Condoléances. Uhh, we needed a bassist so we gave him a call. I had just learned the piano so he fit right in. I had nailed the C chord and knew about the G chord but that's a long stretch so he was actually overqualified. The problem is that by the time I got the piano into my car, there was no room for his bass. So we left him at a bar. Being a musician, he liked that.
Yes I'm sure that to be a card-carrying member in the studio musicians Union back in the 60s must have been the ultimate job.... Salaries probably reached up to 2,500 a day.. so you show up on Monday morning and say.... So what's on for this week?..... well we've got Frank Sinatra in the morning... Nancy Sinatra in the afternoon... Then Aretha Franklin on Tuesday.. Sly and the family Stone in the am...and petula clark in the afternoon.. on Wednesday.... Hamilton Joe Frank & Reynolds and shy Coltrane on Thursday... And we're finishing off with Stevie Wonder on Friday... Then comments from The wrecking Crew went as........ From what I hear stevies got a new song..for us.. it's called ""Very superstitious... Can't wait to see the sSuet music for that!! one...

Yep, that so called bass players demands are indeed a joke. I bet he's in his twenties, never held down a real job, and still lives with his parents.
