I've put a card of the complete build in the beginning of each of these individual parts, so if RUclips recommended this video to you, but you haven't seen the full build video, watch that instead, as it's the full thing start to finish.
I find this far more fascinating and absorbing than I should. I adored the V50 "in its day" as something like the perfect road motorcycle ..... Like Goldilocks choosing the right porridge.... Not too hot, not too cool, not too heavy, not too big..." So I want to rail against putting turbos on a jewel like this... But I can't. This is such an interesting and amusing project. I so want it to succeed. And I rather imagine it will. Excellent videos.
What about the intercooler? Where do you want to put it without disturbing the airflow around the cylinders? The engine might overheat very quickly though.
I've decided to run this setup non-intercooled. I doubt it's going to overheat, the turbo isn't going to effect the running temps very much (out of boost at least).
I caught a glimpse of you trying the turbo closer to the exhaust port but still went a couple inches out and past a bend. Was this due to heat worries, I saw the post on your bracket and exhaust thickness or serviceability or routing the rest of the plumbing or just didn’t like the placement. Really enjoy your work.
I was looking at the bike from the front, from an airflow perspective, it makes sense to mount the turbo's in such a way that they don't block the cylinder heads from getting airflow. See ya on the next one

I love watching and learning from talent, that music was cool too, throw some more of that in from time to time

Very well done.
Thank you kindly!
I really look up to your skills doc!
Thanks
Your welding is improving!
Thx
Mantapp ❤️❤️👍
Love the videos, only suggestion would be to make thicker exhaust flanges, as those are super thin and will warp once heated enough
I'll keep that in mind. Same stuff I used on the GS build and so far so good.
@@DoctorMotorcycle well if it works, who am I to say otherwise, I don't have a turbo bike lol
Nice work.. best gauges for bike. Can you send some links for buy them.

That's one big ass turbo for that little engine!
How much boost are you going to get?
Haha, turbo(s), there's 2. Probably only going to run 8-10 psi.
Why spray wd-40 on @ 4:20?
Rideapart
Con montaggio turbo andrebbe alzato rapporto di compressione
Good video DM, I wish I was there to help powdercoat all your brackets :-)... Thank you so much for the good content !!!
Thanks Tom, I wouldn't mind that either haha
what is the speed gauge?
Wideband/Boost gauge, I'm not going to use a speedometer
