North Wilkesboro Speedway / December 20, 2020

On a recent trip to the mountains, we saw an ominous, vine infested structure on the side of highway 421 in North Wilkesboro. It didn't take but a flight of ideas to realize that it was one of the early tracks of determination left to fall to the rise of nature. On the return trip home we stopped for a moment to pay tribute to it.
