You’ll love it! We have it on the blind for our v-bottom we like to use on rivers. One thing I was surprised about is how well it held heat in and helped to block wind.

Yeah yesterday's hunt was pretty windy and I'd say it blocked almost all of the wind. Tuesday's Hunt is supposed to be cold so we will see how well it holds in the heat with the Buddy heater.

you should put canvas on the inside for rain and wind protection. they also have camo with vinyl netting on the outside for raffia grass or grass mats.

We thought of those.. Cost and weight wise we went against the canvas. It would be a lot for a 24ft boat and an extra layer to deal with when folding.
Wasn't sure about the camo netting longevity/durability. I was hoping the raffia grass would provide enough wind block and it did end up blocking most of it as is.

A few questions, I’m getting ready to do the same thing getting ready for this season. Do you leave it on year round (if so how does it hold up) or do you store it each time. How does the grass do going down the highway?
    Nice video!

I leave it on the whole duck season. When it would rain, I would stand it up to let it dry. Everyone said the grass can last you 10 years if you keep it dry. I've stored it in my shed as one entire piece for the off season. Going 70 down the hwy it has never given me any issues all year with only those 2 orange rachet straps.

Any problems with the bottom of the grass dragging in the water?

Slightly. I could have cut the ends but didn't want an abnormal straight edge. I always let it air out after I got home anyways because that is supposed to be better for its longevity.
