i felt it , like charles was taking over my mind and powerless, telepath is one of the most insane abilities in xmen.marvel. If the enemy shoots a laser beam, energy blast you can dodge those or wear armour. But the mind is so weak.
Scene shows how skilled and powerful Xavier is. He took control of Magnus' mind, rendering him immobile, created an emvironment where they can talk, then used Magnus's powers to reset earth's magnetic filed whilst wiping his memory.

I frigging love that they had Xavier hauling himself up to Magneto's eye level before giving him the business. It really got his sheer determination across when they did it in Fatal Attractions and I'm glad to see that they went that route here.
Magneto will be back. In the comics Xavier explained that even with telepathy, you can never truly change a person. Like a rubber band there mind will always want to go back to it’s original form.
It depends on the mind. Stronger minds, characters who are intellectually gifted can resist telepathy. Weaker minds, fragile minds are more susceptible and easier to control. The stronger the willpower of an individual the harder it is to control their mind.

I’m not debating he tried. But he still could not discern the actions of Bastion from the rest of humanity. Cable, Bishop, and even Wolverine have been through the wringer too. @@JDog2656 How many humans protest the sentinel programme, how many side with mutants and try to help, how many see the sufferin brought upon mutants and say enough, and how many non mutant heroes come to their aid. Magneto may not always use the best methods but he is right that co-existence might never happen. The thing people also never bring up is what Xavier does and the fear that likely spreads and damage it causes, he gathers, trains and weaponises mutants. He's showin the world that mutants have power and will use that power violently. At least Magneto primarily does things alone, he brings the hate and violence down upon himself and he actively seeks not to harm mutants, even those he fights. Magneto is far from perfect but he is a better hero than Xavier.
In the previous episode we saw Charles hanged with a metal arm, and Magneto's helm encased his mind completely. I wish we could see the offscreen continuation of the fight that led to this moment.
For decades after knowing of Onslaughts existence, I have been making jokes about them being stupid enough to incapacitated each other. It makes zero sense no matter how mad they get with the risk involved, but hey it's a comic 😂.

The thing people also never bring up is what Xavier does and the fear that likely spreads and damage it causes, he gathers, trains and weaponises mutants. He's showin the world that mutants have power and will use that power violently. At least Magneto primarily does things alone, he brings the hate and violence down upon himself and he actively seeks not to harm mutants, even those he fights. Magneto is far from perfect but he is a better hero than Xavier.
