I can't wait to try these Rotel balls. I've made the regular ones for years but the Rotel ones are just on another level! Yum yum yum! Merry Christmas to you guys and your family. I finely dice some celery to go in mine. I tried it once and everyone loved them. So now I put the celery in them each time I make them. I dice it up pretty small. Merry Christmas everyone!

What a nice addition to the sausage balls. I have seen some add cooked, chopped and pressed dry spinach to their sausage ball to sneak in a bit of vegetable and their kids really liked them without knowing it was good for them. Not only are these a good party dish, but they work well in blinds: duck, deer and on fishing trips too.

I've made regular sausage balls every Christmas for no telling how many years. I've never thought about adding rotel or cream cheese. I can my own rotel tomatoes. Also I can jalapenos.....you are giving me ideas that I may have to try in the future.
