Yeah nah, my "I ain't got a job!" response works every time...
Cause nothing shuts down a seller more than a potential customer with no money 😆! I'll have to try that sometime myself when a seller pops up to me lol 😂.
I was at Home Depot when an employee approached me. I thought he was going to ask if I needed help. He says, "are you the homeowner?" Reminded me of those spam calls I would get and have a ton of fun with inspired by Jim Florentine's, The Record. I replied, why do you ask? I guess that wasn't in the script because he said, "nevermind", and walked away. 🤷🏽♀️😂
00:41 Korey acting like he is in a scary movie at Best Buy. Salesperson be like cha cha cha cha.
“We have several plans”🤣 This segment was absolutely hilarious.
see i work retail, and i just do the basics of do you need help etc. cause 9 times out of ten you know that someone knows what they want to get in and out. Now at times i do get people who are smartasses and try to throw me and my work buddies off and we turn the tables on em. One time i had a guy just step up going "imma gonna save ya breath and say no to everythin you offerin" so i was crafty. i scanned his items out and put em back in the cart he looked at me dumbfounded and went "hey man wheres my bags?" "oh sir you said no to everything i was gonna ask that included do you want the items in a bag"
Now you are funny🤣
My gosh, those salespeople are ANNOYING AS HECK!! I try my best to go around them when I see them, but I shut them down the mere moment they say, "hey sir, can I ask you a question?"
I’m convinced that Guitar Center hires regular clothes people to sell shit because every time I go there I always get some random dude come up to me and try to convince me to buy some guitar or amp. 😂
Thought it was just me lol
The pity approach got me to buy some Girl Scout cookies awhile back. I was chilling at the student center and that one little girl kept saying “Girl scout cookies!” in a sort of sad tone and i was like “OK you know what, sure. I like the cookies anyway”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭 bring out his wife !
I was a sales associate at a department store for over 10 years. I'm so glad I got another job because you have to push these products and services on ppl.
Hey Korey there was a Shoney's in Natchez, MS. I think it just closed last year.
Ear buds. Been ignoring sales marketers and charity donation reps for years...
Ugh... Amway is the worst. If you get into one of those meetings just walk out.
I definitely fell for one once
One time, I was walking through a mall in Florida, where I live, and a salesperson flagged me down and tried to sell me some kind of exfoliating scrub. He pointed out the "Product of California" on the bottle, as if that was supposed to impress me. I think he thought I'd think "Product of California" was a sign of quality. I didn't tell him that I knew better, being one myself.
As a salesperson, we try to judge who is interested and who isn't if you give us like 10 seconds of your time it's a really good signal for us so for your own benefit just tell them straight up that you're not at all interested. It benefits us and you trust me, we won't be offended and anyone who is is bad at their job and probably desperate for a sale.
I'm willing to bet over 95% aren't interested. The ones that give you 10 seconds have a hard time saying "no" & don't like confrontation.
Yeah I had a few companies call me trying to ask for an interview for a marketing sales position when you’re just going to be selling something at Walmart or sams. They have a high turnover rate for a reason….
salespeople and spam callers are the worst sometimes
Man we get so many spam callers it's unreal! I can probably count on one hand the number of REAL LIVE PEOPLE who call us during the day versus the numerous spam bots we get 😩!
Nobody but Directv salesmen in BestBuy. I don’t know why they waste their time. I almost want to laugh when they ask what I pay for cable.

But to fair Thats that sort of mentality is what leads someone to fly to Atlanta to eat at Applebee's at a mall with a 15 year old fans .
This happened to me once, it was a pyramid scheme. This super hot chick at my job wanted to hang out, and we joked around so I thought I had a chance. Then I walk into an apartment with like 3 other coworkers and some randoms. I was pissed lol sat through the whole presentation just to say no.
Korey the "D" salesman
Just cough and tell them you have covid
