m a cat lover . With a cat I can go away for a weekend or out on errands, visit people etc. and they’re fine on their own. I love that item you found at the beginning that has birds painted on it and a scalloped edge ❤, really beautiful 😻
I see a lot of German Shepherds at the Shelters. People are not prepared for their energy and intelligence, so they dump them. 😥
The other breeds you mentioned are easy. 😊
I love any Doggy items. I've never personally owned a Poodle but have some vintage Poodles 🐩 I am a #1 fan of Chihuahuas and Dachshunds. Dogs I have grew up with for real.

I lived in San Diego for 8 years, so it's great to see you going to the places I used to go to thrift. I lived in La Mesa, so that Goodwill and antique store were favorites, as was the one downtown. This consignment store was also a favorite, and I agree the prices could be high, but it's consignment, not thrift. So there's that. Oh! That blue glass bowl by Peter Faracone...I know the name! But I can't tell you anything about his work LOL, I just do not remember where I know the name from unless I met him sometime. Really a beautiful piece.

I have a 4yo black poodle, my first one. He is my service dog. They are smart, hypoallergenic & loving. I think breeders have priced them beyond what most people are willing to pay.

I didn't kill the mink! This is a vintage piece of history. Many people love to own these items because they live animals and it emotes a certain energy to them... it's all in your perspective.
There is Noone with a greater love for animals than I, I do rescue work, yes we have losses as does anyone taking on sick injured and elderly animals. But go ahead and stay in your state of negativity, it's pretty ugly just fyi.

If that dowery box could withstand outdoors it would be great with an added ramp or better yet flip it down so a turtle could enter it easily. Can turtles survive indoors?
