    I want to thank you for showing the boat blind setup . I have two boys and they have fallen in live with duck hunting . I also love to be in the woods or in the water behind a tree or natural cover ,but with my two boys I have found its hard even with waders on all of us there is alot of limitations ,plus our area that we hunt changes levels throughout the year and it makes it tough . So all year long I have been searching and brainstorming and when I saw your design I fell in love with it . Now I have a 18 ft lowe that I converted into a hunting boat and this makes it a all around hunting boat . Thank you thank you thank you for taking your time to help others out with ideas ! If you want I can send you some pics of my build and some of my changes that I had to make to fit my situation . Again thank you

My little boy loves to go and I do all I can to keep him comfortable and be able to enjoy the time in the woods or water with me, please send the pics I would love to see them! Thanks for the support and good luck this season!! My email is in the about section on my channel page! Look forward to hearing from you!

      Thanks for your advice on the blind. I really appreciate you taking the time to look and responding back ..it means a lot. I really like the way you have attached yours to the boat. I may change mine like that next season. I’ll keep watching , learning , and liking (thumbs up) your vids on RUclips. Take care brother and thanks again.

    Thanks Sir! We hunt Minnesota on Lake Christina (Canvasbacks) and we desperately need something quick, inexpensive and easy to use on our boats. We'll start on this layout this coming weekend! Safe Hunting!

    Thanks for sharing !! I’m a new duck hunter in Florida (Tampa Bay Area) My dad never taught me to hunt or fish so I’m learning with my 11 year old son. I made a duck blind out of PVC b/c I hunt in central FL fresh water but also in Upper Tampa bays salt water so I can’t use metal conduit. I will have to incorporate some of your ideas when I revamp mine for next season. If you get a chance would you look at my blind and tell me if you think it is brushed in or camo Ed enough, I posted it b/c I didn’t see any boat blinds made out of pvc and it turned out great I thought it could help othersyou don’t have to watch the whole thing but your advice would be much appreciated. I posted it on RUclips under “diy Jon boat duck blind pvc” it’s 4 min 44 sec long. I’m a subscriber and I like your content. Thank you any advice on my blind would help they don’t seem to be finishing for me, thanks a lot man, Chad happy hunting your an awesome dad

    Best build I’ve seen! Super simple and the top is clutch! How wide is your boat?

    • @BlackBeltProduction
      @BlackBeltProduction  Месяц назад +1

      My boat is 15ft long by 48in wide, I’m glad you like it. I have a full length video of the blind build on the channel, thanks for watching

      I have a small 14’ 36” wide. I’m afraid it’s too narrow to have the conduit fit flush with the sides of my boat. But I also have a 1872 seaark. Definitely gonna try to replicate your build on her!

    So can you by chance explain a little more about your top cover that drops down? I have the same setup but can’t figure out the top cover situation. Thanks!

    • @BlackBeltProduction
      @BlackBeltProduction  2 года назад +1

      It’s a little to much to explain by texting lol but I will drop the link at the end of this, of the video of when I built the blind, and you can skip through until where I begin the top! Thanks for watching, and I hope this will help give you some clarity!! ruclips.net/video/DAc4XDlyep8/видео.html

    Great boat! I just built something very similar. I like your pvc idea to weigh down the tarp. How did you secure it to the tarp? Also, did you fill the pvc with something to weigh it down?

    • @BlackBeltProduction
      @BlackBeltProduction  4 года назад +1

      It’s rolled up in the tarp and tie wrapped tight “zip tied”, I didn fill it with anything, I didn want it to be to heavy

    • @BlackBeltProduction
      @BlackBeltProduction  4 года назад +1

      California Refuge Life I used 1’1/2 pvc it was heavy enough by itself
